Its a long shot because we have to hope that someone from the other sites that is going to get a link visits these forums and isn't going to need it.

Not sure if I will get a preorder link or not. I have posted on several of the forums, but two blogs I seem to constantly be waiting for moderation o don't know if I will be on the list.
Definitely want in on one, but if by some miracle I get extra, what can I say xda has always been good to me from my axim days through N1!

See thread title. They were there in the past on Dell's site, what happened?
I didn't know that any of the first gen wp7 phones had 32gb specs. The DIY mod is easy enough though, albeit it requires you to have a back-up or start from scratch every time you change the sd.

32GB DVP was released when they launched the AT&T version. You could also get it for T-Mobile at that time.
Currently having @amyatdell look in to it I'll post as soon as I find out.

Seems this phone will be phased out soon.. I had an order for one, was to be deliveted tomorrow. I got an email stating it eas delayed even more...that was a month of waiting...I called and canceled. No need to hace a phone with such bad fabrication service....will wait for d new nokia/microsoft wm7.5

Haven't received any new info from @amyatdell yet. She did reply saying that if it isn't on their sit they most likely don't have any but that she would check to see if maybe they had one I could get for my replacement. I would be interested in knowing what they would say if a 32gb owner were to ask for a replacement. I am getting one after having told them I want a replacement that's worth the invisible shield I will lose and have to buy again. I was offered a 16 GB w/ case but said if possible I would prefer a 32 as it would rectify my prior issues as well.

Hey everyone, I wanted to let everyone know that I have switched from T-Mobile to Verizon Wireless, as the TMO coverage in my area has been pretty bad for the last year. I've gone to TMO customer service and even a couple of their stores, and I always had the impression that they just didn't care if I had good coverage or not. I have the G2 currently running Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 Stable, and will be looking at selling it once my transition to Verizon is complete. If there are any people interested in purchasing it from me, please send me a direct message here. I have no idea what the phone is worth, but would like to get something worth my while for it. It's in great condition, except that the back metal door is all scratched up. But when you think about it, if you've owned a G2 before then you'll know that this door gets scratched up with everyday use.

This G2 community has been great, and I've learned an awful lot from so many here. I will miss this little area of XDA.

I know about the Marketplace, but I wanted to offer it up to this group first before posting it over there. I'm sure there will be someone here that may need a replacement or additional G2. If I don't get any bites, I'll post it in the Marketplace. Thanks for the suggestion though.

O man, a couple of days too late for me. I just bought a G2 in fair condition off ebay. I love my old G2, but I've worn out the power button and the battery meter is wonky. Gonna try transferring my CM7.2 backup to the ebay phone tonight or tomorrow.

My contract was up on May 9, however, after speaking with AT&T customer care they were able to give me an early contract renewal for free allowing me to pre order my GS4. So call them if you don't want to be late to the party! Also, here is a good GS4 review video from Android Authority if you're interested

This is all based on your account tenure, account type and current probability standing as they refer to it. On most good standing status accounts, most main carriers will let you purchase a new phone 30 days before your contract is up. Pre-ordering a phone is also different.

Well it showed up on the first page of the section it was in and no one had touched it so I posted to it. Just because it's an old thread doesn't mean they don't need or want info still.
If it needs to 'rest in peace' it would've been closed/locked.

I didn't leave anyone out lol this thread was pertaining to bricked devices regarding MF3 OTA.....
I got The HTC One and contacted EE to cancel the contract and take the phone back as I changed my mind.
With the phonebeside me in its box, I've just had to have a play with it and now I'm gutted to be sending it back.
It's absolutely stunning, I've never seen or held such a wonderful device.
I'm wondering now as I've been sent a returns bag etc, charge it up and hope EE will let me keep it or send it back and get another one.
So... why are you sending it back?
Um yeah.... Some more details perhaps?

Inquisitive a while ago, I just decided tol have a play around with it and now wish I hadn't cancelled.
Was wondering if I contacted them could I uncancel or simply send it back and start again.

Just phone EE again say you changed your mind, you decided to stay with them, they would be more than happy to let you stay. I don't see why there would be any problem. Very likely they would let you keep the phone then just start a new contract, cos technically only until you returned the phone your contract is fully stopped, they may be able to reverse it at this stage.

Oh buddy thanks for the good laugh. I do understand. That would be hard but after you play with this amazing phone how could you send it back. Send them the iPhone 5 maybe they wont notice :highfive:

Haha, this is hilarious. Go on to xda to ask whether you can change your mind about cancelling a contract (or not) with EE?

No he started a thread saying he ordered the ONE and then before getting it he changed his mind thinking he would be ok with the iphone 5 so he calls in and has them cancel the new contract and send him a return kit. He then gets the ONE and being a phone junkie like all of us on XDA he HAS to play with and realizes that he loves the ONE and does not want to use his iphone 5 anymore but as he said he already called in to cancel so what does he do??? Which has been answered so next time you wish to bash someone or talk crap maybe sharpen up on your reading comprehension skills.

I agree but I am also a phone nut and have done crazier things in my time. He got caught up in the hype then doubted the hype (who can blame him) and then realized the hype was real. Sounds a little like all of us :silly:
