Battery Status Icon - Hero CDMA General

Currently I have on my heroc from sprint the aospCMod-20110123-094057. That's working flawlessly so far. I installed the circlebattery-021 and now the icon is just the simple white with the 20 ticks and it just shows 0 or Plugged in. No colors and no actual reading. The battery status is seeing correctly in the Phone Status.
Any ideas? Did I miss something?
Thanks,

NVM. Found the newest circlebattery mod after poking around wiki some more. The newest one isn't on the romrepo atm.

Try out this package, my phone will show correct battery percentage.

just show my screenshot, circle battery looks pretty good.

CircleBattery
On the wiki page for the circlebattery mod is the newest .zip that works with the aospCMod-20110123.
Working just fine for me now. You must use that one, the circlebattery_21 at romrepo.info will not work.
(Won't let me post the link atm)

Superimposed Icons? help?...

So. I am runing DCD 3.0.1 rom with Telus - works great!!! and the ICS versus modem tethering gives me unlimited dats...blah blah blah, it's all good. However, somehow, and trust me I have retraced my steps, I managed to get the clock to display two line detail. The date on top and the time on bottom in the top task bar. HTC home also gives us a battery meter while on the today screen. Well it seems that on the today screen I have the time and battery icon trying to display at the same position on the bar. This causes an interesting white blob in my task bar. I would rather just have the battery meter, and get rid of the two line clock thing. I have tried to enable and disable the show clock in all programs option. But I cannot figure out how this two lined clock appeared and after endless searching I cannot find any settings anywhere that would help. If anyone has any ideas, or better yet has had the same problem, let me know. Id rather not have to hard reset.

Percentage and battery icon?

Is there a way to get a percentage number along with the battery icon?
There is a free widget available in the market which does exactly what u assked for.
Just search for "battery percentage"
Sorry, I wasn't clear, I want it up where the current battery icon is, not a widget.
I use battery indicator, it's free from the market and though it doen't show the percentage on top of the battery icon, it shows it to the left of the notification bar so it's always there no matter in what screen you are and occupies no desktop space.
Also, it shows some very useful, very well integrated info in the notification area when you pull it down including how long it's been unplugged, bettery health, temp and voltage.
In case it was any concern, it hasn't affected my battery life at all (i can still get about 3 days on mid-light use)
Hope u like it!!
Use the battery monitor already built in that goes into the notification bar.
Then bring the bar down and the percentage is there.
i've been trying out quite a bunch of modded roms for the past week, and I think I came accross one which indeed had percentage written in the small green battery icon at the top-right corner next to the time. Maybe try out the r1 cyanogen port from modaco.
Most modded roms use some kind of ugly donut icon, which isn't more precise than the stock battery looking icon.
However, i'm not actually sure if having percentage written in the icon changes much : i suppose there must be an equal number of pictures, whatever battery indicator design you choose.

[Q] Strange status bar symbols/letters

While using a twitter app (twitt 2.0) I noticed in my status bar beside the battery status icon "EN",,, does anyone know what this means ? I powered down the phone, then back up and it went away. Would appreciate any input, all the issues with this phone makes me nervous, I've only had a few days now, no freezing issues .... yet...
figured it out
Ok, I figured it out sort of. Whenever you have the slide out keyboard out.. Then tap on an area to type like I am right here, the EN symbol shows up by the battery indicator. I assume it represents the English language keyboard or something, not 100% for sure. You can replicate it on most apps too like the MS YouTube app, open it then do a search with your slide out keyboard.
Yes that is accurate.
For future reference you an check the manual. Pages 17 & 27 have a good overview of the various icons you might encounter on the status bar.

Battery Indicator

I have a little icon of a battery that shows percent of remaining charge left on my Evo top bar & wondered if it was available for the A500 Looked in the market, found it . Sits unobtrusively in the bottom bar. Try it you'll like it ! It's the name of the post, first one in Market.
Good tip
I missed that as well. Thanks for the tip. Will try it out.

[Q] Circle Battery for CM9

Hi guys,
since this morning I'm using CM9 Build12 on my SGS and think it's like awesome!!
But I'd like to have the battery circle as battery indicator on top of the screen. Does anyone know how this works? I had CM7 and before that Darky 7-10, where I could always easily install a zip via CWM.
Thanks in advance
jonny
You can try Perka's mod. It's not circle but you may like this one too, just trying to help.
Here you go!
I installed it and it works.
Cool! Thank you!
It's mainly about having a number for the battery status and not to sacrify space on my home screen
Perka's mod looks nice
There's a good circle battery available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20952135
One's all blue and the other changes colour as it discharges.
Perka's mod looks very nice!!
