I'll set up my dropbox, I'll pm you. I have it.
It's deodexed though. Is that ok? Pure stock, rooted, and has busybox (credit to Whitehawkx).
Also it's modded to 3e to act as 2e. (credit to Untermensh)
Want it?

You mean this one?

Or something else?
*EDIT* Never mind. That's the ODIN version.

JK6 Is So Frustrating!

All i want to do is install a metamorph, and flash a couple things. But i have to go through so much to get these even working. I rooted and installed busybox, but now metamorph says there isnt enough free space in /system. ugh.. and to get CWM working, i have to push 3e recovery so that the update.zip works? wtf dude this is gay.
Im on stock jk6 btw
Odin back to stock ji6 then flash the stock jk6 rom. Everything will work after... I had the same problem. Everything is good now.

JK6 is a LEAK, therefore, things haven't been totally updated for it. And since there's no source for 2.2 yet for vibrant, using another recover for it (2e) is pretty hard. If you want an easy way to get root+busybox+3e all in one, flash the deodexed CWM flashable in the dev section (after ODIN'ing to jfd). You can't expect all the previous methods from 2.1 to work as they did with 2.2...

My phone was having the exact problems he listed. When i tried to use metamorph it would tell me that there wasn't enough space in the system. What i did was odin back to stock ji6 then flash sombionx's flashable stock jk6 threw cwm. Everything is good now. No problems at all.
JK6 Rom i used

He asked for a stock ROM, why suggest that?
You can find KA6 stock here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919687
Apply using ODIN.
OP, not to sound rude... just look in the dev section for the ODIN and CWR flashable versions.

Just to back the OP a litte...
I'm not even sure what the stock 2.2 is. All this talk of KA6 and KA7 and on top of that all the leaked or not... and people tossing out flash this rom or flash that rom.. it gets confusing when your not used to this. If you go in to the developers section and look, nothing is labeled "stock 2.2 cwm flash able" and when you search for it, you get a bunch of old links to non official 2.2.
I never looked for it till OP asked. I'm happy with the rom im running right now, but I feel your confusion OP.
Edit:
There is also usually at least one clear cut thread on how to get the update and how to root the update. Maybe ill put this together.
yeah some people might need the stock rom to make warranty claims.
I would sure love to know why it is being said that KA7 is "official froyo OTA." I don't believe I have heard Samsung or T-mobile even mention KA7 so how would anyone know?
Again, this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919687
contains the file to ODIN that will get you to exactly where you would get if you upgraded via mini kies.
In other words, ODIN that file and you will be on "current stock version"

[Q] Downgrade Vibrant CM7 to Stock 2.2?

My wife has had it with her Vibrant running a 2.3.5 CM7 based ROM not having working GPS. I figured I would put her back to a stock but rooted ROM.
Is this possible? I have used ODIN before, so that is not an issue. I am having a hard time finding an original ROM to download.
What are my options?
Thanks in advance!!!

I was on Simply Honey and I ODIN back to stock (eclair).
I use the "GBBOOT-T959UVJFD.tar" (see link below, file is in 2nd post) and the 512 pit file. Make sure to check Re-Partition only, leave the other boxes UNCHECKED.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1156832
I followed s15274n guide, (link below) to root and install any rom. I used option B to root and update rom. I installed Trigger as I was on this prior to CM7 and found it to be the most stable.
http://rootzwiki.com/showthread.php...-*-tricks-*-ninja-apps-*-everything#post11383
So I cannot just download the stock ROM and ODIN back to it? Because of the GB bootloaders?

Use this method. It'll clean out any ghosts of old roms, and put you back on jk2 froyo with root and busybox. It should also put you back on froyo bootloader. I do this between every flash now.

Eugene's Froyo That Does Not Brick (FTDNB)
I have posted about it in several threads, including my own, so I figured I would finally put it in a central location. This is my FTDNB method for starting with a fresh, clean phone, without any ghosts of roms past popping up to cause you issues.
Download this first, and flash through Odin with your standard 512 pit file
http://eb-productions.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=samsungsgs&action=display&thread=8
Then when it reboots to the recovery screen, pull your battery, reinsert it and boot up to dl mode, and flash the following, with your same pit file, and selecting repartition in Odin this second flash only:
http://eb-productions.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=samsungsgs&action=display&thread=3
The first link there is Eugene's Froyo That Does Not Brick, but it doesnt work that well as a driver. As an eraser its great though! The second link is the Froyo JK2 leak, with fixed recovery and already rooted. If the first one didnt, the second flash will definitely put you back on Froyo bootloaders.
Thats my whole secret to keeping a clean phone and wiping out any ghosts. You can proceed from there in your desired direction (back to ZD or GZ preferrably) in a safe manner. Its always worked for me to clear up any oddness, and literally takes 15 minutes tops once you have the files downloaded.

Then if you want rooted stock then flash or odin kb5 froyo found on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1036193
I would suggest flashing a custom froyo rom like ZenDroid, Trigger 3.2, or Project V though.

I gave up on that gps on the vibrant just buy her a bluetooth gps receiver. I should have done this long time ago.
Ok, I got it downgraded to 2.1 and then up to 2.2. How do I get the official stock 2.2.1 ROM for it? I have been looking around, but cannot find it for download. What is the best procedure for rooting 2.2?

I believe the latest official stock for Vibrant is 2.2 kb5. You can root using Z4root on your phone or Super One Click from your computer. Or you can use Rom Manager to put CWM on you're phone and flash the pre-rooted stock kb5 from the thread I posted above.

couple questions.

Sorry about these questions all Im sure they are newb but I just want to make sure before I go about doing anything....
1. I am rooted on MF9 and thinking about going to the google Rom is there a 4.3 out for the Sprint version or it just 4.2.2 just need a no or if yes a little link to help me out due too I have not seen one.
2. If I go to google rom and decide I want to go back to MF9 how do I go about doing this in odin do I use official MF9 software? or what?
The GE rom posted here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345386
is off of the 4.2.2 GE S4.
If you're looking for a rom based off of 4.3, give the Cyanogen Rom 10.2 nightly a shot, located here. http://get.cm/?device=jfltespr
The thread describing bugs, and all that fun stuff is here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2405081
To go back to stock, you can either flash the stock M9F rom through custom recovery, or odin everything back to stock using this thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2357471
ok thanks for clarification saw it just wanted to make sure and what what files would be good to Odin back to stock just MF9 stock file?

Use either the post above for pure stock or this
Download Deodexed No Data Wipe Tar from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2357471
For stock + root + busybox
Assuming you have a custom recovery installed just make a backup in recovery before flashing the new ROM. Then you can revert to your old rim anytime you like.
ok cool thanks everyone for your help new to the S4 things so trying to catch up yea Im running MF9 Rooted at the moment with CWM about to see what this google rom and just trying to make sure I don't brick my phone taking it calm and easy for a bit will get more gutsy soon enough lol

how to flash Stock Rom using ODIN?!?!

I have owned samsung phones since the original s1 and it's always been easy to flash a stock rom using odin.whenever I had a problem with my current rom or soft bricked I just downloaded the tar odin file flashed pda in odin and went back to 100% stock. But I cannot for the love of God seem to find this easy on at&t s4. A buddy gave me his s4 to update it to latest 4.3 but cannot find any odin tars for any of the 4.3 updates..and when I find it why is it split up by recovery/bootloader etc? So my question is how do i go from 4.2.2 to 4.3 using odin, because he cannot do it via kies or ota

There is no 4.3. First off, if he's on MDL then you should root and get recovery and use the StockUp ROM, because that way he'll get 4.3 MK2 but also be able to change ROMs to something like Cyanogemnod. If he already has MF3 then there's a nice clear thread with "UPDATE.ZIP" in the title you can find in the general section with all the information you should need.

what do you mean there's no 4.3, you mean an odin image of 4.3?? thats what I meant why is it that on my t-mobile s4 they have the complete image of the stock rom, is it because att version has a locked bootloader?? I never had to mess with update.zip files ever on a samsung phone, excuse my ignorance.

I know where to look now thanks, my originally question is why we even have to bother with update.zip instead of just flashing 1 odin file that has complete stock rom like in all other samsung phones.

Locked bootloader. There is tons of informative threads about it in the general, q&a, development, original development. and developer's only sub-forums.

Yes, i meant no ODIN image. There's a locked bootloader and they're trying so hard to keep us from modifying it they make it so you can only get repairs through the Samsung centers and such where they check if you tried to mod it and are supposed to not do anything to help you if you did. As scott said, you can find plenty more information around and probably better explanations than my theories.
I think the last full stock rom was I337UCUAMDL or just MDL. Since then though, each update has been just merely that, an update or patch. So there isnt a full rom of 4.3 MK2. Your best bet, which i just did yesterday, is to use Ted77USA's thread on the bricked MK2, third post in his thread. Follow this link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2573080&nocache=1 Again pay attention to it all. Worked out very well for me and my issue. Sure it should be as easy for you.
