[SOLVED] How to create link to WM Memory Page? - Windows Mobile

Can anyone tell me how to create a link to the Memory page?
This one:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Edit: [SOLVED] So, based off of what Alexs posted here's what you need to do.
Create a shortcut using File Explorer. I don't think it matters what it's a shortcut to initially.
Once you have made the shortcut, use Total Commander and go to the shortcut's properties. Once in the shortcut's properties, go to the "Shortcut" tab at the top of the screen. In the "Target" field, type what Alexx said "ctlpnl cplmain.cpl,4". Then, rename the shortcut to whatever you want the link to say in the start menu and move it to whatever Start Menu folder you want it in. Or, if you're cooking it in, just add an app.dat that makes your shortcut go wherever it is that you want it.
Thanks again Alexx~

21#ctlpnl cplmain.cpl,4 - Main
23#ctlpnl cplmain.cpl,4,1 - Storage Card

I know the Main screen is cplmain.cpl,4, but how would that look in app.dat form.
Say if I wanted to place a link to that in my Tools folder, fill in the blanks:
Directory("\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Tools"):-File("Memory.lnk","?_____________?.lnk")
Would it be:
Directory("\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Tools"):-File("Memory.lnk","\Windows\cplmain.cpl,4") ?
or
Directory("\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Tools"):-File("cplmain.cpl,4","\Windows\cplmain.cpl,4") ?

Sweet that worked! I see how you did it. Thanks a lot for teaching me something new!

[request] VGA folder launcher for WM

Hello guys,
Would someone be willing to develop a small tool „folder launcher“ for use on Windows Mobile, VGA?
I need a small application to be able to display specified “folder”. I would prefer an icon view of this folder, with ability to start up any content of the folder (such shortcuts, *.exe files etc…)
I know, it would be "the same" or similar to WM programs (Start menu/Programs), but I could not find any way of how to run the programs folder with any command or shortcut either from hardware key nor from softkey.
Here is my idea of how it could look like:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Thank you for any help in advance.
Just create a shortcut from "\Windows\folderview.exe" to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs"

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I've tried... It was missing on my DIAMOND, so I did download the file from net, BUT it was visibly slow in comparison with original programs
Anyone to help?

Unfortunately that only works for the Programs Folder not any others, like \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games

you dont need 2 files, in the latest icontact 0.92 he removed the skin file and implemented it in the .png so all you need is the .png file and you're good to go.

Text messages home quick link

I updated to the new Energy rom and now I don't see "messages" in the quick links. Anyone know how to add it?
Can anyone chime in to help?
Have a look in your windows folder on your phone. Look for messaging_Client.exe if it is there then you can create a shortcut with something like Total commander in the start menu and should give you your shortcut. If you dont see it then I would ask in the roms thread.
Where is the Windows folder? I have the phone connected to my computer with ActiveSync but the \windows directory is the only one I don't see.

You need to have all files and folders shown but when you hook it up to the pc then go into main storage (not SD card) you should see the windows folder
This is all that I see:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Ok you have to go into your control panel on your PC under folder options and unhide the protected folders.
Eureka, I found it! Thanks!

[TIP] Create Android Studio launcher in Ubuntu Unity

Hey guys,
I just wanted to share a little tip with all of you, who want to add a little launcher icon to your unity launcher. It's very fast and works perfectly for me. Just try it
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
1. Open any editor you like (I use SciTE)
2. Copy this text into your editor
Code:
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Android Studio
Comment=Android Studio
Type=Application
Categories=Development;
Exec=/home/{yourusername}/path/to/android-studio/bin/studio.sh
Terminal=false
StartupNotify=true
Icon=/home/{yourusername}/path/to/android-studio/icon.png
Don't forget to change {yourusername} to your acutal user name and path/to/android-studio to the path of the android studio on your pc
3. Save it to .local/share/applications/ (to show .local press CTRL+h) named "androidstudio.desktop"
4. Download this icon and paste it in android-studio/ (you may of course use any other icon you like too!)
5. Open your file explorer and press CTRL+h to show hidden files. Navigate to .local/share/applications/ and take the androidstudio.desktop and drop it in your unity launcher.
6. Click on the icon and start Android Studio
I hope this is useful for you
Alternately, at the beginning screen where it says "new project, import project, configuration...." you could go to configuration/settings (whatever its called) and select "create launcher" i think its much faster than having to make desktop files and blah blah blah
