It can make,
Green .
Amber . (more likely red)
I've been looking into this too but,
Sorry, Only two colours : )

Android Native Phones have 3 LED's, RED, BLUE, GREEN, so called native colours. With these colours you can mix every other. The HD2 only has a green and orange LED. If you choose another colour in Android for a LED notification, i could show only green or nothing.

Not currently. I started a thread about having the backlight turn on when a message is received. I think this should be the same.
another thing google needs to fix ASAP!
I want the damn light to turn on when I get a message (screen)
The light BLINKS GREEN when there is something in the notification bar.

I just noticed my battery like is down to 12% the notification light, isn't blinking at all.
Even with Bluetooth or wifi on my light does not blink blue. Weird.
I wonder if this is included in Androids "memory saving" feature. *Since the Android will self close apps in the background when it needs more memory. I don't know.
green blink
I just sent a txt to myself. light blinks green... cool!
Doesn't the light normally blink green, in stand-by mode?

The light doesnt blink as others cell phones do. The only time the light blink is when there is something in the notification bar. Test it out...
blue led?
I have yet to see the blue light just green orage and red...
anybody seen a blue led on a g1?
I think there's only one LED on the G1, and it's a red/green one (that looks yellow when both sides are energized.)

You can get it blue wen you hold the track ball down and powering up the phone.

I think it is four sided. Red, Orange, Green, and Blue
I have seen green and red LEDs mix before... and this doesn't look like that.

Change the blinking color?

You know how ...
When your charging the Shadow, it show's an orange light.
When bluetooth is enabled, it's a blue light.
And when it's not charging, it's a green light.
Is there a registry hack or anything to change the light to other colors such as red, pink, etc?
The leds are only that color and can not create any other color combination other than what it is [orange (charging), red (Batt very low), blue (bluetooth), or green (radio signal)]. There are two color leds available which basicaly are two leds built into one, for example on the Shadow, one led having orange and red and the other having green and blue. Getting a bit technical, to make custom colors it would take a RGB (Red, Blue, Green) led that would have to have individual control of the three colors to create any color you can think of like on an lcd monitor. Hope this answers your question.

LED colors

I've been looking to change the LED notification color on my mytouch slide however it seems that the hardware is limited to only green and orange...
anyone successfully changed the LED out for a multicolored one?
there is only 2 led colors and thats them

I think he's asking if anyone has replaced the 2-color one with a multi-color one. At least, I think.
I haven't done much research, but I don't think anyone's mentioned it.
I haven't pulled the slide apart to check, but most 2-color LEDs only have 2 leads to solder to the board. The color is changed by polarity. Multicolor RGB LEDs have four leads: one for common, and one for each of red, green, and blue. I can't imagine HTC would include the board traces for it and not include it.

LED Notification Colors

I am still new to this phone.. but i'm trying to find out if the LED light allows for more colors than just Green and Amber ?
I had tried LED Light Manager and it didn't seem to make other colors..
Now that i'm rooted and running Viper ROM.. I see that they only have options for "apps to use amber instead of green"...
so does that mean that is the only color options?
Thanks!

Right.
It's not like the Samsung galaxy phones that use a red, green, and blue led and basically mix the colors to create any color of the rainbow, the HTC's have just an amber or green LED and you have the choice of one or the other or neither

yeah i think that is what i was used too... had the S4, S3 and also the Nexus 5... all had various colors for the LED.
my biggest gripe is i wish it was a larger and brighter LED.. but overall still a wonderful phone.

Led notification colours

Is it only green and orange? How about yellow for Snapchat and blue for fb?

LED Manager works to customise colours, but it's all overridden when you plug in and it's charging, so it's a total waste of time. There's no way to turn off the charging LED. And believe me, I've tried.

I tried using the app such as flash yellow colour when wifi is connected, but when it flash, it's in green colour
I don't think any of the HTC Phones came with a RGB Led indicator.
