Problem with receiving sms from provider KPN (Netherlands)

I have a mobile-contract with KPN (Netherlands). With this contract, i get 75 minutes to call in a month. When i want to know how many minutes are left, i can send a sms with the text 'saldo' to number 1244. A few seconds later, i must a recieve a sms back with the information.
Now, on my XDA i recieve no sms back from my provider with the information. But, when i send the sms with my Nokia 6210, then i recieve immediately a sms back.
I have put some tests on it. When i sent the sms with my Nokia 6210, and i remove the sim-card an put it in the XDA, then i recieve the sms on my XDA. So for some reason, the XDA doesn't send the sms right. Other mobile phones recieve my sms fine, and also other mobile-services are not a problem.
Whats wrong?

Ik heb bij KPN een abonnement lopen waarbij ik zoveel belminuten per maand krijg. Doormiddel van een sms met de tekst 'saldo' naar 1244 te sturen, kan ik informatie krijgen hoeveel minuten ik over heb. Een paar seconden na het verzenden krijg je dan een sms terug.
Het probleem nu is dat ik op mijn XDA geen bericht terug krijg met die informatie. Stuur ik het bericht echter vanaf mijn Nokia 6210, dan krijg ik prompt de sms terug.
Heb ook nog wat testjes gedaan: als ik de sms stuur met de Nokia 6210, en ik haal daarna direct de sim-kaart eruit en stop hem in de XDA, dan komt de sms wel binnen op de XDA.
De sms-centrale bij KPN lijkt dus op de een of andere manier de sms vanaf de XDA niet te begrijpen. Andere mobiele telefoons ontvangen mijn sms prima, en ook het versturen van een sms naar andere mobiele diensten (zoals snelheidscontroles) werken perfect en krijg ik prompt een sms terug.
Wat is hier aan de hand?

There is no Dutch T-Mobile official rom around and your device is probably CID-locked, so you can't repair your device yourself, you have to send it to T-Mobile.
This method will take a few days. They will send you an envelope where you can put your phone in. After 2 days you will receive your phone again, working this time.
Since I guess the topicstarter's English isn't the best around, I'll translate this text in Dutch also:
Er is geen Nederlandse T-Mobile rom beschikbaar om te flashen. Je kunt dus zelf dit probleem niet oplossen, je telefoon is namelijk CID-locked.
Het enige wat je kunt doen is T-Mobile bellen. Zij sturen je dan een envelop waarin je je telefoon kunt opsturen. Na een paar dagen ontvang je hem alweer gerepareerd terug.

heeft iemand z`n eigen toestel al verstuurt naar t-mobile
3 week terug gekocht dus ik zit nog binnen garantie termijn, maar ik heb hem zelf kapot gemaakt (door te rom flashen ) komt er dan geen kosten bij ? ;

Gewoon bellen, zeggen dat ie gek doet en niet meer op start en dan in de envelop opsturen die hun je opsturen. Ik had de mijna na 1,5 uur, JA ECHT ZO SNEL!, al om zeep door een verkeerde flash en gewoon opgestuurd. Tot mijn verbazing had ik hem netjes terug na 5 dagen met verse firmware. 0,0 kosten, super service! Ik had er alleen een paar andere klachten bijgezet die niet zijn behandeld, maar wel echt waren. BT Stereo audio werkt nog steeds niet goed

They won't make a single update to another WM6.1, let alone WM6.5
There are only a handful of people with the S740 in the world, we count nothing to HTC.

yeah, I got also a confirmation that Windows Mobile 6.5 WILL NOT be available for HTC S740. So, no upgrade.
I got the answer in dutch from HTC Netherlands:

But the most prominent question is, Will we get any update for our Beloved S740?????

mine was from the HTC Europe wich has offices in UK..hope HTC will do something for this device if not we will do!!!!

On the HTC-website I saw a new stock ROM-update for the Touch Diamond 2.

Een geactualiseerde rom is nu beschikbaar als download voor gebruikers van HTC Touch Diamond2. Net als altijd streeft HTC ernaar haar klanten de best mogelijke mobiele ervaring te bieden.
Instructies voor installatie:
Rom-versie:2.16.172.1
Voordat u verder gaat, bevestigt u dat deze softwareüpgrade een nieuwere versie is dan wat momenteel op het toestel is geïnstalleerd. Als het dezelfde versie is en uw toestel functioneert normaal, is het niet nodig de software opnieuw te installeren.

My ROM is 2.16.404.1 (67041) NLD. The one from the website is:2.16.172.1 Is that a newer version?

x.16.x.x denotes the version
x.x.404.x denotes the area
Your ROM is as current but there is an 'offical' ROM as yet unreleased by HTC floating around here on XDA and HTCPedia series x.53.x.x tried by quite a few people here with mixed response. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636045

I believe you will need HARD SPL to flash your phone if you are trying to use one from a different country but not otherwise.

You have to go to HTC's site and enter your S/N, it will point you to your stock ROM for your region (if available), then you would NOT need to flash HSPL.

I understand that. Just want to know if I must flash my device with using a pfficial dutch ROM from htcpedia.com with manila 2.5.

Hey guys !
I'm looking for the Stock ROM for Belgium(europe), where can I find this I want to go back to stock bcz I will probably gonna sell my device.
I did find something but I don't see my country except Luxembourg but I don't know I can use this as stock bcz I'm from Belgium.

there is no belgium CSC, firmware for I9505, connect to kies and see the last 3 letters under firmware info.
any way you can flash any European stock firmware

ben ook van belgië. zit ook al even achter een belgisch stock rom te zoeken.
heb er nog steeds geen gevonden heb hetzelfde toestel. ma ik heb er eentje met
miserie had een poging gedaan de s6 software op men toestel te zetten. (begon rooten na enige toestellen simpel te vinden )
maar die poging is mislukt. had de nieuwe modem (baseband versie) en een bootloader erop geflasht en sindsdien krijg ik men wifi
en hotspot niet meer in werking. krijg ook continu een beveiligingsmelding (onbevoegde acties gedecteerd. start apparaat opnieuw op
om onbevoegde wijzigingen ongedaan te maken)
vandaar dat ik dus opzoek ben achter een belgisch romke
maar heb er dus geen gevonden. kga die van nederland eens proberen.
ik zie wel wat het geeft. en anders een andere downloaden
als ik het niet vergeet zal ik laten weten of alles gelukt is

To answer your question as to which ROM to use, you need to answer the following questions.
1. Model Number
2. Android Version, found by going to Settings > More > About device.
3. Firmware Version (AP, CP, CSC), found by dialing *#1234# in the dialer or by installing Phone Info from the Play Store and running it.
4. Service Provider
5. Country
6. Is the phone rooted? (Yes/No)
7. Is a custom ROM installed? (Yes/No, and the name of the ROM)
