The problem is that the ROM you flashed doesn't include the dbdata.rfs file. You will be able to extract one from the JM6 ROM from Samfirmware or from the JMG package I put together, here's a link to the post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10892253&postcount=305 You can flash dbdata.rfs directly to your Tab as it is now with Heimdall or otherwise you'll need to flash a ROM package like my JMG one that contains dbdata.rfs with Odin.

Hi everyone! I'm new here, please don't shout at me!
Basically, I've been rooting and installing recoveries images all night. But I've run into a problem. I was going to flash to the Super-Hybrid HD-Desire ROM by MicroMod777 (link to thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=784260) but it won't install, and now won't boot past the Nexus colour logo with the unlock bootloader padlock symbol at the botom. Here is what I did to get to this stage:
Followed these guides: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Nexus_One:_Full_Update_Guide
http://androidandme.com/2010/01/hacks/video-how-to-unlock-and-root-a-nexus-one/
I then downloaded said ROM and put it in my SD card like it said, and booted into ClockWork from ROM Manager. I tried to flash it, but it didn't work, coming up with this error:
E:Can't mount/dev/block/mmcblk0p2
(File exists)

E:Can't mount/dev/block/mmcblk0p2

E:Can't mount SDEXT:
E:Failure at line 24:

Installation aborted.
I then did a factory wipe, and that didn't work, so I wiped the cache partitions. Nothing worked, always the same error. I also did a restore before I tried to flash for the first time, I've tried to restore that, but it doesn't work either; it also says that it can't mount SD-EXT, but I don't know if this is the error.
I can still get into the bootloader (trackball + power buton) and get to recovery through there, and I saw someone say in a thread here that if you can get into the bootloader it is basically impossible to be bricked. The phone will also not mount when I connect it to the PC, however the PC knows it's there, as I can see the phone, and on fastboot's menu it says 'fastboot usb'.
I hope some of you guys can help me! I really do love my phone, I need it ASAP! Ideally, I'd get onto the ROM I mentioned above, but restoring it to factory settings would also be perfect. Whatever is easier!
Thanks

EDIT: I realised I posted this in the wrong section. It's not in Q/A section, at this link. A mod can delete this topic if needed.
I am cross posting this as its a New firmware.
Original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=802771
It is firmware OMJL6
I did flash this to my SC-02B and it does work, I flashed via Hiemdall and Odin, both work, the rom is sharp, and felt rather quick without lagfix...
I will warn you... DO NOT FLASH A PIT FILE AND RE PARTITION... All Pit files I have found have not worked... I have found a "SC-02B" Pit file, it gets much farther than the others, as in it does not fail, but fails once it gets to the recovery,
Code:
-- Movi_check Start..!!
checksum confirmation need_checksum[0]
Not need checksum confirmation
-- Movi_check already executed!!..
-- movi_checking done!...
update media, please wait

I have not been able to find an OMJJ1 rom for the pit file i found, and i have been unable to find a pit file that works with OMJL6...
Soooo.... Its back to google... or if anyone has any ideas...
I will also make a note that OMJL6 has kernel included so you really don't need the stock one.... but it also does work if you just want to use it instead...
Playing with OMJL6 - z4root does not work... Super One Click however does... I read that z4mod does work... but I could not get it to work... which led me to flashing more aventuriously and flashing a pit that then led to the point I am at now... which is - at a loss for correct files -
Hi all,
Currently running Rom kitchen 2.2 (JVB based), along with fugumod 3.7 normal kernel, and armani modem.
Recently, every time i boot into recovery i get the following lines:
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
I can use all the functionality of the CWM interface, flashed other roms since etc, and it all works fine. I just get these messages - frustrating.
Im fairly sure they have only been present since flashing to 2.3.3 roms.
Any help as to how i can fix this?
(done a search, can't find anything useful)
Ali
I have the same error as you do. Can't restore any backups via CWM on top of that the USB storage mounting doesnt work properly any more. I can mount but windows just hangs when trying to access the internal or external SD.
Any help would be nice! Running Gingerbread too.
Same error here. running Juwes 4.3.1 with fugumod 3.8
I am not 100% sure... but it may be a kernel mismatch with the ROM you are using? Try changing to the Rom suggested Kernel and see if it fixes the issue...
Sounds like what happen to me last week.
check out my thread, hope it helps !

Thanks guys.
Fixed mine by flashing 2.2.1 Rom using PIT file and re-partition via Odin.

You must activate the "USB Depuration" then reboot the phone in download mode and flah it (you need the pit 512 and the rom), try it and coment

i try but still same problem
Hi,
i'm pretty new to this and i have kinda big problem. I had MIUI 7 rom installed on my S4 I9505, but yesterday after the update phone wont boot. I downloaded new .zip file, put it on SD card, boot into recovery, wipe everything and tried to install new rom. With no succes. I tried 3 differrent roms, i even tried with diffirent recovery, still nothing.
This is what it says:
Installing: /storage/sdcar1/cm-12.1-20151106-NIGHTLY-jfltexx.zip
Finding update package
Opening update package
Installing update
detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/system
mount: failed to mount /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/system at /system: Invalid argument
unmount of /system failed: no such volume
detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by_name/userdata
Patching system image unconditionally...
And that's it. Previosly i was getting errors, status 0 and status 7 if i remmember correctly, but now not even that
Now what to do? Please be noob friendly At this point i don't even care any more what rom to install, stock or custom, but i think i would prefer stock.
Thanks for your help!
Edit: I found this guide, will it do it? forums.androidcentral.com/ambassador-guides-tips-how-s/499009-guide-samsung-how-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html
It worked. Admin, you can close/delete this thread.
