I just flashed by HD2 with a NAND Andoid ROM, i followed the instructions below.

Everything works fine, regular calls, wifi but cannot get my data connection to work.
Am i missing something, any help would be very appreaciated?

Firstly you should have posted this in the Andriod sections, and it is most probably you do not have APN setup, i recommend you search on google: "your providers APN information for Andriod" usually will pull up what you need.

hi there this is my first post.
can any help me here im going out of my mind.
before i flashed my phone everthing worked great.
flashed the phone to lots of different cooked roms but al is same.
phone workes great with cooked rom but 1 big problem.
everytime i try to connect to the internet is says.
there is a problem to the gprs service in your registered home network.
im on vodaphone and i get 500 me data service a month.
i tried putting in settings but can access the net.
can any1 help me thx in responce
Looks like you will have to flash a radio rom too.
Look in the HD2 rom development section. The radio roms thread should be stickied near the top of trhe first page.

I've tryed all the mms combinations i can and nothing worked,
Is there anything percise as to which i can use for my send and receiving to be successful. ( Including the ones i found on the forum) They Keep changing.

Nothing works. I can only send to my self and nobody else.

Go into Apn settings and change port to 8080 that worked for me on my tmobile usa hd2

Ive tried every single setting on there, Unsuccessful.
thats what you get because the answer is in the general threads.....thats crazy you would rather keep this up then go look over there

I have try this week to install differents builds on my hd2 and i have problem with data connection.
I have try shubcraft rom, darkstone V2 and mattc last build and each time i have the same problem
Using the ppp version: the 3G icon appear but don't obtain any connnection. The arrows aren't moving at all.
Using the Rmnet version: no icon, no connection.
I was (and still) using shubcraft 1.4a (I think), no problem with internet. The bug appear with newer version.
As of WM I'm using ChuckyDroidROM and Radio 2.10.50.26.
I'm sorry to post a thread for this subject but I m searching for about 2 hours on forum and the only thing i have found it's other post of people encountring the same problem without any help.

Anyway, i have found the solution:

Firstly, what I suggest is go to setting> WIRELESS&NETWORKS > MOBILE NETWORKS > then, check whether the DATA ENABLED already tick or not(if not,just tick it)...
Second,in case the first step not working even after you ticked it...then now you go back to the MOBILE NETWORKS again...choose ACCESS POINT NAMES...and then make sure you choose the correct access point(which must be the same name with the one when you using WINMO)...

Hi, again, I just install DFT NAND Android 2.2 on my HD2 and it works great, but i have a data plan with T-mobile USA, wich means that I have Internet on my SIM card, and I can't make it work, could anybody give de instructions to fix this,

Update your APN settings, google for instructions: there's plenty to find!
I just flashed to wp7 and can receive and send texts but i am unable to establish a data connection. would this be a problem with the radio I flashed. I have a US hd2 and may have originally flashed a no us one at first but i have since flashed a US version but the data connection is still missing. Any help would be appreciated
RUn the HTC connection setup XAP
or manually add your APN settings found in the cellular section under settings
Htc connection setup can be found in marketplace, access through wifi, install and run

Sorry I can not help you get your data working but i just wanted to tell you something. you did not install a nonTMOUS radio I am sure of this because if you would have flashed a non TMOUS radio you would have a bricked HD2 right now.
i wonder if he does have a 1024 version of the HD2, you can get a US version with 512, if he did have a 1024 version and did flash a non TMOUS radio it would be shagged, so yeah....your right
