No, not yet.
Just press and hold a and o to get å,ä and ö.
I'm also very interested in this... please post when it appears
There is a keyboard with swedish layout out there, I'm using it atm. The only issue I can see is that you have to "scroll" sideways to get the special letters. It's kinda the same thing as pressing and holding the letters. If you want to try it; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=917886

it's possible to create your own skin for fingerkeyboard, so you should be able to switch some keys...

Try this, it will give you åäö on the standard htc hd2 keyboard. If it doesn't work at first read the hole thread and get the nordic_xt9 cab that's in there somewhere.

Hope it helps. (you will loose t9 but gain åäö)

The normal keyboard has. You need to press and hold 'o' when you need 'ö'
and 'a' when you need å and ä.
OR you can install touchpal keyboard

Anyone knows how i could do a @ with the keys of the samsung keyboard ECR-K10D?
It doesnt have a key for it and i dont know any keyboard combination?
Thx for answer ... and @samsung ... what do u think, that people dont need the @? Lol
J.
I can't say for the QWERTZ keyboard, but on the UK QWERTY keyboard @ is pretty much in the same position as it is on my laptop - just above and slightly to the left of the right hand shift key.
Regards,
Dave
Hmm, i will send a photo. Could it be, that the qwertz keyboard doesnt have this key? ok, if this stupid thing is reality. .. is there any app in the market, which let me change the keys on the samsung ecr-k10d keyboard?
I will attach a photo of my qwertz-version of the keyboard.
thx for more answers.
sincerly daJhoony
Where is @ on your "soft" QWERTZ keyboard?
Regards,
Dave
I have to hold the ".,?" key, to get the small popup windows with a @ in it. Or the "123" button opens a small popup, with the @ inside.
Any ideas?
When all else fails, read the manual.
@Paten ... verry funny hint. I allready read it, before i post anything. So, is there way to change the assignments of the keyboard?
Thx
Have you tried holding shift while hitting every key to see if one is the @ symbol? If shift doesn't work, try ctrl and alt as well.
Hm, no way. I've tried every combination, every key with Shift and CTRL. The keyboard dont have an alt-key. It looks, like samsung got a big plan, what comes after the internet...
or the hole qwertz-team is a gang of idiots...
Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk
well before thrashing on samsung and the team, its already weird enough on QWERTZ using pop up to get the @
how bout your original QWERTZ keyboard on computer maybe, how to get the @?
or maybe you can ask samsung center directly who sells it, and they can ask their technician to give you the proper answer
I got the UK version today and it has the @ button.
What a fantastic keyboard btw !!
Glad i read this topic

For me using the QWERTY Keyboard from Samsung the SHIFT-2 (like a normal US keyboard and how it's labeled on the samsung keyboard) gives me a double qoute (")... So I tried using the SHIFT-" (double quote key) and it gives you the @ key that you are looking for.
So it looks like the keys are reversed.

Yeah, my bad. Sorry. Are you sure that you're changing setting for a keyboard you're using? Because I changed settings in my htc_ime and I'm perfectly capable of making that 'c' of yours with long press on c key...

Hello to all,
I have a leather case with USB-keyboard.
Normal language is GERMAN
Keyboard layout is ENGLISH
Is there any chance to get german letters like ß ÄÖÜ öäü while typing on the keyboard.
When I bougth it, I thought when pressing long on the S key I will have ß or on O it will be Ö like on the screen keyboard. But it is not as beleived.
Does anyone of you knows a solution for this?
Is there a possibility like in Windows with ALT+keycode or anything else?
Thanks a lot in advance
Rainer

Have you tried going into the system settings, and change everything to German concerning keyboard input?
Android doesn't really recognize Windows keyboard shortcuts.

I use External Keyboard Helper Pro from Google Play to change layout for my external keyboard.

Hello to all
I have found the solution for my keyboard problem.
Alt s = ß
Alt u makes the dots for öäüÄÖÜ
First you type alt u for the dots and then the letter!
Alt u U = Ü and so on
Thanks to all
Rainer
