Is there an app or any other way to make free international calls? The person I'm trying to call doesn't have a smartphone and can't get voip apps. They're using a prepaid phone.
Thanks

It depends on what you are looking for (i.e. only outgoing calls or also incoming calls) and which country you are at.

OK we don't get to do or receive calls on this tab! But reading abt other tabs having gsm but no call feature are getting incoming calls or notification!
By this I would like to bring into developers attentions and if ny source we could work over it!

I am able to send and receive voice calls on my Wi-Fi only GTab 10.1 using a combination of GrooveIP and Google Voice. Quite a slick little solution.

TexTab offers this! Obviously from the name it allows you to send and receive texts on the tab too. Works quite well although occasionally I can't get my Galaxy Nexus to talk to the tab and it's quite rare that I can connect to the Nexus via the Tab, I usually have to do it the other way round but that's no biggie.
I just want to know who iz calling me

Google Voice is free. Not sure on the app, might be GrooveIP Lite.
If you can connect to wifi then you're good. No voice/data plan? Good for flashing.
Still Charged Up
You can get the 30 dollar T-Mobile plan for 5GB of data and use the GV app and use Sipdroid for phone calls. It doesn't work too good over edge (unless you get good signal) so make sure you get 3g.

Not to sound rude or anything but there's this cool thing called a search engine, maybe you've heard of it. You can use it to find basic to advanced information, such as the answers to literally all of your questions in this thread.

Basically you make phone calls over data.
I am so on my last nerve with these robo dialers trying to sell me viagra and fix my credit.
I am about to change my number. The only reason I haven't is because of all the people I will have to notify if I do.
I am running 4.4.2 stock. Is there anything that will work well? I don't care if I have to pay.
I searched and only found a thread from 2012. Sorry if I didn't search thoroughly enough.
No but there is a call reject option in the call settings

Any way to NOT send them to voicemail? Just hang up?
I'm half tempted to find a recording of the tones for a disconnected number and make that my voicemail message for a while, if not.
Any suggestions on a better phone app?
The stock app doesn't manage conference calls well or call waiting well.
. I use 3 way alot but it's impossible with this phone.
