i want this nand rom please !!! - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

hi
i want nand rom support arabic
speed and performance
auto installing apps on external stroge
battery live
please !!!

People don't make custom ROMs by request. Find the one that's nearest to what you want (by reading the info in the ROM's thread) and install it. Then, do the rest of the work to get it to where you want it. If it's a CWM ROM then you can make a ROM backup of it and you've got what you asked for.

this NAND RON supports Arabic & Hebrew fonts based on the Desier Z
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913597
and this one also support Arabi & Hebrew (Android 2.3.2 - no sense is faster)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...um.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877777
the support is fonts only not MUI and no Keybord

i use the second one
enjoy

i had the exact same problem with all SQUASHED builds !!
these ROMS use a program called squashfs to compress the system file to fit on 512 MB ROM EU LEO
all Desire HD builds are huge and take a lot of space so that is why the use this compression method !! or you wouldn't even have Desire HD builds on 512 EU LEO
now that you know what Squashfs is !!
it time you know the side effects !!
it makes the Squashed part of the system READ ONLY !!
so what that means is that you can't edit, modify or delete any of the files inside it !!
and to get Arabic support you have to modify some of "LIB" files inside the system partition ..
now if you want to do this you have to use linux to unpack the Squashed.sqsh and modify it with Arabic support and then resquash it ..
i already asked here on the forums and got many answers but none of them worked for me .. you can check my question thread here
best of luck to you

I'm using cm7_tom_v2 2.3.2. there's arabic (egypt) in locale settings while the system could not be configured into arabic. but arabic can be typed and shown well on my device with ibrahim keyboard downloaded for the market. before flashing my device to 2.3.2 i was using sense 2.19, i required for help from the official site and they suggested downloading "customlocale.apk" in market. the arabic could be typed but could not be shown with the same settings which i use now. considering other performances of rom i prefer cm7 and i recommend it to you.
this is work for arabic keyboard ??? my device htc hero
Try nightly builds from CyanogenMod 7, I see it has arabic keyboard support.

[Q] Flashing updates into SD Android

Hello All,
Is there a way to flash zipped files into Android 2.2 installed on HD Mini SD, I would like to know a possible way other than going into the non existing recovery mode to insert files related to Arabic characters supported and I have been guided to ask in the developers section
thank u
Look, The Process is in development... so there isn't flashing updates here right now.
but it seems that you need Arabic Android support, you should try Cyanogen's Android and this can write arabic:
http://www.multiupload.com/EHMFK42U2U
thx a lot mate, i tried it and its working fine, although i preferred the FroYo interface but this one does the job
There is no CWM in SD builds. And its pretty pointless because you can add and modify the files from Wimo or PC in opposed to NAND roms
very true codiak, but the issue is that i am a normal user, i dont know how to add the files i needed to the SD build
just wait for the Nand ROM... i think project will complete soon,
then you can do what you want
crossing fingers and waiting
