Swype at present has only been written for WM 6.5 and Android... we will just have to wait for a WP7 one.. as WP7 has totally different requirements..

HTC HD2 keyboard cab?

hello, First and foremost, I would say that I have searched and searched but I have not found anything. I might not have searched well enough, but I have tried at least!
I want the htc hd 2 keyboard on my htc hd. Is there a cab file with the new keyboard all the chef uses on the new ROMs? if you understand. i want the original, not a UI that look like the new keyboard.
I'm also looking for the HD2 keyboard for Blackstone.
Keep looking and priv message me I you find it!
i do not know the hd2 keyboard, but if you are interested i am using the resco keyboard, i have used many keyboards but none like the resco. the only downside is that it is not free, but at least they have a 30 day trial version.
yeah, have heard about Resco, but i want the original hd2 keyboard, no 3.parts.
anyway thanks for trying

WP7 downgrate to wm6.5 ??

Is it possibile to downgrate Phone with mp7 (like HTC trophy) to WM 6.X ??
I also like that, windows 7 sucks
You guys kinda bought the wrong phone then huh?
You guys are kidding right?
what ever you think, i'm just asking.. i'm just wonder is it possible to do somthing like that.
Most likly not, this would be due to drivers not written for the hardware in windows 6.5. How people have got around this in the past is to find hardware from other phones that have run the OS you are after and porting the drivers into a package you can use on your phone, there isn't really any other phone of this type that has run windows 6.5 hence my answer.
Why do you find 6.5 better than 7, is it more software, more hacks, better interface?
Personally I find I can't do much on Windows 7 at the moment but also understand the market needs to be built, the amount of settings is very limited but that is more of a mindset.
for me wp7 is ok, not so much softwere - no problem. The most important thing for me is my broker soft, it's writen for .Net compact and i can't run it on wp7 :/
I agree,
It is really that all the apps that I had on the WM6.5 and used to no longer work with WP7. I understand that this is a new OS, but still I will agree with the people at the top. I was a little hasty in purchasing it, and in hindsight, I should not have.
Another way, if drivers are an issue, is has anyone ever tried to flash a Trophy with an Android rom, or is this completely insane?
Wp7 device HTC 7 Mozart

Sense Keyboard on HyperDroid

Hi all
Sorry for the english i'm a french ( newbie )
Is it possible to have the HTC SENSE keyboard on the HyperDroid ROM ( Last version 12/04/11 ) ?
Thank you in advance
I have tried all kind of keyboards, but maybe you didn't know this. SlideIt from the Market, you don't type you just slide along the letter which make typing obsolete. It's like Swype if you ever heard of it. Anyone that use SlideIt or Swype never gone back to any regular keyboard. It's a paid app, but 100% worth it.
I have tried Swype..... and I hate this kind of Keyboard !!
Sorry Capt.PP, thank you anyway for your answer
Should be found XDA developer who has found a way to put the Android HTC Sense keyboard on a no sense ROM ... =D
Fingers crossed!

[Q] How to install WM6.5 on a WM 7 Device ?!!!

Hi Everybody !
you all know how strange it might be some requests form your boss but this is the most strange one !
My Boss has a system that work on WM 6.5 only and doesn't work on WM 7 and he requested that I should Provide him with 40 New WM 6.5 devices !
you know that they are not available currently So I figured out that I should buy new WM 7 Devices and Flash it Back to WM 6.5 !
I think theoretically this is possible but have anyone tried it ?!!!
I want to Try it on HTC 7 pro Device , Could anyone tell me wha the steps I need to do that ?
any other suggested Devices ? I only want it to be New ,with QWERTY keypad and I can install WM 6.5 on it !
Thank you all in Advance.
Your only choice may be a new 6.5 device, and not much else. The HTC HD2 is still available, here in the UK, it is now the only 6.5 device stocked by Expansys on their web site.
How much longer will they be around? What's HTC's roadmap for the WinMo HD2?
Flashing 6.5 over a Phone 7 device, is asking for an expensive error.

I know that HD2 is the Only WM 6.5 device that still Availble but the problem is that HD2 Doesn't have a QWERTY keypad and the system required a lot of Typing.

[Q] About: Keyboard

Hello guys.
I want to start by saying that I'm a real newbie when it comes to phones; I have absolutely no knowledge concering them.
I just bought a real nice (and cheap) HTC Elf (Model nr. HTC_P3450 or ELF0100, I dunno which one is the real model nr.), installed with Windows Mobile 6 Professional. Its current version is: CE OS 5.2.1238 (Build 17745.0.2.3)
Now, to the question:
How do I install another keyboard? The one I have right now is rubbish and I am forced to use a stylus in order to write comfortably.
I need a complete step-by-step tutorial on how to download, install it and apply it. Oh and one more thing, I don't have an USB cable, so I am forced to do everything from the phone (Yes, I have internet and I am using Opera Mini 10).
I haven't installed anything on the phone expect for Opera and some other keyboard layouts (that I uninstalled later)
Before anyone rages, I just want to let you guys know that I have searched for different tutorials. But really I find it all confusing, especially this forum for how big it is. I have even tried to download and install many different keyboard layouts (ex. Unofficial Touch PhonePad (+VGA) and vibrate dialpad), but they just don't seem to work (I'm sure that I'm doing it wrong).
Thanks in advance!
Try this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501434&highlight=Fingerkeyboard , use the QVGA version only.
