I have a T-mobile with unlimited everything also have an ATT with unlimited everything I would like to use my tab as a phone with one of my acounts.
Thank You
What is your question?
sorry for my bad inglish
should i get t-mobile galaxy tab or att , thank you
The AT&T Tab is released in the US tomorrow, Sunday 11/21/2010.
I don't know if anyone has one yet and was able to make calls on the device.
I also don't know if you can take a regular AT&T SIM and insert it in the Galaxy Tab.
It's a mystery.

It does take a SIM card. The 360 degree view on AT&T website shows the slot is there. Just not yet sure if it is a standard or micro SIM card slot. But, I am 99.99% sure it is a standard SIM card slot. Haven't heard of Samsung using the micro on the device yet.
It is a standard size SIM. I was able to use my SIM out of my Nexus One

I read this article about cracking open a Sprint Galaxy Tab over at techrepublic (sorry - !'m not allowed to post links...)
The Sprint version of the Tab doesn't have a slot for a SIM card since it's CDMA. But is the hardware completely different from the SIM versions? Is there a SIM reader inside the Sprint Tab, so that one could crack it open and insert the SIM card (and install new firmware/unlock the unit)??
I'm very interested as my Sprint Tab cannot go on 3G abroad.
Thanks!
Not gonna happen,Sprint tab has cdma radio which is different from GSM. Cdma devices don't use sim cards period.

Im sure the phone boots on the stock rom without a sim card. Wifi usually gives you better speeds than tmos hsdap for now.
If you really need a sim card you can always buy a cheap prepaid tmobile phone at walmart or wherever and take the prepaid sim from the phone and put in your mytouch 4g. All will be well, sir
Honestly, you don't need a sim card to mess around with the phone. You can access the stock rom without a sim card and use wifi for your data. If you want to be able to place calls or text, you can walk into a t mobile store and ask to setup a prepaid account. If they ask you what phone, just say you already have a GSM phone. That'll be about 20 bucks a month. If you have att as your carrier, then you can unlock the mytouch and stick your att sim card in it.

Metro PCS uses CDMA phones so you wouldn't even be able to use it with that carrier.

is there going to be an international version of this phone ? i'd love to get one but ordering from the US to use in saudi arabia entails the risk of getting a -very nice- paperweight.
i mailed sharp but so far no reply.
You can think of it as a cheaper and cooler iPod Touch.
Some of the pictures show it has a nanoSIM slot, despite being a CDMA phone. Anyone knows if it works on GSM networks?
If anything, the SIM card is for LTE.
I have the LG Optimus F3 on Virgin and it has a micro SIM card. There was a card included in the instructions that said it has something to do with LTE and is necessary to put it. I don't have it with me, or at all, to post what is exactly says.
It must be a recent thing since I owned the Galaxy Victory (****ty phone compared to the F3) for a year before the F3 and it did not have a SIM slot of any sort.
My sister owns the LG Volt on Virgin and it too has a SIM card.
Nope, tested, the nano sim slot doesnt recognise gsm sim cards, and being CDMA devices, the models from the US carriers are unusable in Europe. The only model that might be available for usage in the near future is the one from Softbank (Tokyo) which is a GSM model, but unfortunately no one has a clue if or when there will be available unlock or root at this point. Looking forward to get my hands on one thou
did someone try the cdma usim card ? will it work?
Kwell since no gsm how do we get this thing into diag for flashing to pageplus

Hello friends,
I have been with Verizon's note 3 for a solid three years. I love the phone personally but, I hate the services they provide. Now I have rooted and unlocked my phone. my only problem is i want to swap services. I have now metro pcs and was wondering if there is a way to put that sim card in the note 3. If it helps i have pictures as well but, the sim card for the metro pcs is a little smaller than the verizon sim card. Their both the micro as well

Ask Metro to give you the right sized SIM or there are adapters such as these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/272291347579
That allow you to use a nano sim in a micro sim slot.
