HTC provides a Sense service (htcsense.com) for the HTC Desire HD/Z.
Is any of you using this service on your Android HTC HD2?
I'm worried HTC will collect some sort of info and detect my phone isn't a genuine Desire HD/Z, because in the future (when I actually will buy a HD/Z or whatever) I would still be able to use that account.
So.. Did any of you create an account at htcsense.com and using it without any problems on your Android HTC HD2?

another quation
whats best hd2 or hd mini
thank you alot
If your real target is Android OS, might as well go for Aria, instead of HD mini. Aria is the exact twin of HD mini, in Android version.
As for HD2, go get EVO 4G instead. They're both the same bananas. Except for the different OS, and some minor modifications.
I have seen that the new Desire HD has a very nice hTC eReader app similar to the HD2 winmo eReader app. The only reason I keep on going to winmo these days is to use the beautiful ereader coz I dont dig the FBreader and other generic android readers.
Is it possible to extract the ereader from the Desire HD rom for use with other preferred android roms for HD2. I know the app is not fuly working even with the Desire HD beta rom for HD2 but I am hoping interested modders can take a more keen interest in it. Thx
I saw a post on twitter that HTCSense.com was now also supporting the Incredible. However, when I tried to create an account, only Desire Z and Desire HD were the choices of supported devices.
Has anyone had a different experience or been able to use it on their Dinc? If so, how did you do it?
Thank you in advance.
same thing on mine. was the twitter post from htc or some random person?
I would guess the twitter was by someone running a Desire HD rom. I have been using IncDoes HD rom and am able to use htcsense.com although not all features are working yet.
If you are running a port like the HD Desire port you can make an account saying you have a desire phone and it worked for me this way.
Ya I also had created an account on one of the roms I was messing with last week, but loaded uncommon sense so now its gone. But it has some cool features like remote wipe/lock. GPS phone tracker and you can send sms from the HTC site.
thats because uncommon sense doesnt use the new HD sense port. u have to be using a ported rom of the new sense for HTCsense.com to work....
I wonder if anyone is working on a working Desire HD eReader application for HD2Desire Hd rom ports for HD2. It is just about the only goodie from the Desire HD rom that does not work with HD2. Yet it is an application I love to death going by what the eReader has to offer in the Winmo side of the HD2. Sometimes I am forced to boot into winmo side just to use this app.
I know I can use other ereader apps available in the Market including FB Reader but I know for sure I desire to have a working eReader app with my Desire Hd rom - I am currently using MDJ Revolution themed HD 1.2 rom....
So now I would wish to start this BOUNTY thread hoping that the bounty might entice more modders/devs to please get us the HTC eReader working.
20 US Dollars from me for whoever cracks this and gives us a working HTC eReader app for Android HD2.......
i want to know that can we make receive call form android on htc hd2 and also want to know that can we paly all 3d games which are for android phone on htc hd2 android
and will every android games and software will work on htc hd2 android???
Yes,you can
That depends on many factors I is it gingerbread or later versions of android. Does the app support the version of android? Still a few out there that don't. But if you run into that simply email the developer and ask if it is supported and if not when.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Android on HD2 has every function, that other phones have (except Honeycomb, but it's for tablets).
Hardware of HD2 is the same as HTC Desire/Nexus One. If a game runs good on these phones so it will on HD2.
