I'm trying to find a simple widget that simply displays a text box with user selectable fonts/size/colour..etc and allows for a clear background.
I've found a few, but I need something that allows for really large font sizes (i.e. 100pt) I plan on using it as a title for each homescreen.
The closest app I found is called Text Widget Donate but the largest size is 56pt.
I've tried nearly every text app i can find. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This is my first post and hopefully it raises an interesting issue.
I am partially sighted and have just got an XDA II. I really like it but I find some of the fonts in some of the applications to be rather small. I know about increasing Font size in Contacts/Calendars/Tasks etc. but I'm thinking more on the SMS/Email inboxes and on the Today screen.
In comparison I have used an SPV E200 which has accessability features available from the Settings menu. I had a large font homescreen set abd large fonts were used throughout the system - it made reading SMS's a breeze.
Is there a awy of increasing the font size througfht out all the applications as the smartphone seems to allow.
At a bare minimum I want to be able to create and read sms and emails using a larger font.
If the system font cannot be increased in these applications, has any one got suggestions for PPC PE applications that I can download and use.
I look forward to the responses.
Regards,
Mike
Yeah you can change everything, font sizes, colors,,, everything..
Download Nyditot Virtual Display (http://www.nyditot.com)
It has an appearance option much like the one in Windows 2000/XP
What is the setting for in "personilize/FONT"?
I can change there the size but i do not see any effect in the user interface.
how can i make the fonts of the user interface bigger?
Open a word document, type something, look at the font size.
Now close it, change the font settings, reopen the word document, voila! changed. Most things have their font set by the application, (i.e manilla) so they ignore the system font settings.
mostly in wm apps i.e open wm contacts, email etc.
thnaks. i'd like to have a bigger font for the user interface SENSE, also for contacts, sms writing and everything that's possible.
with "personalize/font" no one of those given changes at all on my hd2.
Can i change the font of manila somewhere? i do not see where. it'd be great to give me a hint on that
I am using a ROM which I mostly like (Elegancia) but on the email tab, the preview layout style is set so that the header section background is dark black while the body section is white. This makes reading the sender name and subject very difficult since the text is dark grey or blue against black.
Is there any way or utility to change the style of this email preview tab, so that the header section background is also white like the body, as I've seen in other ROMs (like Energy) ? Or alternatively, any way to set the style back to the HTC default of just regular text against the wallpaper background, with no little rectangle?
Can either of these things be done either with a configuration utility or through the resigtry, without having to change ROMs?
Please help, thanks...!

Hi there.
I am trying to create a widget that displays some text that is updated from tasker. I would like the text to be colored by some logic defined in tasker. So in tasker I have a variable %Text1 that contains the following "[c=#FFAAAA]Mytext[/c]".
I have a task that updates my rich text box with the text above: Zooper Widget Pro Variable: Configuration #TTEXT1# = %Text1
Now I expected to see a pink "Mytext" in my widget but instead I see "[c=#FFAAAA]Mytext[/c]".
If I copy the text manually into Zooper Widget, it displays correctly.
What am I doing wrong?
Regards, Jesper.
Try to use c=#ffffaaaa or c=ffffaaaa sometimes zooper acts very strange if there is no alpha.
Thanks for your reply, sadly it didnĀ“t seem to make any difference..
It seems like Zooper only parses the text fields once, so any codes from tasker are not parsed. That meant I had to split up my text into several text boxes and use advanced parameters for coloring.
