But ther is also a special site for your phone
(mylgcookie type it in google)
Have a look there the you will find every hack that is possible on a lg cookie

Hi guys,
I bought a Desire a week ago. I love Android but I dont like HTC Sense at all. Specially HTC's apps. I have something what I dont want to have, as a Peep, Weather or mainly Dialer, Contacts and Calendar.
I was looking for default apps on clear Android and I didnt find them. Cos HTC's apps are not as fast as the rest of system. I like the idea of simplicity which Android represents.
So, is there some way hot to get Nexus One ROM into Desire? Is that possible, or it's question of time only? Or may you give me a hint where I can find the default apps?

What do you expect? You can be happy when it's booting. You can feel very lucky when you can play around a bit. If you do not need to make phone calls with your phone, try it ...

as far as I can tell there is absolutely no point in honeycomb for G1
honeycomb is like gingerbread but with extra features for tablets and higher end phones
anyone porting Honeycomb to G1 is just being silly and are most probably not real developers , just winzip fail br0z

I wouldn't condemn anyone trying to port honeycomb onto lower end devices (I can't believe I just called the G1 a lower end device).
Anyway guys like those give guys like us (by the way am in kenya) a chance to get a taste of the real deal cz it might be a while before the zoom and it's cousins get here.
After all it did take 3 years before we could get an android device in our market.
For the developers, or whatever it is you'd like to call them, kudos

So, how did it turnout?
Super slow, the UI is not bad but that's just about it.
Nothing else works. But atleast I now know where to go to launch the apps if I ever get a honeycomb device.

Cause it's my first post here, i want to send you my greetings and compliments for the awesome board.
I'm even searching a wihile for a particular App from LG itself. It's the Application Manager that can be downloaded from the LG World. The problem is that it's for the P970 and not for the P500. I had the opportunity to see it working on a P350, where the App is incorporated in the Android System. I testet a lot of similar products, but i still prefer that one. Is there some P970-Owner that can download it for me, or maybe some P350-User that can extract it from his Smartphone?

hi everyone i was just curious if there is a way to get touchwiz on my G2. i came from a note 2 and regret letting it go as i loved it dearly. and i bought the lg g2 and miss the touchwiz.
can someone please help me figure out how to port.
i tried using a tutorial but alot of the files i need to move from a base to the port wernt there. any help would be great
