Just saw a commercial for 10 dollar 4g plan. Anyone know what that plan is? Is it a lower data cap or is it just a "free" sample kind of deal?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Its going to replace the current 15 dollar plan its 200 mb if you go over it .10 per mb with a 30 dollar overage cap. So if you used a ton you would end up paying 40 in total. So I would start with the unlimated for one month see how much you use. If under 200 mb just do the 10 I don't think its out yet though.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
its out but with 3000 min plan
On t-mobile, new customers receive the 10 dollar 200mb option. Existing customers must switch to the promo version if the even more plans (even if they are on an even more plan currently). This promo plan is the only version available to new customers.
For existing customers I call the 200mb feature the 15 dollar web because that is how much it costs if you don't change to the newer plans.
Switching to the 10 dollar web plans does extend the contract on ALL lines on your account but doesn't affect your upgrade dates.
The best plan in my opinion is the 4g do more 3000 min promo plan for 149.99. 3k minutes, unlimited text for the family, and unlimited 4g web for 2 phones. Additional lines are only 5 bucks to share minutes. I've been off since sunday but I'm pretty sure this 3k plan is still available. On this 3k promo plan unlimited 4g web is only 20 dollars per line including additional lines.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Also.. This 3k plan does require at least 2 phones to have unlimited data.
Also keep on mind.. This isn't very obvious to even sales reps.. But smartphones like the g2 and the mytouch 4g are considered premium smartphones so they do require the unlimited web in order to receive their rebates. The tag says data plan required but t-mobile's internal says that the unlimited feature is required for rebates. This can be very confusing because you are given the option of the 200mb feature on all phones.

I called today and switched two of our five lines to the $10/mo 200mb data plan- my G2 and my boyfriend's Vibrant. We don't live in or near a 4G area (or 3G or Edge for that matter) and since we're mostly on wifi, and don't use much cell data, it made sense and saves us $40/mo. If we do go over, its capped $-wise at what we were paying, so no big deal.
Our contract was not extended, and the rep was very helpful.

You must have already been on the promo version of the even more plan.. How long ago did you start the current plan that you are on? The 10 dollar feature is not offered I the system to previous plans.

The $5 add a line ended on Tuesday....its back to $10 add a line now. The 4G 3k plan is still up and running though.
Feel free to do whatever you want. My advice is stick with the unlimited data plan. The first time you go over your gonna be really really sorry.

we have 5 lines, 750 min even more plan, $15 unlim family texting, unlim data on one line, 200mb on three lines (now) and no data on the last line, family allowances and insurance on three lines.
I plead the case that we don't get 4G or even 3G where we live and use wifi most of the time, which the rep could see from past billing cycles, and it was rather unfair for us to have to pay for something that TMo cannot provide, and that we do not/can not use.
she made the change retro to the beginning of this current billing cycle and was very nice about it.
like I explained before, we have been paying for unlim data on the two lines that were changed, so saving money is a bonus. if we go over, it won't be by much, so no matter what, the bill will always be less than it used to be.
These new plans are to get you off the unl everything and will end up costing you more in the end. Keep up with the two giants and you will see what tmo is doing. Its all compitition. Plans like these are the reason why at&t sit where they are. Number 1 wireless carrier. Vzw has been on at&t's ass for awhile now and with the iphone coming in? Customer base may increase significantly. Give tmo some cool phone and better data and they too can have a good customer base.

Did you sign a two yr contract? If so, you still have one more year left. You may be able to get a partial discount (partial subsidized price) on the SGS-2, but that means you are renewing an additional two years on top of the remaining one year. That is 3 yrs.
I sure as hell wouldn't commit to T-Mobile for 3 yrs just to get that phone.
You can buy it at full retail and wouldn't have to sign a contract, but that would cost you obviously more for the phone.
Why don't you check out ebay for the Sensation 4G, you can pick one up for 300 or so without contract. Or wait a few months and SGS-2 will be on ebay for cheap.
Just don't sign another contract, 3 yrs more with T-Mobile is insane, especially since nobody knows what is going to happen to them.
Another option is to cancel your T-Mobile account. Pay the 200 ETF. Then go to At&t and get the SGS-2 for 149.99 (if you shop around).
This comes out to 349.99.
Also, contrary to popular belief, At&t is actually cheaper than T-mobile. If you compare the current contract plans on At&t to the current contract plans on T-Mobile, you get more for your money on At&t (especially if you are on a Family plan). However, if you are on a grandfathered T-Mobile plan then that might not be the case.
Anyways, deffinately don't sign another T-mobile contract, that is crazy right now.
Edit:
According to Archie53 they don't add an additional 2 yrs on your remaining 1 yr, they just renew from that point on for 2 more yrs.
Thanks for the clarification.
They don't add time onto existing contracts, they just restart the two years. The partial discount is pretty much not worth signing a two year contract , your almost better off just paying full price.

What claims?
The part where I said current At&t contract plans (especially family plans) are cheaper than current contract T-Mobile plans?
Just go to At&t and T-mobile compare the plans side by side. At&t comes out cheaper. At&t gives you unlimited calling to Any mobile on any carrier as long as you get family text messaging. I'm on a grandfathered plan with T-mobile, and if I switch to At&t I would save about 30 bucks a month and get unlimited mobile to mobile on any carrier. The only thing I would lose is my 5gb data cap, compared to 2Gb on At&t. That's ok though, I don't even use the full 2GB, I'm always on wifi wherever I go.

First off, you don't need to be rude. I'm pretty sure I'm more educated than you are.
Secondly, why would I get unlimited talk on At&t when At&t offers rollover and free mobile to mobile on any carrier with the purchase of famly text messaging for 30 bucks or individual for 20 bucks.
With At&t rollover and unlimited mobile to mobile TO ANY CARRIER, you can get one of the cheaper At&t minute plans and save a lot of money, yet still basically have unlimited talk. THAT WAS MY POINT.

Yeah you're right bout the rude part. Sorry.
Everyone's family is different and needs for phones are different...your way is fine as long as your family won't call landlines. Mine tends to talk to a variety of connections(mobile and landline/google voice*) So an unlimited makes way more sense for me and mine. With the unlimited Tmobile beats At&t hands down.

Apology accepted.
Ya, both carriers have their pros and cons, and you're right sometimes one is cheaper than the other depending on one's needs.
I knew I forgot something...i put the * on google voice up there because if you're calling to and from GV alot it is considered landlines. Another reason I need the actual unlimited as everyone now has my GV number. Unless you're calling a sprint GV number, then it's a mobile...i think.

Whether he re-ups his T-Mobile contract, or gets a new contract with ATT, he'll be in the same boat. Except he'll probably be paying less on T-Mobile.
If the merger goes through, ATT has to honor all existing customer contracts. If they raise your rates, you get out ETF-free.

Value Plan 2 lines unlimited tàlk + text + data (2G each before throttling to Edge) for $100/mo. Great deal!
From HTC G2 with xda premium.
T-Mobile has been screwing my wife and I over. We dropped a $10 month 3rd line 4 times already and it keeps being added back on. We were put on a Value Plan 7 months ago where we were paying $15 a month per line for Unlimited data and now all of a sudden its $30 a month per line.....plus they added $7.99 a month insurance to both of our phones that I never authorized.
They told us about the new "Value Plan" With unlimited talk+text+and data for $110 a month for 2 lines is what they told us.....but in order to do this we have to pay a $200 per line "Migration Fee" to the new plan which is the same price as cancelling our contract. I've been with T-Mo for 8 years and they do this? **** you T-Mobile.
I have an unlimited family plan for voice, text, and data and its about $50 per line for 4 lines.
I'm paying just over $100 a month for two lines for my wife and I. This is after a 15% discount as a government employee. We have unlimited texting, 200MB data each, and 1000 shared minutes. It seems we could be getting more for our money. I've called and asked about changing plans and they always tell me it would cause my contract to end which would mean we would then have to pay retail for our phones (MyTouch 4G and MT4G Slide). So far I'm not too pleased with the deal since they assured me during signup that my total monthly would be closer to $80 after taxes, fees, and the 15% discount. Any ideas?

Youre paying $100+tax for 2 lines right? I think you should be getting unlimited talk text and web for that price. Ask about their "customer care plan". Thats how i got my 54.99. They dont advertised it.
As for my situation, i wanted to get the sgs2 for $199. They told me in order to get that phone at a discounted price, i would have to get the $79.99 plan unlimited talk text and web(2gb highspeed). And if im getting the 54.99 plan, i would pay the whole price of 529.99. $230 down pmt and $15 charge every month until i paid off the balance. I did some math and i decided to get 54.99 plan and just get the phone when im ready instead of paying $80 a month. You think i chose correctly? The phone can wait, i just want to get a cheaper plan.

It just shuts off after 30mb, and you'd have to spend more or renew the plan early for more. Which kinda sucks, but I hardly use it - the first couple months (with my old hacked iPhone) I didn't even reach the limit.
Oh, and rough estimate, T-mobile EDGE is about 130 Kbps download/80 upload, that's what I've seen. Sorta like ISDN speeds.

1. There is no $15 data SOC for Value Plans. It's $10 for 2GB, $25 for 5GB and $55 for 10GB.
2. The insurance roots back to where you got the phone from. I advise going to them.
3. You say you're on the Value plan and you're still complaing about the Value plan having a migration fee. It's basically the discount on a phone. Value you get a discounted plant. Classic you get a discounted phone. You can't have both. So the "migration" is basically asking for the discount back. You can't double dip.
I think you're being misinformed and there is some miscommunication along the way. They do give you a break down of the bill when you renew any type of contract. You should have saved it. Could use that to argue the charges.

AT&T on Wednesday announced the upcoming availability of new shared data plans. Following Verizon’s lead, AT&T’s new plans will allow subscribers to share data between family members and also between devices. Dubbed “AT&T Mobile Share” plans, the new offerings start at $40 per month plus $45 per smartphone for unlimited voice minutes and messaging and 1GB of data, and top out at $200 plus $30 per smartphone for unlimited voice and texts plus 20GB of data. Additional data costs $15 per gigabyte. Feature phones can be added to the new plans for $30 per device, connected laptops cost $20 each, and tablets can be added for $10 per device. The new plans do not replace AT&T’s existing data plans, which will remain available following the launch of the new AT&T Mobile Share plans. AT&T’s press release follows below.
AT&T GIVES CUSTOMERS MORE CHOICE WITH NEW
SHARED WIRELESS DATA PLANS
New Mobile Share Plans Allow Customers to Easily Share Data Across
Smartphones, Tablets and Other Devices
New and Current Customers Not Required To Choose or Switch to Shared Plans
DALLAS, JULY 18, 2012 — AT&T* customers will soon have more options in choosing the plan that’s right for them and their mobile devices. With new AT&T Mobile Share plans, available in late August, new and existing customers can share a single bucket of data across smartphones, tablets, and other compatible devices, plus get unlimited talk and text. AT&T Mobile Share plans make it easy for customers to manage their data, voice minutes and texting, without needing to keep track of multiple plans.
Customers can select one of the new shared data plans or choose one of AT&T’s existing individual or family plans. Current customers are not required to switch to the new plans, but can choose to do so without a contract extension. There are no changes to AT&T’s device upgrade policy, which means customers eligible to upgrade to AT&T’s best device price are not required to switch plans. The new plans will also be available for business customers.
With AT&T Mobile Share plans, customers start by choosing how much data they want each month, then choose up to 10 devices to attach to their shared plan, one of which must be a smartphone. Each plan includes tethering and unlimited domestic calls and texts for smartphones and basic or quick messaging phones. The larger the data bucket you choose, the less you pay per gigabyte and the less you pay for each smartphone added to the shared plan.
AT&T Mobile Share allows customers to essentially build a plan to fit their devices and usage. Customers who are more data-centric can choose a larger data bucket. Customers who typically use more voice than data can add multiple smartphones and basic phones and opt for a smaller data bucket.
“We offer customers a broad choice and the best lineup of plans, now enhanced by Mobile Share,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility. “With these new plans, the more you share, the more you save. They’ll be a good fit for a variety of new and existing customers. But if customers want to stay on their current plan or choose from our existing plans, they can do that, too. It’s their choice.
“Today we think of people’s smartphones and tablets sharing a bucket of data. But in the future we’ll see health care monitors, connected cars, security systems and other devices in the home all connected to the mobile Internet,” said Christopher. “Our Mobile Share plans are simple, easy and a great value for individuals or families with multiple mobile Internet devices.”
Mobile Share plans give customers more control over how, where and on what device they use data — which has become more important as people use more data devices. You can choose to use more of your data bucket on your tablet, for example, or tap into your data bucket only when needed for devices you use occassionally. And by consolidating data plans, you can take advantage of any data you currently have unused each month by efficiently sharing it across devices.
“The ‘more you share, the more you save’ concept is one that will resonate well with customers because of the value provided through the Mobile Share data plans themselves and in smartphone connection fees,” said Roger Entner, Founder and Lead Analyst of Recon Analytics. “AT&T also is providing its customers with flexibility and choice by keeping its existing data plans and not requiring customers to move to Mobile Share unless they want to. It’s a win-win for both AT&T and its customers.”
To help customers track their data usage, AT&T keeps users informed with courtesy alerts as they near their data allowance for the month. Also, customers can check their usage at anytime online, through the myAT&T mobile app, or by calling *DATA# from their mobile phone.
Each data plan also includes access to more than 30,000 AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots — the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network** among wireless carriers — at no additional charge. Wi-Fi usage at public hotspots, home or office does not count toward the monthly wireless data plan usage.
Customers can learn more about the new plans and determine which plan is best for them at www.att.com/mobileshare.

Hold on, let me put on some lipstick. I don't wanna look bad before AT&T ****s me in the ass.
Really? REALLY? For two smartphones with 4GB between the both of them, that would be $150/mo + tax. That's ****ing crazy.

Bottom line, the carriers aren't gonna do anything that doesn't make them money.

But what are you comparing this to? I currently have two smartphones with 700 shared minutes and unlimited texting, one phone has 2gb of data and the other has 200mb. I pay $140+tax. With unlimited calling/texting and a much larger slice of data that what I currently have it would seem to me that the new plan is a better deal.

Right now my family has Unlimited Messaging and Unlimited Messaging with me having 2GB of Data. We pay around $130+Tax for that. If my aging father wanted a smart-phone, he'd want around 2GB or so of data as well. With this plan it's:
4GB of Shared Data : $70
Smartphone: $40
Smartphone: $40
That's $150+Tax. But then each additional smartphone we add will be $40 and take up our shared data. After two smartphones, it's useless since we're just wasting $10 extra.
Unless you have a bunch of tablets that you only use occasionally, a shared plan seems like a more expensive way to have data.

ROFLOL! Thanks for the info... But I'll stick to my current plan... $25 for 2GB... X2 (if I want to) is $50. Why do I want to pay $40+$45 to share on 1GB? That's just like AT&T to force us into a lower plan for more $$$... If you remembered the Unlimited plan for $30, and they forced us to go with $25 for 2GB..
I will have to add ot up for my instance but this NEW plan seems higher for me. I have 4 phones on my plan, mine with the GRANDFATHERED UNLIMITED DATA for $30 or $25 (I cannot remember right now) on my SGS2, TWO phones with 2Gbs of data each for the $25, and one dumb phone with no data plan, and ALL share the unlimited mms/sms with 1400 minutes of talk. My bill comes out to about $220 a month after all the taxes and all. I use my UNLIMITED DATA plan to at least the 3Gbs a month before being throttled each month and have kept from being throttled in the last few months as I try to use wifi when downloading anything 100Mbs or more at a time unless I am in teal need of getting something downloaded right now.

If I remembered it right, it's $30 for GRANDFATHERED UNLIMITED DATA.
And I am pretty sure they probably will throttle you for the 20GB plan too. Once you get to a certain GB in the shared plan.
The reality for myself is that I hardly make any calls and basically use this as a portable computer with phone attached if I need it. I use Wifi mostly and as such have used at most 500 megs a month. Usually more like 50. The shared plan would definitely not be helping my wife and I who got 2 gigs for 25$ and the cheapest bucket of family minutes available with no texting. I'd go for a data only plan and pay per minute on calls if I could.

This is the biggest pile of horse manure from AT&T yet. My wife and I are on a family plan with 550 mins and 2 GB says plan each. I ported both our previous numbers to Google voice, so we basically have unlimited messaging. Unlimited calling since we never go over and have a ton of rollover. So basically for the same 4 GB of combined data and essentially unlimited everything else, we pay 95 after taxes and FAM discount. I really think once our contracts are up, I am going to get the latest gnex and bolt to straight talk or something else.

Hmm. That sounds like a good idea.
I can vouch for Straight Talk. I'd much rather pay $500-$650 up front for the phone and pay $45 per month than pay $200 up front for the phone and $100 per month for the next 2 years. Also, you can't get slammed with overages because it's prepaid. If you use around 2GB per month, Straight Talk is a no brainer.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S II
Just did some quick math...
Straight Talk
$45 per month x 24 months + $650 for phone = $1730 over 2 years
Postpaid AT&T
$100 per month x 24 months + $200 for phone = $2600 over 2 years
Speeds on Straight Talk aren't throttled either, same HSPA+ you get on postpaid. Of course Straight Talk also gives you unlimited voice minutes and texting.

How much is too much? If it's 2 gb that's terrible, if it's 10 gb, then that's reasonable. Also how do they stop you from just going in and buying another SIM?

2 GB for $45 a month isn't terrible. If you can keep your usage to <2GB per month and <100MB per day, then it's a no brainer. I've had 200MB days and not gotten flagged or throttled at all. If you're really worried about them closing your account, port your number to google voice first so you don't lose it and activate some random number on your straight talk account.
They block credit card billing info from ordering twice I believe.
nice plan
sweet new plans if you have a large family account and lots of devices!
Currently pay $272 for 4 phones + mifi (add on more for all our ipad's monthly charges here and there) for total of 17gigs worth of data.
Avg usage over last 6months in data is 6.7gigs only too lol
New plan will cost only $237 for 15gigs +unlimited talk and tethering.
seems horrific if you don't have a large family plan. at least you aren't forced onto new plan like Verizon
Today I was at a third party retailer they told me that T Mobile $70 dollar unlimited plan is truly unlimited but they cap the speed at 14.4mbps. Do anyone have this plan? Plus I have a couple pics!
I didn't know about the 14.4mbps speed limit, thank you very much for including that. But yes, it is unlimited which I don't think you can find on any other GSM carrier for a reasonable price (under $100). I was told by a T-mobile rep that I would be able to download 10gigs per day (or however much, used 10gb for example) 30 days a month. Talk about pioneering the industry! And if you don't use many minutes you can get the same plan with 500 minutes for $10 less. I hear an additional $5 less if you are affiliated with a business.
ol omsun
I had no idea if they capped speed. (Even though that capped speed is still pretty good enough for me)
Guess I gotta research this a little bit. I was planning to jump on this plan.

Well on the t-mobile website, the $70 monthly prepaid has a cap for 5GB of 4G data.
I am getting confused >.>
Where'd you find it to be unlimited 4G data? Which 3rd party?

To be honest I was on that 70.00 plan up until last friday and TRUST ME it will cap at 5gb. I was on the walmart special 30.00 monthly tmo 4g plan (100mins/unlimited text/5gb) but i kept running out of mins thats why the last month i decided to try out the 70.00 monthly unlimited plan. Only tmo truly unlimited contract plans come with no cap. To be honest being a full time student i couldnt afford 70 a month so i started shopping around for other prepaid offers....I recently switched to solavei which is a Tmobile mvno company (they work off tmo towers, same towers your phone is connected to right now) I signed up monday received my micro sim card weds and the service is amazing I get faster download speeds with them then the actual Tmobile Monthly 4g plan Ive been on for the last 18 months!!!!.....Im currently using the service with a samsung galaxy s3....its 49.00 a month unlimited talk text and 4gb of internet....you also get paid, every three people that sign on under you, you wlll get paid 20.00 every month that they are active, payout comes on a prepaid visa card solavei sends to you. I havent received mine yet since I just activated. my google+ profile gives more info since ive been telling everybody about it. let me know if you have any questions
here is my google+ profile if you wanna see the speed test I have done since being on Solavei https://plus.google.com/photos/104158389637045624794/albums/posts/5808785640460793522
How sure are you that Solavei pays you $20/month for every 3 referrals. I'm pretty sure it's a one-time payment of $20 per every 3 referrals.
Even if they do cap it to 14.4mbps that is still plenty of speed to do anything on a phone.. You're really complaining about those speeds?? Where I live I'm lucky if I hit 100kbps as I'm on EDGE all the time. Be happy with your "4G"

I've done alot of research on it before I switched over and talked to people that have been doing it.....it is every month. Every 3 people is 20.00 a month and if they add 3 ppl you are also paid 20.00/month. I just received my Solavei prepaid visa card in the mail today. Link below gives you more details. I'm not sure where you're getting your info from but they clearly don't know what they are talking about.

I work for a T-Mobile corp Store and there is no speed cap on any of tmobiles plans only cap is how much data you get. The $70 M4G plan is unl talk and text and up to 5gb of data at as fast as your phone can go then it slows down to dial up or slower. Unl everything on a contract is $70 a month that is truly unl data no slow downs.

Considering you work where you do, can you answer me this? Does Tmo offer discounts to business owners? If so, what is the discount and can the discount apply to senior managers of the business?
It depends on the plan you get setup on but yes most if not all bus accounts gets more discounts then a personal account. You would have to call and talk to a bus rep and see what they can offer you. Most of the time it is on the plan only you still pay the same price on the phone that everyone else does. I am on vacation right now. Next time I work is Tuesday if you want to pm me some info on your bus I can pass it along when I work Tuesday.

I think I got duped. I called up and she claimed that I can convert my 4 contract phones over to this plan however that there is only the 40 dollar rate for each line, and I'll actually see 15 bucks per line on the bill. The change is effective on 2/4/2014 which is when my billing cycle changes... I guess I'll check back at the end of the month and have a long discussion with AT&T about it.
That is great news, any saving is good savings

It's pretty much a modification of the Family Share Value plan introduced not that long ago. The biggest pricing discrepancy between T-Mobile and AT&T was that AT&T charged the same monthly fee per device whether you bought it outright, got it with Next, or brought your own. With the introduction of the recent Family Share Value plan people who got their phones as described above were given a $15 a month discount on the monthly service fee per non-subsidized device. My two went from $40 to $25 per month. With the new plan announced today, if you're not using a subsidized phone, the $25 per month drops to $15. It starts at 10GB so it's really targeted at families/groups and large data users. My 6GB plan with two non-subsidized devices ($25 a month each) was $116. With the new 10GB plan it's $109 because while the data component went up a bit each device dropped $10 ( $15 a month).
So it's a great deal if you aren't using a subsidized device, have a lot of (non-subsidized) lines on your account, or are a big data user. It's pretty meaningless to those with subsidized phones. But it's meant to be a T-Mobile deterrant and you can't get subsidized phones from them directly anymore anyway. You can but only through resellers along with 2-year contracts and different rate plans that are pretty comparable to AT&T subsidized rates.
I was also on the 6GB plan (2 lines). Upgraded to this and now have 10GB for $15 less. Winning!
Can anyone who had a contract tell me exactly what is listed for the specific phone charge? I have attached how it shows up on mine and am a bit worried even though I am told that the 15 dollars will apply to each of my 4 lines

You're not on a Mobile Share plan and I can't tell if the devices on your account are subsidized or not. The per device monthly discount only applies to non-subsidized devices (finished 2-year contract, purchased outright, Next, or bring your own). To get any of the discounts we're talking about you'd need to move to a Mobile Share plan and if you have devices on your account that are subsidized the monthly charge you pay for them won't decrease. With the new 10GB plan non-subsidized devices drop from as high as $40 to $15 per month.

See that's the problem there. I was told by the REP that even though I am on contracts the 15 dollar will apply. Its like I am getting an exemption. I will call them back
Also "The most surprising part of today's announcement is that current customers with on-contract phones can switch to the new pricing structure. Starting tomorrow, you can simply call up AT&T and ask to switch to a Mobile Share Value plan with 10GB or more of data, and you'll drop from paying $40 per smartphone down to just $15" the following was reported via the verge at http://www.theverge.com/2014/2/1/5368768/att-discounts-large-mobile-share-value-plans paragraph 6.
She actually set the plan up to take effect on 2/4/2014 which coincides with the start of my billing cycle.
I will call them back and cancel the changes. I would be going from paying 199 minus discounts to 235 minus discounts and that makes no sense for me.

This is from the new program's conditions. Anyone with subsidized phones can't also be on a "no annual service contract" agreement. Installment agreement refers to Next. Who knows, maybe the CSR you talked to is giving you some additional discounts or exceptions. It's pretty much the Wild Wild West over at AT&T lately in their effort to keep customers from T-Mobile.
Pricing for Value plan w/ 10 GB data ($100/mo.) plus per smartphone pricing ($15/mo.) on no annual service contract or on an installment agmt.

Anyway thanks for the information. I just got back off the phone with ATT rep along with a online chat and I was informed that I will get charged the 40 dollar a month for the 3 lines and will receive a 25 dollar credit for each line. OF course I would only see that credit on my Next Bill and following bills. I will have to hope the reps I spoke to are correct, if not I'll be calling them back when my next bill shows up.
Here's to crossing my fingers.
While this is great and all but I would rather keep unlimited data on 3 lines family plan with unlimited text messaging and 500 mins with roll over for $160 a month. Until they take away the unlimited that is. Hopefully not anytime soon.

With the monthly device fee down to $15, Next finally makes sense. It's now cheaper (as long as you want/need 10GB of data) than buying the phone subsidized. And that's not even taking in to account the "new device after 12 months" benefit of Next. Here's how the numbers work out based on current AT&T prices.
