If you want the rom so bad why don't you make one? If you do not have the ability to make a rom then go to work and donate to developers because they don't have to do what they do for free. They could charge, pay pall makes it easy to charge for a download.

Anyone have a fix for this yet?
i've tried flashing a zip, installing the apk, all to no luck.
Install the apk then restore data with Titanium Backup.

Since the new ota root this forum is like it was a year ago...how do I tether, how do I root, whats a good rom, how do I flash, I think I bricked my phone, I'm stuck at bootloader..etc

Yup. That's pretty much in a nutshell how these things work around here. No sense in getting particularly agitated about it, if nothing else this may be a good chance to take a breather from the site for a bit while things settle down. At the very least just stick to the development forum to keep tabs on the latest roms and kernels.

Even in the week leading up to the root being released I couldn't believe how many newbies we were getting in the forum. I guess they come in waves, and now that you can get the EVO free on contract I guess you'll just see more.

I think its just to get people to read a bit first rather than blasting in with their first post being "How do I do this?" which has most likely already been addressed in the thread.

Just go into the xda app settings and select none or custom if you want to put something else to replace it. Press the menu button to access the settings menu.
