How to CID-LOCK a Device?

Yeah, you've read right - I want to CID-Lock my device. Because of some reception issues, i have to send it for repair. I've still warranty on it, but it's unlocked by imei-check.co.uk, so I have to lock it again. Anyone knows somethin'bout it?
Common guys, someone has to know something about it...

Perhaps you'll have to request imei-check.co.uk to send you the locking code
if you had CID unlocked through lokiwiz,it wud have been easy by restoring back the cid_locked.bin with lokiwiz which it creates at the time of Cid unlocking.
Yeah but the problem was, that I have a G4 Device, so it didn't work with lokiwiz, at the time.
Lokiwiz tool does not CID unlock a G4 device, however, you can SIM unlock a G4 device by lokiwiz 0.3 version,it provides you with a SIM unlock code.
Anyway, have you upgraded your phone to any wm6 custom Rom or still on official carrier's OS,which came pre-installed on it ? if you are still on the official Rom,then don't assume that the vendor will have any doubts about it being CID unlocked. But if you upgraded then you got a problem there. If you graded,as it's already CID unlocked, may be if you flash the official carrier's Rom which was pre installed,it might get away with it,well it's a give and take situation, but gonna have to take some risk now.
Cheers

Have a look the-equinox's thread about HardSPL stickied in the G4 thread and also at my tutorial on how to remove HardSPL stickied to the top of the G4 thread. I don't know if it is the same concept and procedure but if my thread will help you then it's worth a try.
Good luck.

Hi all, I just bought a sim-locked T-Mobile US HTC HD2 and need some advice, should I unlock the phone first or should I flash android to it as it's running stock WM. Thanks
I would buy the unlock code first as the instructions will use win mo, but thats my only reason

[Q] Dutch guy needs some help

Hello everybody,
Today I installed WP7 on my hd2 and it works great, but I don't know what I have to do now, I can't install apps etc because I haven't activated my phone yet. I've read everything here I think I have to unlock it with Chevron tool? But if I click on 'unlock' it gives an error.
And what do I have to do after that?
And can it give problems that I live in the Netherlands?
Sorry for my dumb questions but I hope someone can help me.
BTTF ROM is already unlocked but mango update mess up this, you must do hard reset to working ok or use unlock cab files... no need to use chevron

Please don't take this the wrong way...its just a question...nothing implied.
Whats the need or attraction to unlock the VP? What is gained?
Again, please don't read into the question...its just a question.
You can downgrade to retail wp7 7004 t-mobile by using tutorial from next thread: unbricking dvp. Just flash retail ffu, by mensioned methode and here you are.
be carefull: any errors during flashing may cause a brick.

Ya i am wondering the same thing as Chevron7 never supported the DVP, there seems to be no reason to do this? unless maybe you want to try and interop-unlock the phone but again that has never been done... yet
Some of us are developes/tinkerers that love to mess with whatever we own.
Dev/interop unlocking is part of this, you could simply unlock to fiddle around with the contents of the rom and just that much.
If WP7 had something as well made as root explorer, that in it of itself is reason enough to unlock. You can learn a lot about an os just by figuring out how it ticks. (Just one of many reasons to unlock, your mileage may vary)

There may be problen with the rom
Sent from my HTC HD2 using xda app-developers app
Try re-doing the task29 process to a fresh install again.
I no longer have an HD2, so my little knowledge is gone. ...

Are you locking via endkey !?
If so try avoid using endkey & see if screen works better.
If so I would expect it related to digitizer cable & connector bonding is failing, cable runs close to end button thus movement & pressure in this area effects it.
Do a search on digitizer failure, loads of threads as a huge common problem.
Do make the effort to try another ROM if doubts on cause remain & eliminate software/firmware before going the hardware route.

Use task29 again, check your radio rom (2.15.50.14) and install different original or custom windows mobile 6.5 rom. i guess, it depends on your windows 6.5 rom(romda problem olabilir, başka bir custom rom veya orjinal rom bul dostum).
