Are there ways to:
a) Reduce the size of the text-entry box for the keyboard in landscape so that the entire screen isn't taken up by the keyboard and the text box?
b) Get rid of the brightness slider and/or TelCo ID in the notifications menu so that more than 1 & a half actual notifications can be viewed?

Hello,
I just switched to a Touch - I really like my phone so much but I really really miss the flashlight apps I used on my last couple of phones. The touch doesn't have flash in it so I have a default word document with no text so it is all white but my screen brightness is normally set for 50% - I was wondering if there was a way to have it increase the brightness for this particular document or some other way to make the brightness go to full, and the screen go to white in one touch?
Thanks
By default when you are on your 9x9 Panel arrangement screen, when you switch your XPERIA between landscape/portrait modes, your panels will start to move and flip along their long edges as they turn over and reposition in the other orientation.
Well this time press the Panel Settings button so that they all turn over and have the briefcase icons, and switch between portrait/landscape modes.
When transitioning from portrait to landscape mode ONLY, you will see that your panels flip along their short edges, making for a VERY surreal 3D depth to the transition. Transitioning back to portrait from landscape while in the settings mode is normal once again (Panels flipping along their long edges).
I think it's a programming error in their PanelManager.exe and they overlooked it I think the flipping along the short edges is way cooler though..... Maybe there's a hidden registry value that could be created to set the transition effect hehehe.... but that's doubtful as usually only Microsoft codes stuff to make use of hidden/non-existent registry values if suddenly present. hehe.
COOOOL: While in settings mode with the briefcases, tap on any panel so it comes in to center view and then change between landscape/portrait. again, the center/large panel will be flipping on its short or long edge.... looks neato overall hehe.
My Brother-in-Law asked me the following.. Can someone assist in answering this question..
On iOS, I use two accessibility features extensively: Zoom and color inversion
By making some Accessibility selection, I enable these two fingers.
With a three-finger double-tap, I can zoom the screen. The entire screen image is zoomed. I can then adjust the magnification level at any time Also, I can scroll around the screen to see the parts that are now offscreen since we’re zoomed. I use this al the time since I can’t easily see small print on the tablet.
Next, if I triple-click the Home button, it inverts all the colors on the screen – this helps me because sometimes I can’t make out dark text on a light background very well. The inversion makes light text on dark background which is often easier to read.
OK, nice apple features.
ICS has font size adjustment, color inversion, and contrast.
Touch control, talking robot feedback, voice control, to name some.

I don't mean those text which you can make bigger through setting the font size in settings, but the other fonts which doesn't change no matter what size you set. For example the notification area - the timeline and incoming text message notification is absolutely tiny (can be seen here http://cdn1.tnwcdn.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2015/05/P8_notifications.png ).
Any idea?
Anyone?
try to change "font size" to bigger from "Display" in settings
Hi everyone,
Id like to propose a few mods that I believe will come in handy for many people. Some of them might be quite easy to implement, others not so much. Here is the list, in decreasing priority:
-change volume button increment, eg. from 5 -> 3 steps, I belive a simple config file edit will do it
-add music control to second screen when main screen is on
-change navbar behaviour, eg. long press back -> kill app
-same category: add arrows to navbar
-change second screen brightness, or at least adapt it to main screen
Thats it, thanks for your time and I hope a dev reads this, any feedback is welcome, Cheers !
-add music control to second screen when main screen is on
-> this can be done in the setting, I think double tap on the second screen led me there
Ram bar on recent apps screen (and that the color can be changed )
Also battery % status and since no notification led. May br someone create a mod to flash the entire screen - white or red or any color for every 10mins with custom timing..
