[Q] [Request] eclair custom rom

Can somebody make a custom eclair rom if they can that is prerooted busy box installed and custom themed

Why not use a 2.2 custom rom? You can change framework-res and twframework-res if you want to theme your G3

I have already used 2.2 custom they r amazing except for them being modded with beta releases...i would really like a custom for eclair which is already stable..nothin much required just a preroot and custom theme
Atleast someone could guide me to where the procedure to install a busy box is given

Roms i tested were stable. Kirillos beta release is becouse it dont have all promised features.

i know but the main thing is watching videos they lag on every froyo beta or custom roms

Which video? I use mVideo player and no lag.....and i dont think it will be better in enclair....

Even i use mvideo but the audio and video dont sync properly whereas it used to play smoth on eclair...anyways thanks for the support mate

Hey i saw bionix v 1.3.2 test zip..i've used 1.3.1 and trigger.. has anyone flashed 1.3.2 test it n how'd it go?

holy **** i thought 1.3.1 was fast. apps open in a blink speed is crazy, ungodly, ran quads 1500 -1600 kb1, no custom kernel flashed. oh man what is tw doin, 1.3.2 has gps test app inc havent tested gps yet. so far rom seems stable. gb launcher no tw launcher. tw may bring tha pain. i cant wait. n just on wifi omg dont blink . no idea on batt life sorry just flashed

Oh, well I saw post #5, but someone mentioned sombionix had 1.3.4 in his signature and the sourceforge site is only 1.3.2 test. I thought there was somewhere else where he had newer versions posted =/ Thanks though =)

why has he stop the public release ?
These are nice to know that there is some dev that is continuing, but why has he not post them here at XDA, and why has he stop the public release ?

yeah ... jasux , pauri and all have started the porting work!.... but most probably it will come after marcellusbe's cyanogen port only!

Yep we are porting it and if we get all working before cm7 we will most likely release it with froyo and later with GB, and yes it looks awesome

Now that is good news...... btw i read in thread that you guys are porting only some of the MIUI apps and theme and not the entire framework.... but the rom is based on AOSP...... so won't the samsung modified froyo be a problem for the base rom?

We are porting all MIUI frameworks (.jar files and the theme) also the apps and thats it... But the thing is that MIUI get its looks from framework.jar files and everything except firmware will be ported. lockscreen, launcher, apps, notification bar, theme, scripts these are the main things we are going to port
And if you want screenshots just google MIUI

You could just run MIUI and grab the TW4.5 launcher, that would give you the feeling of TW with MIUI insides.

whats so special about miui? why would i want to flash this instead of an official stock rom? cheers for any replies.

Ok guys, I own a Note 2 N7100, but my wife's N7105 in on it's way.. I have spent the last 3 days reading, reading and reading guide after guide about porting roms and miui roms so I'm pretty sure I've got all bases covered!
I have modified MyMiui v5 by aminalmo from the At&T thread..
I'm uploading it now, would really appreciate if a real dev could take an interest in this to take over and do it "properly"..
Here's the link, obviously flash only if you take ALL responsibility for doing so!

your rom is not working on my recovery.(it don't flash completely..)

I've taken that rom and stripped the kernel and modified the update script. Busy uploading it now, but it's taking long...

Yes, just taken out the kernel and updated the install-script...

Avaiable free ram only 765mb?flash it on my international n7105 note 2.

Is it registering all 2gb? Can you check running services? Have you tried killing all running apps?
Free memory should be around 1200mb

I have a note 2 lte (N7105T)
This Rom seems to be quite stable as does Aminalmo's which also works for me, only bug so far is the fc when a caller hangs up first. Apart from that i cant tell the difference from this rom and Aminalmo's
Thanks for posting this Miui V5 is a really nice smooth rom - i switched to perseus kernel and it seems to be work well also.
