Hi,
I m trying to connect to my work wifi EAP but with no success. I heard a solution was to get your a certificate installed on your device.
Now, i also have a work laptop which can connect to the wifi. if we bring our own personal laptops, they do not connect. So i was thinking if i could somehow grab the certificate from my laptop and install it on my device, i would be able to connect to the wifi?
Any ideas on how to?

Guys - i need some help.
I can use the ICS on sprint to get my laptop connected to the internet with no problems.
I can then use the VPN on my laptop to connect to my work file server. Again, great, no problems.
However, when i try to connect to Exchange via outlook on my Laptop, it can't connect. I can get email through Pocket Outlook on the phone, and everything else seems to work fine, but connecting to Exchange through the ICS doesn't seem to give me any love.
Now, the strange thing - i thought maybe it was sprint, but i used a friends aircard, and it connects no problem. i used to us dial up networking on my old phone, and it worked too. So, i'm at a loss. Why would ICS not allow me to connect to our exchange server? And are there any suggestions out there for something i could try?
Is there a USB modem driver i could us to just try a regular dial up network connection?
Any help would be really appreciated.

Is there a way to get a working pptp client for my x10i.
My Phone is rooted and i can replace files if needed.
The buildin pptp client is useless and doesn´t connet to my bintec r1200 router.
My Windows PC and my Ipod are connecting without any problems.
Why google added a pptp client which doesn´t work ?
Some Users wrote they can connect with some comercial vpn providers. But i need to connect to my own Network. I don´t want to pay for something which my Router can give me 4 free ^^
My Phone does never connect to my Network. I does not matter if encryption is turned on or off.
I tryed the tip to replace some file from this thread, too.With no luck

Has anyone get a succesful PPTP connection to a NON COMMERCIAL Vpn ?
Openvpn is useless for me, too. My Router supports als standard VPN, so i don´t want to run an additional PC to get that Phone connected to my Network.

I just wanted to know if anyone had gotten their Epic tethered to their PS3 Via wireless tether app. If so, how did you guys get it to work? And what steps is there needed to be taken for it to work?
I installed the Pre9 version and it works perfectly for my other devices, but for some odd reason when I try do a network scan on my ps3 it is unable to detect my phone. I tried googling and searching but I am still unable to find any answers. I know it maybe a noobish question, but I new to the android game and any help would greatly appreciated.

It can't see it because of the wifi mode that Wifi Tether uses. It can't connect to an Adhoc network. Try using the i9000 Mobile AP mod, it operates with an infrastructure mode. I connect my Wii to it and stream Netflix on occasion.
I had the same problem with my Roku box. The Roku wouldn't conect to a Adhoc connection. What I did was connect my Roku to my laptop via the Ethernet, and then bridged the connections.

ok this the way i use to do it on the samsung moment you have to connect your laptop or computer to the wireless tether and then on you laptop or cp you have to share connection and connect from laptop/cp with a ethernet cable...if you dont know how to do that reply back and i can help you with that to

I am trying to get my G2 to connect to the company wireless.
I've figured out how to install the certificates onto the phone, but the main question I have is, how do I know which certificate to use?
Is there a way I can find out which certificate my Windows 7 laptop uses to connect wirelessly? There are about 50 different certificates here and I'm not going to try every single one.
I use my Desire Z on my workplace WPA-Enterprise and WPA2-Enterprise and didn't need to install any certificates on my phone, it just connected. When connecting via Windows machine our settings have "validate server certificate" disabled.
Really though the best way to get an answer for your particular setup is to ask your company's IT people/help desk
Why can't I seem to get VPN working on my rooted KF?
I have tried several of the ROM's and have even tried with the new 3.0 kernel.
I have a VPN router setup at a remote location and all I want to do is connect to it using the KF so that when I am out of the country I can access media with a US based IP.
Any help or direction would be appreicated.
I know the VPN setup is working and have tested it on both a iphone and a pc. The KF takes the setup info but always fails to connect to the PPTP VPN.
