you need to extract it on your device ..! use rar ppc to extract

Run on your i-mate the file \windows\loadvdisk.exe and than your extended ROM will become visible in your file explorer.
Try to use the search option on this forum. This topic is discussed for some times I think.

by the way...i have another question to ask - how do i unlock the extended folder? I have tried to search the forum but i can not seem to find any solutions...

Hay everybody.. First of all I'm sorry if this has been already been asked for.. In case it is.. I request any of the moderators to delete the thread..
I was basically looking to have HD manila on my diamond.. I know cabs for the manila and its auto launch application are available, but I wasnt looking for that.. What I need is a link to the package file.. I wanna cook it into my rom.. could anybody help with this.. Either a link or some tutorial on how I could convert the cab into a COMPLETE package (I knw i can use the package creator software to convert the cab into a package, but i guess just doin that would not really help me.. as it would be incomplete), would serve my purpose..

I want to extract the files contained in a .cab
I know you can open the .cab in any unzipper, but you get different files.
For example: if I want to extract the Manila files form a .cab that installs a clock how do I extract the respective manila files??

I have 3 single manila files for modding my call history icons. Where must I place them or how can I cook them into my ROM?
Can I place them in a folder like Manila_2.08_Rhodium? And they were copy into windows during the flash procedure?
I don´t find a solution until now.
Hope someone can help me!

what kitchen are you using? For EVK just put them in exts after the manila files. The added files will over-write the files the files
Put them in a folder in your EXT folder:
ZZ_Manila_2.08_Rhodium\files <-------copy them here.
With the ZZ_ you will be sure that they will be the last to copyied,if you are using OsKItchen , there is an option for packages priority inside the Kitchen.
I dont know EVK, but i think that ZZ_ is fine with it.

I need two folder
One is framework and other is permission files
If someone can upload zip of both folder I will be happy . should be from marshmallow or nougat Sony stock ROM only two folder needed please someone help
