Hey guys,
I was wondering if there is any way to flash the GAPPs package to our phone? Might it be possible using ADB? Tried using the recovery mode and 'update.zip' but it couldn't even find the file.
Any ideas?

Hi guys,
I just want to ask you how could I replace TWRP Recovery with CWM on my LG G2 D802 International? Are there any issue/incompatibility?
I have rooted and installed TWRP, but I have issue with installing CyanogenMod 10.2 Stable (I checked MD5 and downloaded it many times): as I understand is a problem of TWRP compatibility.

It depends on what you download. If you download the recovery.img you can use the app "flashify" to flash the recovery, or if you download a flashable .zip then flash it in recovery then reboot recovery.
There are also instructions on how to use adb and loki here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449670

Mandelbrot.Benoit thanks fot your reply.
I'm interested with the flashable zip, so I just need to download it from Official CWM topic the file called "ZIP FILES - OFFICIAL - TOUCH D802" and flash it from TWRP recovery?

I'm not 100% if thats a "lokified" recovery or not. I don't think you'll hurt anything by flashing it. If you can't flash something using that recovery then there is an issue and you can flash another recovery.

I used the Flashify app from the play store to switch recoveries with no issues.

What do You suggest?
Otherwise, there is also the app called ROM Manger which should automatically flash the CWM.
The important thing is that it does not create problems between recovery.

Thanks Mouf32! :victory:
No issue guys,
CWM flashed correctly! Thanks!
With CWM, you can download rom manager, and just flash CWM without ever using a computer, and i know theres a flashable .zip. how can i flahs TWRP without a computer?
Download latest img from here techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/mako
And flash IT through recovery
Unleashed by my Nexus 4
Or just install goomanager and flash it from there

just flash the twrp 2.7.0.0 latest flashable zip through cwm and reboot recovery. it will take you to the twrp recovery. Thats it.
Fashify worked great when i switched to twrp
Im seeing a lot of people that have hard bricked by trying to flash TWRP without a computer. Is it relatively safe to do this, or should i just wait till i can get to a computer?

If you already have root just use flashify from the play store. Download the twrp image from goo.im and flash it in flashify

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install TWRP to my d802 for the first time (so from stock to TWRP).
Looking through the thread for TWRP 2.7.1 in the g2 development section I found that the app should be able to download and install the recovery for me, except it can't find info for lgd802
After some searching, I found the download link to manually install the recovery, but http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/g2d802 only has a .zip file for the latest recovery and the TWRP app won't install it unless it's an .img file.
So I'm having some trouble here. I really want to install this recovery, but I don' t know whether I'm missing a step, whether the server is just down, or whether it's always like this. It seems like if the app just worked it would be exceedingly simple.
Has anyone flashed this recently who might be able to advise me on a workaround?

The app sucks, I wouldn't use it. It gave me nothing but problems.
I used flashify to flash the recovery to the phone. Extract the img file from the zip.
Hi
I was trying to flash the stock KitKat 4.4 back from Franco Kernel just so that I could upgrade to Lollipop. So, I downloaded the necessary zips and followed instructions, all of which I got from this post on XDA (development/rom-flashable-stock-rom-radio-kernel-t2527806). However, two of the files didn't work (radio and ROM) and so now:
(a) my Nexus 4 is not loading - it just shows the Google logo with a grey unlock sign at the bottom and all I have is recovery mode.
(b) I can't seem to connect to my Mac to be able to transfer any working .zips over there in order to try and flash a different .zip file.
I have ClockworkMod v6.0.4.7 for my custom recovery.
Is there any hope at all?
Thanks in advance.
Sorted!
Just to let you know I found a way around it using Google's official stock image files and the commands adb and bootloader after installing sdk. Managed to flash it using the flash-all command.

I'm trying to find an easy way to return my tablet to stock so I can sell it. Is there a flashable zip for 5.1.1? I'm rooted and TWRP is installed. I can't find any ROMs like this.
Google Factory Images

Thanks. I'm looking for a zip file that I can flash via TWRP. I don't think what you linked to is that. Maybe I missed something though?
ETA: Can I flash the OTA zip file in TWRP?
@Superorb why not flashing the factory image using fastboot? It's much more secure than TWRP. (You might want to have a look here ). If you are already on the latest bootloader you can also skip that step.
I'm afraid of screwing something up using fastboot. I've never had a problem using TWRP.
In the image I downloaded there is a zip file that looks like any regular flashable zip. Can I do that or should I just go the flashboot way?
