yesterday . I need some opinions on how much
to sell my DInc for.

I want to get around $ 325 for it at least .

I wasn't considering a tbolt until I found out 4g going to be in my town. I wonder if it's hacker friendly like my dinc.

with time.. with time.. when I switched from my eris that had s-off to the inc that was rooted but had s-on, it was so ****ty. but s-off came, and not even an OTA update can take it away from us!

Just put it up there as a "Buy It Now". With the BIN price as the price YOU would like to get for it. Then just see what offers come in, you don't want to accept them, you don't have to. If you put it up in an auction and it only goes for $195, you can't do anything about that and you are forced to take a big hit. With BIN & Best Offers you decide how much it will sell for.

I preordered mine and after I did all the math it only cost me 150 after rebate... I'm pretty sure they double scanned the 50 dollar gift card they gave me when I got the phone... I paid cash so they can't change their mind and charge me more later... I'd go back on amazon and get the seido extended battery cause the battery is kinda small

Sweet! I got mine on launch day, and I have never been so impressed with a phone. I even showed it to my buddy at work who is an Apple fanboy and he said that he had phone-envy for the first time in several years! Enjoy your phone!

Did you NOT expect the price to drop at some point? You ALWAYS pay to be an early adopter. I bought my Vibrant on day one and two months later I could have saved $100 or could have got a two-for-one deal and not stuck my wife with a 3G Slide. Hindsite is always 20/20.

Yes I did. I've been around long enough to know it happens and that the rules state, "Effective the day after it is too late for you to do anything about it the price will drop or we will introduce a newer and better product." In case you didn't pick up on it though, my post is mostly sarcastic smarta$$. But it was also there to inform anyone of the deal that hasn't purchased one yet.

Didn't know about Best Buy for $100 until today.
My wife got hers last week for $199, wouldn't you know, they lowered the price. I just got off the phone with Sprint and they credited my account the $50.
Of course, if they hadn't, I would have had her return it as "I didn't like it" under Sprints 30 Day guarantee and then gone to Best Buy. She doesn't need 3D and its easier to maintain 2 identical phones.
Best Buy's website has it at $49.99 when I just checked. My NS4G is going back along with the $100 going back in my wallet. I'm within my initial 30 days and this is my second NS4G and the radio still sucks. I didn't want to go with a yr old phone, but it performs great and just got the official GB update so it's still well supported by HTC and Sprint. White Evo 4G will be in my pocket tomorrow.

Just called to confirm (since my son wants a phone) and from what they said on the phone...I can add another EVO to my plan for the $50 bones as well. Obviously an additional $20/line fee and the GOT A HAVE IT $10 ale cart crap fee applies, but better than any other smart phone out there for the price! Going to Breast Buy tomorrow!

Went by the local BB this morning and picked one up for him @ $50 was in and out within 15 minutes. Told the guy..."No need to take any more of your time...I'll activate it myself". There were a couple phones having the activation and UPDATE done..
Activated and now rooted..good times.
Went to Sprint to check on my replacement of the replacement EVO (BAD screen) they replaced last Friday..no go and phone calls to customer service etc have yet to get me a NIB phone..will deal with that. Guess I was a little frustrated..on the way out I saw three couples looking at the EVO and proceeded to exclaim..."Might want to go across the street to BB and get yours for $50 instead". Probably should have just kept quiet, but felt better as two of the three followed me out the store.

Honestly, the phone looks brand new. There is no cosmetic damage whatsoever. Been having a hard time pushing it on CL though and was hoping to order the Evo3d early tomorrow morning.

I guess I will see what happens, worst case scenario I will. Just really wanted to order it early tomorrow online so I know I will have one. If not I am sure I could sell it by friday, pretty firm on the 250 but worst case I would probably go to 200.

Oh I'm sure it works right away no problem, but overall does this affect long term battery? I'm assuming it may require the battery to be recalibrated at some point for optimal performance/capacity. This is more of a general battery question, not specific to the A500...

I plugged mine in, it was full charged in less than 2. Good thing I don't think I could have waited any longer. The quick start guide said 4 hrs and the instructions said 8 I think. And I think you should be able to plug it in and turn it on, they just mean don't turn it on and drain the battery before giving it a full charge.

This is good news even for us early adopters who paid the full $450. Pretty much the rule of thumb on XDA is the more popular the device the more development occurs for it! I'm usually NOT an early adopter and I don't think I've ever paid MSRP on any other electronic device I've ever purchased, but even at MSRP the A500 was the cheapest, best tablet out there, so I still feel liked I saved quite a few $ over, say, an iPad or iPad2 or Xoom, etc.
If the price goes any lower, it's going to be cheaper than my HTC Evo phone was -- subsidized from Sprint!
I work for Staples and the first I heard of this coupon was this thread.
I freaked for a second because I just bought my Acer 5 days ago, when we had the $50 off coupon on Any Laptop/Tablet. That was valid 7/13-7/16
I pad around $350 for the tablet after that and my employee discount.
I texted my manager. Tomorrow I'm getting a price guarantee exchange.
After my discount and tax, I'll pay roughly 280 for it.
We have to push the warranties, for no other reason than to keep our jobs.
We don't earn anything from it, other than a pat on the back from big brother, and momentary job security. In today's economy, Staples doesn't offer us any legitimate cut of the ridiculous profits of these plans, unless you work in one of the top 5 selling stores in the US. Then you might get an extra $50-100 a MONTH. Which isn't much incentive for the kind of pressure they put on us.
And if we don't sell, we get disciplined, in terms of hour cuts or termination.
However I will say in retrospect, the warranties on the tablets are a bit better than the laptops. You get battery coverage and they're all accidental. You break it? -- Battery stops holding a charge? Replacement or reimbursement.
If you break down the price divided by the amount of time monthly, it costs and covers things on par with cell phone insurance, except unfortunately it has to be paid entirely up front.
That's my two cents, from an Easy Certified Tech, desperately searching for a real tech job in a crappy economy.

Went to the store. They listed it at $449. I asked them to look it up and they said they'd give it to me for the online price of 399. The the dude came back and told me he was out except for one that was returned. I asked if he'd give me a discount on it and he said 10%. When I checked out, with the coupon, it all came to 289 after taxes! Same 14 day return and warranty. There was nothing wrong with it. If there is, I can go return it for a new one if I so wish...or at least return it.
This was seriously the deal of the century! xD
I got my A500 32GB from CostCo on 7/4 -- $500ish after taxes. Took a CWM backup after rooting. Came with the annoying Acer case and HDMI cable.
(I got an HDMI cable off ebay for pennies.)
Got this 16GB Staples model for $300.
Went on Amazon, got a nice case and a shiny 32GB SD.
Everything aside, the A500 is pretty much the best. Same specs, no fuss, runs every ROM -- what's not to like?
