Atheist,
could you point me to the link bro, there is too much stuff about wp7 since the past 2 days,
I am under the impression that we cant have WP7 and Android on NAND at this point in time ,
Open to corrections,

Well you cant have both on nand, well not atm and especially not a LEO512 but you can run Android via SD card while WP7 is on phone.
There has been various guides posted in SD forum...
[REF] How to boot your SD build from magldr [quick guide]
[REF] Tutorial: How to partition sd card to run wp7 and android from same sd card
I think there is a few more aswell but these are the ones stickied in the SD card forum. I haven't personally tried these yet but will be soon.

oh wow, i'm gonna try that, wish there was a partition manager in magldr that will allow nand booting of WP7 and Android, i have LEO1024

Actually yeah I thought I remember somewhere you could still use windows on nand and android on sd, or android on nand and sd.

EXACTLY ...
its on the wiki page :O
Yeah you're missing something alright.
the MAGLDR enables the ability to load Android from the NAND instead, wiping out WinMo.

yes i know that very well,,,
did you happen to read this
http://htc-linux.org/wiki/index.php?title=Leo/Magldr
may be cotulla can shed light on this
Keeping WinMo and Having direct boot of Android of sdcard sounds good to me. I read in gauners and cotullas builds that sdcard was faster for reads/writes than nand? Did I read that right?
Also, can anyone answer why you can't have both Android and Winmo on Nand dual booting? I am sure there are good reasons, I just don't know what they are? Is it like in a hard drive where you have the 'active' partition?

Yes, I read that on the wiki that was linked above. I like booting Android off sd, but what has me concerned is people a few people saying that sdcards can only handle about 1000writes per block before they go bad. Not a big deal, but someone also wisely said that 'electronics die at the worst time.'
I would really like to know if this is possible
RUN ANDROID, WP7, AND REG WINMO 6.5 on NAND???????
or at least have some way off keeping WINMO 6.5 while being able to use WP7 AND ANDROID
please no has yet to answer this!

[Q] Do SD Builds boot using MAGLDR?

Ok so there are obvious NAND builds which I can flash as per WM ROMS, they will boot fine, but can I put an SD build on my sd card and it boot direct from MAGLDR?
I know it supports booting android from SD but which builds? Also do the files have to be in a different location that sd\Android?
Thanks we could really do with a MAGLDR 101 type sticky
Thanks in advance
Please move to Android Q&A I've just had a senior moment! :-(

It is now possible to boot most roms that haret.exe ran using magldr
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913964
you will need some linux skills to do it as it involves mounting an image and changing one line in init.rc

Multi boot at startup

Can wp7 support a multi boot like wm 6.5 so it would be possible to run both wp7 and Android?
Apologises if this has been asked I couldn't find it.

With magldr you can have wp7 on nand and still boot android from sd card... you just have to either switch sd cards or partition your sd to split the storage between the 2 OS's. There are stickies in the Android SD Development section.

Thanks I will give it a try, it was the only thing stopping me from using wp7. Thanks agian for the quick reply.

[Q] Android booting from NAND + SD possible?

Is it possible to boot both Android builds with MAGLDR ?
I have already flashed an Android NAND ROM,but an android rom from sd,too, would be the beeesssttt DD
So is it possible to start the second one via MAGLDR?
thanks ^^
If you go to the Android SD development section, you'll see that some ROMs list that they can be booted from MAGLDR.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=735
You'll just need to check in each ROM's thread and first post to see if it's able to be booted from MAGLDR instead of HARET.
Once you have an Android SD build that's compatible with MAGLRD on your SD card, you'll need to enter the MAGLRD menu and firstly select the folder the Android SD build is in, then select 'boot AD SD' to load the SD android build.
Also, here's a guide to boot Android SD from Maglrd: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913964

Yes.
You can also have WP7 on NAND and Android on SD. In future you will also be able to boot WM6.5 from SD if you wish.
