Hi
My HD2 has some weird issues.
- When I restart te Device at some point it will reach the DFT screen. My HD2 restarts the Device, this up to 10 times. After several times, it will continue and start WP7. To stop this I have to take out the battery, after which it will continue to restart the device for several times.
- Some times it restarts in Windows Phone without cause. Last night I changed some settings (activation for HD7) and set up my alarm. This morning the device had restarted and resetted al the settings. ( I woke up to late because my alarm) So al the installed xap were gone. It was like a hardreset.
- After this I restarted my device and after a few restarts it loaded WP7 finaly. Now al my settings were back.
Does somebody know a sollution?
I suppose that is an issue with sd card.
I am also experiencing the same problem. Where u able to stop the reboot?

I'm suffering from the freezing problem and even though I have tried several custom and official ROMS, the problem still persists.
After reading a lot of threads, I started experimenting myself with T-mobile HD2.
What I found is that when I soft reset my device although I have disabled HTC Sense the freeze that occurs in the splash screen never appears again (up to now I have tried over 15 times, without any freezes!!!!)
Something else I noticed, is that when the freeze occurs while I am in normal operation (HTC Sense is active and I'm running an application) some times I have and some I do not have the boot up freeze. Sometimes it refuses to start and I have to take out the battery several times before it starts up again. If together with the battery I take out the SIM card too, I have no boot up freeze (I didn't have the chance to check it many times).
Please, do your own tests too, and write down your observations.
Most of the time if you get a startup freeze it's because of something on your SD card, so I'm not quite sure why yours is intermittent like that...but, it IS WinMo afterall.
Before I figure out about Sense, I had freezes even without SD card.
I got the following very weird problem..
when i yesterday went out of a club i noticed that my phone was off even if my battery was abt 60 percent..(running android) well i wanted to turn it on agian - nothing.. battery in / out , on again...
but the little problem was that in Winmob Sense couldnt get activated anymore (homesettings etc.) it starts loading sense but the screen stays blanc... a soft reset didnt solve the problem, even 10 didnt..
when i then booted android again .. the boot took about 15 minutes EVERY time.. instead of the usual 1 minute..
i formatted SD card now.. still all the same...
what should i do?? Please help!!!!
is a hardreset the only thing that could help? and if... do i have to b aware of anything? i mean i changed my radio etc.? does is affect the hardreset?
Try rebooting your phone without the sd card in it, and if Sense doesn't load up after a couple minutes, but still says 'Launching HTC Sense' up top of the screen, try pressing your start button, and then exiting your start menu by pressing the 'X' button at the top right of your screen. I have installed apps/done modifications to Sense that caused Sense to behave like that before, and sometimes this helps. If that still doesn't help Sense to load, you may have to do a hard reset, but I seriously doubt it had anything to do with running Android.
whether i do a HR or installing a new rom makes no difference right?
well the thing is.. i didnt install any apps in the last few month u know..?
what the hack is that...
I looked through the forum but it seems that noone exept of me is having this issue...
My device randomly reboots and after restating all settings i made are deleted.
Is this a known problem? Are there any fixes?
Edit: After rebooting manually the settings are restored. But the random reebot Problem remains...
Is had it manually reboot on me 3 times in the few hours that I've used it, though it didn't reset any settings .
I also had this problem.
My phone reboots and sometimes everything is erased.
also in android!
and in WP7 I can't receive or delete messages when my memory is full,
and stranger is that it isn't full, it says 80 mb free and suddenly it freaks and says full and blocks every action I want to take.. something is definitly wrong.
anyone else with this problem? i decided to stop using wp7 after a couple of auto - hard reset after every 4-5 days of usage and countless hours of deploying side applications and dreadful unlocking chevrons and activation codes and etc... %@$%
SIGH.
anyone who can solve this problem is much appreciated.
i once had this issue, too: turned my hd2.7 on in the morning, had a look at the display and voila - all settings are gone to factory state (brown tiles, english lanquage, all my apps were gone, too....) first time i was shocked; but then i discovered that this behaviour was the result of the non-compatibility of my sd-card! i switched my device off, pulled out the sd-card, re-inserted it directly after pulling it out and as i startet my hd2.7 again, all settings, apps and data were back!!!!! seemes to me, that any sort of cache or ram partition on the card runs into full after a few days of continouus using the device, and then the card disappears from the raid-system, looking to the user like performing a hard-reset... it's just like you would have startet your divice without the card insertet then.
for me, the solution was to buy a stated-as-compatible sandisk 8gb class 2 card - now all my wp7 problems are gone away
thank you my mannn!
edit: it doesnt work, it keeps auto reboot before even entering the home (tiles). and sumtimes when it gets in, it is factory resetted.
My HTC HD2 Windows phone keeps restarting 2-3 times a day, just by itself, I dont have any extra program on it, I have also resetted it full to factory settings, but still same problem. any help apriciated.
thanks.
problem solved
Hi.
I have downloaded the original upgrade rom from htc website, in my case vodafone rom, upgraded, restarted and now already more than a day no restarts, no problems at all.
