has anyone else noticed decreased vibration feedback with the capacitive buttons when you're in a poor service area (ie a basement). maybe it's just me, but it feels like the feedback is decreased.
My back button tends to get "stuck" and not work whenever I press it.

Guys, I don't know if this annoys anyone, but it does annoys me.
When in conversation, the screen went blank to prevention hitting any keys accidentally, but when I tried to higher or lower the talking volume, the HTC volume adjusting screen would pop and since my ear would be sticking to the screen, so at the end of the day, I can't adjust the volume without taking the phone off my face and then adjust then tap the power button to turn off the screen and put it back to my face.
does anyone got annoyed by this and could anyone fix this?
thx
I just got a new N1 and the bottom volume button is mushy and doesn't click. If you press down on it hard enough it will adjust the volume just fine, though. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a a way to fix it? Is this compelling reason to send the phone back? Will it affect the resale value?
Mine is the same; it is responsive but 'mushy' and does not click.
If yours is unresponsive then I would consider sending it back. If it is just an annoyance based on your preference for tactile feedback then it probably isn't significant in terms of resale potential.
Hi Bloggers,
maybe there is a twaek available for something that really annoys me terribly.
I use to have my Blackstone in the pouch. When i am called, regularily i hit the volume button and must first gget back from that screen.
Do you know a fix to delay a bit these "touchy" buttons?
Thanks
Laszlo
At times (occasionally) I find myself pressing the wake button while my nexus 4 is on sleep at most 3 times in order for it to wake up.
Is anyone else facing the same problem?
By wake button, I assume you mean the hardware power button? If so, I've noticed that I need to press firmly on the center of the power button to guarantee waking up. If I push on the edge, it doesn't always work even if the button "clicks".
I haven't noticed any issues but I do have a bumper ($5 Poetic) and I can just slide my finger over with a little pressure and it responds. Not sure if it's hardware or like tengen said that you might not be hitting the middle, but there are quite a few ROMs out there that let you wake with the volume rocker as well, nice feature.
Hey guys.
I'm super happy with my G2, and coming up on 4 months with it. However, I have a problem.
The power button and volume down, overnight and out of nowhere, got really squishy and weird.
There's no distinct "click" anymore, but they do work. It feels like I'm pressing a button with a pile of rubber under it.
The volume up button works perfectly normally, which adds even more to how odd the other buttons feel.
So, how do I fix this? Can I replace only the buttons, and if so, how hard is it?
Also, is anyone else experiencing this issue? Once again, the buttons do work perfectly, they just aren't behaving as they normally do.
