Hello.
After installing NDrive, I rebooted the phone by shutting it down and powering it on.
Now the phone is stuck at the SAMSUNG logo boot-screen.
Before that, I installed root and also flashed it to version I5800XXJPB.
Root and flash worked fine (there was some lag though).
I tried reflashing the same firmware version but it still stucks at SAMSUNG logo
Edit: I forgot to mention I also did a Factory Reset, Wipe Cache but still nothing.
What should I do to get past the samsung logo?
reflash your phone with the firmware of your choice
I ran into same problem reflashed with I5800XXJPF
problem solved

In fact, the real answer is: You should flash a firmware with datafs.rfs on it .

I read about this happens when power phone button is stuck, I have one too and i didn't flash it and start with that boot loop, if I restart it in recovery mode I can try install the v1.3 OFW after phone installation restart keeps blinking.
hi guys pls how were you able to fix it cos i am having the same problem
Today I got bluescreen on my S4, then the phone restarted on its own. After that, every time it was restarting, after 5-10 seconds, it immediately started freezing and restarting on its own (like an infinite loop). Couldn't find any solution since the phone can't even stay on for more than 10 seconds, I went into recovery mode and used wipe data/factory reset. On the recovery mode, the phone didn't restarted, I left it for more than 10 minutes and it didn't restarted so I don't think it's a hardware problem. However after wiping it and then rebooting the phone, it doesn't boot and just stays on with a blackscreen (nothing shows off), sometimes it restarts on its own but it doesn't even boot into the operating system now.
I haven't installed any custom roms, I don't even have rooted the phone. I tried installing the stock rom/firmware via KIES however it said that my S4 does not support initializing (tried both KIES and KIES3). So I downloaded Odin however I don't know where to download the right stock rom/firmware. Any help?
GT-I9505 (I was using the latest update 5.0.1 (when I did factory reset)).

The stock firmware can be downloaded from sammobile.com.
I recommend using the original cable and connecting it to a rear USB port to ensure the chance of a successful flash.

That's the problem, it's the first time I'm using Odin so I'm kinda newbie. I don't know which one to download from this list.
http://forum.youmobile.org/downloads/?cat=45
I even looked on this but still:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9505/#firmware
Or all of these are the same and it doesn't matter which one you download?
I should be looking for I9505GSMH, right? Because I can't find it on these 2 sites.

No. There is no such thing.
Type in your phone model, select your country and carrier, and download the latest one.
GT-i9505 firmware is here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9505/

I think you just brick your device.. you can fix this by flashing stock rom using odin

Yes I will, but internet connection is too slow, so the firmware download hasn't finished yet.
So i flashed an unlocked uk official firmware for my phone, now it keeps rebooting, going from the Galaxy s8+ screen to the blue installing software updates screen and it keeps rebooting in this exact loop. What should I do?
NOTE: before this my phone was nearly hard bricked and I somehow managed to get it into download mode to flash the firmware

Boot to recovery and wipe data/cache
My Galaxy S4 VE (GT-I9515) crashed. (the screen went black) It was not rooted and ran the latest Andoid 5.0.1 ROM.
When I turned it on, it went into a bootloop, randomly crashed during booting, or turned on normally. I removed sd and sim card and tried a different battery. Furthermore I tried to boot into recovery mode and wiped the system data and the cache. It did not help.
Sometimes it was not possible to get into recovery mode because the phone's screen went black and it rebooted.
Then I tried flashing multiple stock ROM files using Odin, but it did not solve the problem.
After that i tried rooting the device and installed a custom recovery (TWRP), but i still got random crashes during booting and sometimes it got stuck showing the samsung boot animation. The only things that work reliably are the Download Mode and the charging animation.
Now, what can I do to fix my phone?
I read a bit about flashing a .pit file but I don't think that will help?
Is this a hardware or a software issue?
How can I find out, what caused the problem?
