I need experts to help me on software development like how i can build in adobe flash lite into Android 2.2. It´s been long time since i have an htc tattoo, and every day i been serching for a 2.1 android rom wiyh everything working. well some developers have made som roms, but there is always a problem "camera" i have been searching every post thread trying to find somehing that can hep the developers fix camera problem ( i cant because i don´t know nothing about programming ) so i decided i put here this thread to see if someone that can help us.I konw that for hero and g1 someone has made it so if you are a developer , can you please take a pic at tattoo android development and see if there is a solution to tattoo camera problem

Hi there,
There are components of Android that are closed-source, namely the camera drivers. My guess is, so far, no one has been able to create drivers for Tattoo, hence they don't work. Unless HTC releases the drivers for the community, the effort to create a driver compatible would require some time.
It is not that there aren't capable developers here that could pull it off.

hey everyone
i`m looking for some help and hope that i can find that at this forum
well,i got my htc hero android few months ago , the device is amazing and i like it alot BUT i`m facing some issues and i`m trying to fix but i don`t have any knowledge in the android field.
what i`m trying to do is :
1- i want to update the firmware version to 2.2 or 2.1
2- can i fix the bluetooth thing so i can send/receive images and videos via bluetooth?
3- i receive arabic messenges . so can i make my phone support arabic (read/write)?
if those issues were fixed then i`ll be having an amazing phone !! otherwise i`ll have to buy another phone and waste my money
so plz plz plz guys help

1 - Do you want an original ROM or a custom one?
2 - Never used it, so I don't know if it works or not.
3 - Yes, but depends on the ROM.
You can install VillainROM12. It is 2.1 ROM, BT is fully working (BT is working with any 2.1 ROM) and it supports almost any language - read / write ;-)

Hiya eric,
I am looking for the same answer as you do, Realy love the phone however hate the software and would love to use an android ROM myself if its possible. I just did not fugure out how yet... I see it should be possible somehow, just not sure whether our model fits in there as well. And im not going to try out unless I am certain it's possible. However if you find out before I do, please PM me
