I had an epic and was going on my 3rd one then got fed up with the issues..they were hardware related..are issues resolved for the most part because I might be coming back to the epic. Any advice?

My issues were a wobbly keyboard and a dead line if pixels in the screen.

Sorry for not posting this in Q&A... doesn't show up in Tapatalk.
What would be a fair asking price for an Epic? There is a slight scratch n the screen.

Well, if there is nothing else wrong with it I would say ~$200 bucks. I bought a brand new one for $300, a scratch on the screen would definately turn me away from it.

So I just bought my atrix today and I am just noticing now that there is a dead pixel atrix the bottom right hand side of my screen. It is hardly noticeable because it is stuck at a deep green.I'm wondering if this is grounds for exchanging for a new one our if I should just try to forget about it....what do you guys think?

Had refurbished Samsung android moment and it never worked the same as original. Seems to be the consensus by other Samsung Android users I've talked to. Sprint and Asurion can't fix a phone...... who would have thought.... lol.

Way to go HTC!
From what I've heard the 3d may be locked down

I think it's too close to release for the evo 3d to be changed, or at least that will be their excuse I'm sure. They built it into the hardware after all.
Sent from my PG06100 using XDA App
wow didn't know it was a hardware thing, that would really cripple the sales for devs and ppl like me who like full access to everything in the phone. I hope they can unlock it through a software update.

The cryptography and sign checking is supposedly built in to hardware. If the software can tell the hardware to ignore it, then maybe... But that may or may not be possible.

This is making me appreciate my shift even more

I believe they confirmed in emails that the Evo3D will be unlocked.

Odd thing happened today. Twice today I woke my phone, the display turned on in a washed out/smeared green color. Cycling the power button fixed the display. I'm concerned that this telltale sign of hardware failure. Anyone seen this before?

I remember having that problem when I had my Mt3g phone and flashed CM rom that had compatibility issues. Was fixed by Ezterry's updated kernel. Have you done any updates recently?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Nope..not in a few weeks.

Hmm that is a little concerning. Just got this evo not too long so I am getting to know how this hardware works along with the usage. The symptoms are the same, but under different circumstances.
