Hey everyone.
Just did a search to see if I can replace the right icon at the bottom of the sense launcher. The problem is that I'm not quite sure what the correct terminology is.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there is a simple way to choose my own shortcut there instead of the personalize palette.
I'm using virtuous 0.9.0. Don't really want a theme, am willing to try some command line type stuff
Thanks so much if anyone can point me in the right direction!

I have tried quite a few roms on my MT4G and most of them are great. Thinking I have settled in to the royal glacier rom for everyday use for now. So my question is this... Is there a way to change the stock MT4G launch bar that appears at the bottom of the screen to the one that comes with the desire hd roms? I like the look of the rounded launch bar a little better than the square one that came with... Thanks in advance for any help...

I think I have seen Sense themes for ADW on the Market but I didn't look at any; if you want a customizable launcher anyway, I would download ADW Launcher.

Hi,
I am a noob here. I did some search before posting this thread, but the search returned unsuccesful for me. I am looking for coloured icons for Gmail, messaging etc for the NOTIFICATION BAR. I am not able to find them and definately want to know the procedure to put them in correct place or install them
If someone can help me, id be obliged.

I think the only way is to root your phone and flash a custom ROM.
Try a look at the developement section and the Android Revolution and CM 7 ROMs. There are themes with coloured notifications.
But be careful you can brick your phone!!!
Is there no other easy way to do it? I cannot risk bricking my phone, already i am a noob. I dont want to get into all this trouble. I once tried stuff at my TP2, it took some time and a few tries to put new rom, before my TP2 started to work again. But the results were amazing.
Anyways, if somebody can suggest me some easy way to put the coloured notification icons in the notification bar.

Sorry for my noobish question but Is there a fix for this? I've search the entire thread and found nothing.

Could you elaborate some please?

What do you want to fix? The pointer comes up when you touch the dpad an disappears right away.
Unfortunately, there's currently no way to keep the mouse pointer from appearing when touching the trackpad on ICS ROMs right now (at least that's what I'm getting from the countless threads I've read...)
Ohh sorry let me make this more clear, when I touch the touch pad on any ics rom a mouse pointer appears is there a way to remove this?

I don't think you can, most people just look over it..

Just a theory, but if he mods the framework-res apk and edits the mouse pointer to all transparent and repackages shouldn't that make it work for what he wants?

Possibly, but I'm not sure people actually use the trackpad enough for the pointer to be that much of an issue.

Hmm thanks for all the help guys, it doesn't bother me but it would be nice to have the track pad to its original use like in the stock rom but its a want not a need XD

I used the track pad a great deal for editing text, its a no can do with the pointer. I've resorted to just doing that by hand, takes some getting used to but well worth the exchange for a clean ICS Rom!
I found a fix for this issue. If you go to Melchizedeks ics from there is a "trackpad fix" zip. I will post a link later. I was having the same issue, this fixed it for me.

Silly question but how do you edit the dock every time i move a app to the dock the dock disappears peeing me right of
Help please
Hold and drag the app you want to move to the dock
I believe it's a little different in sense 5. I think you have to do it while in the app drawer. You can't drag an icon on to it while in a home screen. Could be wrong as I've not got the phone yet.

Your correct, you need to be in Apps menu in order to edit the Dock.
