Anyone know why #ModADroid-Galaxy-Tab IRC is invitation only now?
edit: With apologies from Deodexed, it is now open again! Information below:
Server: irc.freenode.net
Channel: #ModADroid-Galaxy-Tablet
It is now in the channel #ModADroid-Galaxy-Tablet, don't ask me why.
Which Android IRC client do people prefer around here?
AndroIRC seems to work well on my tab.
I like Android IRC, it works well with lots of servers/channels. Also, andchat is very popular but I have problems with it connecting to 1 channel (all the others worked) so I switched.

Thank you. Maybe burningembers can add this info to his first post!
Thank you. Is there a way so when I use AndroidIRC it saves these settings? If I reboot or turn off the device I would have to re-enter everything again? I believe the server information will save. Just not sure if the # information would.

it saves in yairc
below the server there should be a join channels (or something along those lines) area where you can input the information. If not there is a connect command field where you could just put in /join #ModADroid-Galaxy-Tablet

Awesome. I've just found my new home.
Is there a compatible client for Android? AndChat says "You need to connect via SASL."
Edit: I got it working. I had to use the web client to register, then enter my username/password in AndChat.
Hi all. Since I noticed so many of our threads wind up pointing people to #lg-g2 on freenode for help, I have set up a simple webchat client for noobs to IRC to use.
http://androidchat.org/chat.html is the address.
Simply type in #lg-g2 as the channel, type a nickname (consider using your XDA username), type the captcha, and you're in!
I am not sure how strong my server is or how my host feels about IRC stuff, so we'll see how long this lasts hope you enjoy it!
