Hi!
Can somebody tell me how can I unlock an original, unrooted (T-mobile) X8 to be able to use a SIM cards from an other service providier?

Go to an Service Center which has SEToolBox 3 or credits for x10unlock.com Or you buy credits there.

Setool cant unlock xperia now. Only provider code or x10unlock.com

LOL I thought the solution will be a simple program, or something like HSPL, or a custom bootloader I've a fully h*cked HD2, with gingerbread, so I thought that if I can change entire operating systems then unlocking will be very easy
So if I flash a custom ROM then it will not unlock the phone?
@X10Unlock they give only 10 credits with 1 account... and I have 1 phone...

Look for someone where you live who offers unlocks or in the internet (USB over Internet)

Is it really that easy to unlock the vibrant?

I was told that if i root the phone and then install busybox and Galaxy_S App that my phone would be unlocked? would this work for att and when i go to brazil?

For a while there was galaxy unlock app that worked for me and others (and not for some). It only required root to use and it would spit out your unlock code.

I've used that app on a friends phone who went out of the country. It couldn't find the unlock code, but I used the second option and it patched a folder. It worked great. Unlocked in seconds. VERY EASY.

You get an unlock code (from t-mobile or hacked) put a foreign sim card (at&t works) reboot phone. It'll ask for code. You put the code in and it's unlocked.

What is the way hacked? The phone has no service atm

No you need to unlock it ,If you go Brazil or other country means you need to unlock your samsung Vibrant Phone,After unlock it use with any GSM Network Sim card.I haven't used that Apps Unlocking,You can better get the unlock code from the site

Get SGS Unlock from the Market. The free one might work (for me it didn't), but the one that is not free got the job done.

Unlocking galaxy s and s2

Hi guys, I have the chance to buy new sgs2 but it is locked to the network that I am not using,so how hard is it to unlock the phone for someone who never rooted,ported or anything like that? Also I will give my sgs1 to my brother,so I have to unlock it too because we are not on the same network... also now on my sgs1 I am on 2.2.1 but it came with 2.1 ,And I can't upgrade it to 2.3.5 thru kies . So ,am I going to get the update when I unlock it from the network? Thanks

I'm pretty sure theres a free app on the market that will give you your unlock code if your phone is rooted. Not too sure about the galaxy s 2 but I think chainfire came up with some method for an unlock. Your probably best asking over the the sgs2 forum for an unlock.

Desimunlock your phone:

Hi, i saw there was an free way to desimlock for free our wildfire with adb, or terminal emulator.
This is the same way as the desire and would know if that realy work ? I will change operator soon, and i don't want to pay again for my willy .

Dont know what u talking bout... but in my case mine was locked on one network and after a s-off, rooted, and installed custom rom it could work on any network... not that i needed it but tried and it worked

Yes i understand desimunlock as google says is on france
Mine was locked too, and when i rooted it and installed cm7 all lock was gone.
I followed this guide

But someone may say that will not unlock it, who knows, worked for me.

But That will not unlock it , im already s-off and use custom rom and custom recovery .

You must unlock by imei,this how i've locked without loosing guarantee.My network is Orange Romania.I made it on line and cost 25 lei(4,5 euro).

Trust me,i"ve tried at home.It not possible.Only solution is that i described .I have another phone,galaxy ace and with a program from market, i've unlocked(Orange Romania).Lg phone are not that easy to unlock!

It's coded in a partition which includes imei. When I lost my imei during a bad kdz flash my phone unlocked itself. So the only possibility for the time being is to unlock at your local shop or order a code.

Hi! I just bought a new phone for my wife and I'm confused how to get this phone network unlocked because she got it through a contract.
I installed Slimkat ROM and it's working very very fast for this a bit slow phone, but I can't get it to work on my network (different one than my wife's).
I would like someone to help me network unlock it - FREE if possible. I don't like paying to unlock a phone because I unlocked all my phones by myself & help from this XDA!
