Good question.
I wanna know the same thing
With Root Explorer go to: /data/data/com.android.settings/files/wallpaper
copy the file wallpaper to /mnt/sdcard connect ur phone in diskdrive mode to ur PC. rename the file wallpaper to wallpaper.jpg and there u have it.
With this method u can only save ur current wallpaper.

Hi
Ive deleted the sense lockscreen apk from my rom (unlocks fine with vanilla lockscreen now)
but when phone rings whilst locked, the sense lockscreen still shows.
is there either an APK or some other file i can delete so the phone will show vanilla lockscreen when it rings?
thanks
Extract your ROM's com.resource.apk file from the system folder and inside you will find a folder named res. In that res folder search for anything that has "lock" in its name and replace those files with what you see fit (if you just delete them you may not be able to answer the phone ). The files i mentioned should be in /res/drawable-hpdi .

Click to collapse
Nice work, soldier
Just what i needed to know
Worked a treat
Cheers
So what exactly did you replace the files with?
I would like to have the same done to my phone.
You can replace them with a lot of things. If you want a large choice, just get the files ffrom a Sense HD rom and pick from there, if not you can basically put anything you like in there as long as you keep the original names.
I've recently installed the Nexus S live wallpaper in my SG3 but unfortunately it didn't work. Then I've un-installed the live wallpaper but whenever I'm going to set the live wallpaper (from Home --> wallpaper --> live wallpaper), I can still see the live Nexus S live wallpaper there (which I've already un-installed). Even if I select it, the application closes forcefully.
My phone is on the stock 2.2 but rooted. I've even used the titanium back and roo explorer to find the apk file corresponding to the that live wallpaper.
Can anyone please help me to find out the path of the live wallpaper apk file path (in phone memory or sd card) so I can manually delete the file.
Thanks in advance.
/system/app/livewallpapers.apk delete this one. use root expl
I reinstall the app and then uninstall it - by this way, the problem is solved now.
Many thanks for your help.
Hi to everybody.....
I know that until now i'm starting to be boring but !!!! Finally i have managed to install Dorimanx-ROM. Now i have some questions:
1. How to delete EMail.apk, i tried with some file explorer and i can't do it ?
2. How to put my own ringtone mellody ?
3. How to put normal wallpaper , because i don't like this "slideing" wallpaper, i want for each page normal wallpaper picture.
Hopeing to get answers ... Thanks and regards
P.S. I'm Newby
1. 2ways :
Open zip with for example winrar but DONT unzip just "look into "it and go to system/app or if it's not there to data/app and delete the apk, then reflash.
Or you use root explorer on your phone and delete it the same way and reboot.
2. There are several apps on the market being able to do this for you its the easier way
3. Install a different launcher or go to the launcher the rom has and see the settings for the option disable /enable wallpaper scrolling.
Hope this helps you and is a thanks worth for you.
Sent from my HTC Pyramid using xda premium
Will try that thanks
Is there anyway to get the clock from the Virtuous Galaxy Rom onto other roms?
I really like its simplicity and it goes with the rest of my widgets (Palmary Weather etc ..)
Help would be much appreciated !

It is not very hard, what you need is 5 files:
com.samsung.device.jar, twframework-res.apk,twframework.jar, these are from the folder in /system/framework.
com.samsung.device.xml, touchwiz.xml, both are from /system/ect/permission.
the permission of all files should be set to (owner: rw Group and others: r)
So you should get these files from View attachment Samsung_Package.rarthen place them to the folders and then put the apk that you want to the system/app, and set the permission of all files you put(rw r r). Reboot and it is ready for you.
I tested this method. The weather widget of samsung I am using @ Villain Rom.
Download Root Explorer.. open root explorer and create new folder theme at "data/system/"..
Now u can changing lock screen/lock screen wallpaper and theme for CrazyMiui ..
it doesnt work for me... do i need to give special permissions to the folder?
