Hi all, newbie to this and hope you can help.
I have managed to place android onto my sd card and it appears to be running ok, froyoStone 2.2 with 2.15 radio.
The problem I have is I can us the internet over wifi however I am unable to connect via 3g / HSDPA on t-mobile uk. What is throwing me is I can still connect to market and download, I can still use youtube and I can web browse by opera mini, via the 3g but none of the other browsers, eg google or skyfire.
I get the time out code HTTP error 504.

I dont know why. When I connect internet by wifi, the IE was locating in long time, and then inform that can not open this page, or can not find out this page (ex: www.xda-developers.com). But if I use opera browser, everything ok, go to web fastly. I try change to other ROM version, and now Im using Fiara Rom 3.2, its still happen. If connect to internet by PC via USB, the IE works fine.
Would anyone like help me to fix that problem??? or explain for me why??? Thanks everyone!!!

I just bought my Touch HD and everything is working great except of my internet. I have an EDGE account (We don't have 3G yet) and it's going a bit sloppy.
Though my Weather application works fine, i can't connect to the internet through Opera nor through Internet Explorer. It just says "ERROR" in big red letters.
If i connect through WiFi, i can't connect as well.
Now the weird part is that the youtube app, works great with EDGE, but it doesn't with WiFi.
I also haven't got a clue how to install my GPS properly so it would work with Google Maps?
Please help me a.s.a.p.

Certainly not an expert on this, but are you connecting to the internet through a proxy?
I have one situation .......... I use my HD2 on a WCDMA, UMTS network and since yesterday I cannot use Opera or Internet Explorer ( always get one error message : you tried to acces the adress....... * Make sure your internet connection is active and check wether other application that rely on the same connection are working ). My connection is active since I can use Weather Update also YouTube but only can't connect when I try to use Opera or any other web browser. I hard reset my HD2, I put back original ROM .........even original SPL. So my HD2 is as he was when I bought it. I tried also to reinstall with and without SD Card. I need help , thnx in advance

There is a problem with my Touch Diamond 2 phone and it is about the connection with WiFi. I recently updated the rom to manilla 2.5 because HTC has made a rom update on their site for us as users for free so I decided to update it. But now I have a problem that I haven't had before and that is that if I connect to wifi and enter the passkey it is all right connected, but when I open the opera internet browser or just want to update the weather in the HTC menu it says that it has no connection or I get a red page with some error information like 'Can't connect to server..'. It do show the 2 arrows that means that it has connection. It also has a IP address in the settings but still no connection. If I connect to normal 3G or HSDPA network it has fast internet and works fine (but it costs money of my mobile subscription of course... )
If anyone could help me I would appreciate that much!
btw: I googled already but the posts on forums that I could find are like half so there is no solution brought because people are giving no answer. I hope that you guys could help me out with this

The new roms that i have tried have not had the WIFI Auto On feature. to install this feature ack again install this cab it works just like the old wm6.5 ROMs

This cab allows the WIFI to auto start whenever you open Opera or check e-mail etc.....

I have a strange mobile internet problem with android on my HD2 Black Leo. When I use WinMo I can use mobile internet but with android it stopped working. It only worked in the beginning when I just put on Android and then afther awhile it stopped working completely. I can see the 3g and HSPA logo but the up and down arrows show no activities and I cannot connect to the internet. no app can connect. I can only use wifi to connect. I tried to resset the apn manualy but no luck I have a Tmobile NL contract with a dedicated internet connection. So it should be no problem, and as stated before I do have internet with windows mobile. Just in android I do not have it.
Can any of you gus help me out. I would really appreciate it.
