i have flashed the CM7 roms and stuff and everything is fine! but when i lock it, it would keep turning on randomly and turns off then on and off please help me ASAP!

Shrug, try wiping caches
Try wiping caches... otherwise fix permissions?...If nothing else.. just start over...redownload the latest cm7, do a full wipe, and re flash...

Hey guys,
My wife is having a very strange problem with her G1 - I haven't seen anything like it before.
Basically, everything is working fine except for the actual Dialer. When she goes to make a call, it just sends her back to the home screen, and her signal disappears.
Any idea what could be causing this or have any of you experienced anything similar?
She's running Cyan 4.0.4 with the latest radio, if that's any help.

I would wipe just to make sure everything is correct and fresh.
supremeteam likes to wipe (especially other people's wives)
You will most likely end up wiping anyways but there is a chance that reflashing the rom then radio will fix the problem without loosing any information. If you're not worries about loosing the information then go ahead and wipe, flash rom, then flash radio.

Ssshhhhhh...Don't let the cat out the bag.
Factory reset from within the OS itself (not the recovery menu) appears to have sorted it.....! Thanks guys.

Yeah just reflash. I had a lot of problems with cyanogens new rom. My phone kept rebooting, signal would go out, ect.
ll, I am still running 4.2.5 on rooted Magic. I tried upgrading a while back but found that I had to re-flash the Navigation piece i downloaded here. For some reason it is still failing to show up, even after clearing cache and rebooting.
Am I missing something. The instability of 4.2.5 is starting to get to me...

Im aware that I have to re-flash everytime I get a Cyano update, but are you telling me I have WIPE as well?? May not be worth the trouble....
when i opened the camera app, the phone rebooted itself and now it is stuck on the bootanimation logo. This happened to me 3 times allready but it always goes back to normal. Anyone know what to do, i don't wanna factory reset it.
Tried restarting it with the power button, tried removing battery and i tried rebooting through phils CWM recovery and still always goes back to the bootanimation logo.

I'm Using omega Rom V7 with the new adam kernel v1.3
Also my camera was fine with the stock kernel, i think the new adam kernel made my camera app worst.

It might b problem of omega rom. Just reflash it while wiping data and caches.

If you don't want to do a full wipe don't even bother flashing it again.
The whole purpose of re-flashing is that you are having a problem with
the camera.
A clean install of Omega rom should clear it up.
But a dirty flash will make no difference at all.
Backup your apps using titanium backup or some other backup app so you don't loose your apps.

When i first flashed the omega rom, i did do a full wipe, worked fine until the camera app crashed for the 3rd time. I don't mind doing a full wipe, it's just i did some tinkering with my phone and i have to start again if i have to do a full wipe lol
Always do a full wipe when having problems.
I understand it can be time consuming, i have dirty flash many times and still had the same problems.
If the new flash doesnt work search the Rom thread, i read somewhere of a similar issue.

So I went back to Omega, but found that it would let me install the rom but when I reboot it hangs at the splash screen. I have tried factory reset, format data, cwm, twrp, philz touch and get the same outcome. I have tried fixing permissions after formatting the data as well. Anyone got any ideas how I can get my phone to reboot after installing or recovering would be really really welcome.

Return to stock, and then, try flashing again.
For the latest 4.3 ROMS , you need the latest recoveries,otherwise they just give errors.
Also for deleting unwanted apps and other junk, try ROM CLEANER

im having same trouble except i have had the trouble ever since i installed TWRP 2.6, stalling on splash screen, i it usually fixes itself after a 10 second hold of the power button but it is annoying. Any solution arise at all?

I'm flashing the stock home.tar file but still getting stuck at samsung flash screen. Even stock isn't getting me past this! Still able to flash and boot once of the flashed roms or recoveries though. Anyone got any ideas for me please???

i updated my Galaxy S4 I9505 to Snapshot M12. Still got freezes when i charge it overnight (its connected to the original charger the whole night). I only can do a hard reset to use my device again because the touch-screen doesnt work then. This is very annoying because i use my device with Alarm to get up in the morning.
I already did a few clean installs, wiped all caches and formated all data and Cache aswell. Still freezes. Sometimes i get them from waking up my device (mostly in the morning between 5-6 am). I already sent a few errors through the integrated report-System. But ist still not fixed.
Any ideas ??? I really Need help with this !!!

I suggest new kernel, googy max is compatible with cyano, I use and the battery have more life....
i thought the same but i wasnt sure. i tried all but not kernel. i always use the kernel that comes with cyanogenmod. i tried a few modems and still doesnt work

I made a clean install. wiped everything, formated cache and data, then install
EDIT: I installed Googy Kernel now. I see tomorrow if my problem is fixed

The only ideas is revert to m11, maybe solve our problem....
I installed cm11 fresh again. But i dont think my problem is gone.

Update Again freeze...
at this point I think it is a problem of cyano. Try other rom. The cyanhacker ...
I reverted to Stock and rooted from the beginning. Now im on Snapshot m12. I had to flash GNG8 Modem again. But i flashed only modem. Before i always installed Modem and Nholos. I think that was the Problem.

OK, first day and no freeze. I hope it is fixed now.
2nd day no freeze. I think modem and Wifi fix/NON-HLOS was my problem.
