No offense, my friend, but spamming the forums everywhere with the same info in all caps is just a bit obnoxious. I mean, do what you want, but expect people to be annoyed.
read my post on RyanZA fix in batch file. tried V1 and V2.3, both have bugs.
This fix was stable for me, but there is a catch too. the limit for app data storage is 130mb, will you ever go over, i dont know. i didnt yet.

I tried RyanZA's 2-3 batch file fix and I'm not having any problems...to which bugs are you referring?
The bug I’m aware of happens with apps that store data (such as texture) on the sd card outside of the new partition. Some games such as Asphalt 5, Homerun Battle 3d, heavy Gunner, maps... This is a problem with all the lags fixes. If you don't use those apps or apps like that it probably won't affect you.
For instance the load times for Homerun Battle were three times longer on start up, if it started up. I had several times where my phone just shut off. If it eventfully did start it would run fine. Chainfire talks about the bug in his thread found here.

Played around with maps, gps on/off, zillow app., switching back and forth and phone froze on Alpha 1 as well as 2.3. Also this is a know issue and I got it too, on 2.3 I was not able to change fonts. And I hate default font
When i use RyanZA lagfix it works but when i reboot the phone everything gets screwed up anyone have this problem itll take ages to boot up and when it does alot of force closes and widgets outta place etc
Use chainfire. I believe it may be the safest, easily the most automatic one.

My vibrant seems to be a bit bogged down and not as awesome as I first got it. There seems to be a little lag on live wall papers, when using a live wallpaper and going to my app window, it slightly lags, etc.
How do I make it run like new besides a factory reset. (ive done 3 already)
Delete cache.

Good video, but which lag fix do I use? I see a lot of people are having trouble with the lag fixes.

After hours of research for a lag fix, I am yet to be decided. Everyone seems contradictory and there seems no sure set way to do it. I do not want anymore problems on my phone.
I did root using that video in literally 5 minutes though.
Is there any EXACT guide on to how to install a root fix.

I've been on the latest EF02 with the EF10 modem without a single problem. Some have issues, some dont so it's hit or miss
I have also been running the EF02 with EF10 modem since samfirmware released it. Only issues I have is sometimes GPS quits but I don't use it enough to care right now, some programs are not available to me via the market for now ie. MLB At Bat but Netflix works awesome so not a bad tradeoff, the Flex9 keyboard I can't use because I cannot for some reason turn the underline off. It constantly underlines everything I type in email. As far as the physical keyboard at least for me no it's not fixed, it still skips inputs. All in all though I'll take it over Froyo personally because my Epic was a pain with Froyo and EF02 DID solve the annoyances I was having Froyo such as crap battery life, random shutdowns and reboots, programs freezing etc.

The GPS thing is going to be a problem for me especially next week. Is there a workaround?
EF02, no issues at all (including GPS).
Some people have no issues at all(me) some people have annoying issues like no sound, no gps Etc.
Just give it a try, it is usable daily though.

I dunno AnonymousRom i3 was definitely not a daily driver for me. Constant USB disconnect bugs, bluetooth audio streaming stopped working half the time, gtalk with video never worked after flashing the update, some of my apps were not showing up in market to redownload, etc. I went back to SRF 1.2

+1 word for word, but I can't get gps to work at all, I'm using text NAV now, but I'm ok with that, because battery life is amazing now, and I love the GB battery monitor.

It's working perfectly fine for me, the only issue I have isn't my hardware keyboard skipping but it locking in the menu option and my keys redirecting me to apps and I have to reboot to fix it. That's been the only issue I've had, other than that I'm running smoothly.
Download GPS Status from the market.
Download GPS Aids and also use Marcusant's new ACS Bamboozled at acsyndicate.net
It's a better version of i3

Yea been playing it, can get a little laggy on the shift but no where near as bad as the OG EVO (heh)
PS3 controller will be a nice addition, just gotta be on CM7
I can't get it to load into a new game.

It installed fine and ran good for me. Gets laggy somtimes though.
Edit: I was messing around and discovered the cheats on the same for PC. Like GUNSGUNSGUNS for all... Guns work. Lol and im gonna mess around with the img file today to see if i can add car mods and etc. Like PC.
Got it running on mine, took quite a while to get all the extra files downloaded but it runs. Albeit a bit laggy at certain spots.
Well this sucks. I was going to purchase this today and now it's not even showing up in my market. When I go to it online it keeps saying that my device is not compatible with this app.

Same for me, just clear market Data and cache in the manage applications menu and reload the market. Then search for GTA 3 and it should be like the 2nd or 3rd app in the market search,
Although I can say it doesn't run smooth enough for me on the shift to play it. Works great on A100 tho

Once I clocked it up to 1.6ghz I played with it for another 30 minutes , and I can say it played better at that point (was playing at 1.4 before). Although there still were noticeable framerate drops alot of the time, but it was alot better than getting 10 frames a second 70% of the time.
At 1.4 there were times that the sound would keep cutting in and out, and I probably got 1-2 fps. Most of the time it was when I hit other cars or started speeding as fast as I could. (thats what GTA is about tho right? xD)
Keep in mind too I was on Sense so that may make the experience different from AOSP users.
So, I bought the game when they first launched but never downloaded it, when I tried to download it my device wasnt supported anymore lol so I had to google it up and found version 1.1 apk and I had the issues like the ones described in this post already.
Luckly enough a couple days ago the apk got updated to 1.2 and all I can say is that is very playable if you are in my situation you just need to download the apk (google it) I had installed the SD files already ( the ones for adreno gpu) because I actually bought it.
But if you want to try it you can get the sd files too from the black internet market :0
Im running Supreme sense, dodge kernet at 1.6 on demand, I bet the version 1.2 runs way better on a AOSP room plus you can use an external controller, but still I'm already progresing thru the game almost to the second part of it.

Yeah, I have it on the A100 too, its runs like a beast, I can't say for my shift though, since I'm waiting on a replacement. On my A100 though, the buttons don't quite scale right, making movement a little wierd other than that, fine though. Someone on AOSP (a mostly clean, not bloated AOSP) should try it and see how it plays.
