Hi iam looking for the best nand Android for me.
I would like to have one with dutch in it.
Now I use stock Leo version 2.2.
But I find the battery life very bad and I also would like to use version 2.3
Anyone got a suggestion?
Thankyou!

Hi, just got my HD2 and i've been reading a lot about these "ROM"'s.
First of all, even how much i search, i simple can't figure out what rom precisesly is, and what it does?
Secondly, i got this ROM: 1.43.403.1 (70315) DAN
I believe DAN means Danish, as im a dane
But what new ROM do you recommend that i get?
lucky guy... danish version 1.48 is already out on the official htc support page:
http://www.htc.com/dk/SupportViewNews.aspx?dl_id=798&news_id=399
Nice, but what will i gain by updating this software? As said, I have no idea what this ROM do?
new wm6.5 build (21869, was 21864)
new sense build (2.5.1921, was 2.5.1920)
driver updates and minor fixes (calendar bug etc).
the rom is really faster and more responsive than with 1.43-roms.
Thanks for the fast reply.. I will update my ROM right away then
Hi all, I am new to rom cooking and this is the first rom I have ever made.
Thanks Bobsbbq for the tips.
What I have done: changed the htc english IME to htc CHT IME, taken from stock HKCSL rom. Other things stay the same.
Here is the link: Click here
To install, follow the instructions here
Known Issues:
1. For some reasons the items in the start menu do not go into the right folder like in the tmous stock rom
2. After like an hour of playing it seems like with the CHT support the phone runs less smooth
It's a bit little too late as I already have LostInAsia ROM installed. It works OK so far, but I lost ALL branding.
Yes I was thinking if I am a little late as well
But then what I really wanted is the stock Tmous rom and the CHT support and that's all. I actually tried the LIA rom it's good but don't really like the fancy graphics.
Anyway what do you mean by losing all branding? In LIA rom or my rom? This is my first time cooking so I really want some feed back to help improve my cooking skills.

He means he lost all of the TMOUS branding. Which to each his own but for me that would be a good thing

Hi, I like your rom, but do you put other Chinese input come from Taiwan HTC rom for HD2 that would be great. I don't like too fancy so the default one is which I like used. I can found only one Chinese input from you rom, otherwise it is great for me.
@makino, This is quite a nice rom, good job cooking it from the HK version. However i was wondering if there is any way to cook the rom to full CHT instead of WWE?

I also want one of this kind rom,ha ha...
Thanks for posting the ROM. But the thing is that I can't download from depositefiles ... I think it's the country block or something. Is there a mirror download site? Thanks again.
I think I need to learn how to cook ROM to add CHT support on my own; in addition, I also have to know how to flash offical ROM without flashing radio, so is it possible to flash offical ROM from Hong Kong version without radio?

Hi, thanks for the amazing work. What I want to know is. Is it possible for you to make a separate .cab file for the CHT menus? I have Josh's T-Mobile test rom flashed on my HD2 and want to keep using it, so a stand alone CHT menu pack would be ideal.
Thanks!

check out the stickies at the top of the dev forum... you will need to flash a stock ROM from SD card. this will overwrite ROM and HSPL.
Just read before you do anything so you know what is happening and how to do it.
I saw there was an official WM update for HD2 Europe today.
Has anyone tried it?
I don't use WM, but was wondering if it has any advantages for running android, (speed, battery life?)
http://www.htc.com/europe/SupportViewNews.aspx?dl_id=1043&news_id=782
Edit: maybe this isn't that new? Pocketnow posted this today though?
Today ?
The stock 3.14 ROM is not that new, and yes, this works great for running Android, it's got the required radio version and the rest of it just works as expected.
Hi Guys haven't been here for a while was wondering if they were ever able to get the Android Rom from the Chinese HD2 on to the Tmobile HD2?

yes indeed, very stable, very fast.
I remember when we first saw this ROM a few months ago and were like "OMG we have to get that on the HD2"...
I still use a MIUI ROM on my HD2, along with 3 others

which MIUI should I get? what's the standby mA with 3G on?
Is this rom for the CHINESE HD2 (Hardware), or is this rom a chinese rom for the HTC HD2 (original htc hardware)?
It's originally form Chinese developers but jan-willem3 has done a great job to translate and port it to our HD2s. I'm using it on my HD2 for about 3 months now and I have no problems with it whatsoever.
So, it WAS in Chinese language but now it's in English + other languages [EN, DE, ES, FR, NL, ZH, IW, IT]
If you want to try MIUI on your HD2, I can assure you that this thread is the right place for you:

Hi,
I have a dutch vodafone HTC HD2 and I want android on It. I did that in the past, but after a month or so It's getting really slow.
Should I take NAND or not? Or maby a more stable android rom?
My experience sais that WM6.5 with android on SD is the best?
Wat do you think?

Hi, I just wanna share my experience..
I tried all combination and ended up with Dual WM 6.5.x and SD Android.
For WM 6.5.x, I regularly switch between Platinum, Omega and Energy.
For SD Android, I regularly switch between Jaguaralani (with MIUI) and MCCMBOXMAXX (with new htc sense UI)
I m not saying they are the best, but they are indeed quite stable and friendly for everyday use
Cheers...
