Before I upgrade to NAND Android ROM I would like to backup my WiFi/BT MAC address.
How to get BT MAC from WinMobile ?
with the new NAND builds, the mac address could be:
1- fixed [00:11:22:33....]
2- http://www.gitorious.com/linux-on-w...mmit/4c31f2fb265ae68b82ed5e8ea4bec91208837011

After i flashed nand rom: imilkas_hd2z_nand_v1.1
It uses the real wifi mac address, but a custom or fake mac address that is the
00:11:22:33:44:55 is better for me
so how can i change it back?

Can a developer add the option to read a file to change the Wifi and Bluetooth mac addresses in NAND similar to what we have in the startup.txt in SD version?

no not all have the same mac address, i think its mainly the hd builds that have a hacked around mac address
I've the same problem, but i use the sd version of android, in the forum i've found only the nand solution, and trying with the sd version it doesn't work.
Is there a way in order to change the mac address in android lauched from sd?

"set cmdline "wifi.mac=00:12:22:22:33:44""
but it doesn't work
the problem is when me and my brother access to the same ap, with identical mac an internal error occur obviously

Can anyone help me on how to change the wifi mac address of any nand rom as i need to put my original wifi mac address instead of generated one by nand rom.
I need this action because i'm using my work wireless network which recognize only my old windows mac address and bypass the proxy with that address.

To my work, I can access to the WIFI by giving my MAC address. I gave my MAC address, and ok, I had access.
However, I flashed the rom CloudyG3 and following this, no access to WIFI... I've realized that my MAC address had changed (and I saw I 'wasn't alone in this case) ... So I did a new request for an access with the new MAC address, and it doesn't work ...
