The police can then read all your data off your phone via hardline, IR, or Bluetooth. This includes phonebook, handset data, sms, mms, SIM data, multimedia, and time and date stamps.

I heard this on the radio this morning. It sounded like it has been going on since iphone upgraded to iOS 4. In michigian the police can take your iphone and plug it into some sort of hardware that pulls all your info from GPS and phone calls! The info is also uploaded to itunes, WTF!!!
feeling even better right now about owning a android
It handles 3000+ different phones so I wouldn't assume Android is excluded.
