In case you're waiting just like me for the greatest Nand DesireZ's build by Dandiest. Now, it is here:

This build is very very fast....
Add. info: Dandiest mentioned that once he get some info that sd version is more stable, he will upload nand version as Nand version is not easy to rectify.
For those who want to test nand ver. you may PM him.

The build is not yet uploaded, just the info about nand added. But you created a thread to mislead people as the build is available to download.
Anyway I can understand, you are very eager to try the build as me.

it's nice that he included the Arabic support
in fact all the chefs should add it !! cause it is just adding 2 files in "LIB" folder !!

He said, the greatest Nand DesireZ's build by Dandiest
never tried before but will have a look when it is released.
however, it is a squashfsed nand version...
I was waiting for this build since the nand is available ! There is not Desire Z NAND based build for now. Really happy, considering the capacity of Dandiest to make good work !
The Best Android BUILD for HD2!
I waiting the NAND Version...Upload soon.
Thanks.
Hope NAND version can be used in EU Leo 512 without SD (just like DFT Desire build)

Have you not tried imilkas desire z Nand build. I'm using it now with the gingerbread keyboard nokn956120 appealed for to get it fixed for the new sense builds. The build is working great, very responsive and a joy to use.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898708
What with the desire z having 512mb ram and 800mghz processor compared to the desire hd having the new faster 1ghz processor and 768mb ram, the desire z is better suited for the hd2 but I will definitely try this one out when it is available

Sorry for off topic. But where can I find the gingerbread keyboard you mention. I am using imilkas nand desire z too, and the gingerbread keyboard would be great.
I have a hd2 with nand android and a G2 and I can say from rooting both and installing cyanogenmod 7 that the g2 is twice as fast than the hd2 and has a better gpu!
I disagree. I have both as well. I recently took my HD2 w/ NANDroid out, still loaded with a ROM since the inception of NANDroid, and compared the two and my HD2 was so smooth compared to my G2. My G2 is running Virtuous Lite and very little additions. I will always love my HD2 far more then my G2

Are there ROMS avaliable or just SD Card boot for the HD2, if there is a ROM, can I have one as similiar to the EVO as possible?
Thanks
This might be moved to Android dev general... But it's a good question, the roms are made from the desire hd, is this because it is a gsm android?
I would like to see a evo rom on my hd2, if possible...
A NAND rom is not yet available.... I believe we will have one soon.... September if I'm not mistaken
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
correct, not sure why we don't have any evo roms, but yes, nand should be working next month.
The quick answer is yes and no.
The long answer begins like this: There are a lot of roms on here ready to be loaded into your SD card and started. There isn't any that can be flashed to NAND yet.

Try out the shubcraft rom. This is not a desire or nexus one build. You end up with HTC HD2 in your info section. I believe this is because it builds its own files on first startup. This also allows the build to have a download size of about 80mb only.
Hi,
As per my post at link below, I've been running Android on my UK O2 HTC HD2, the Mod CyanogenMod-6.0.0-N1(shubCRAFT 1.5_by shu8i), Android 2.2 (booting from SD card).
My question is... Is there a better, more stable version out there and if so which? I must admit, if the Desire HD Rom is available and works, I'd like to try it if someone can point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
MM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10360093
shubcraft is such an old build. probably almost all builds available now are better. you should try darkstone superram.
I tried the most of roms. Darkstone superram with sense or without sense ist the best, very fast and stable.
Sense HD is still on tests because of some Bugs, but you can try Desire Z from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881937
This rom has almost the same functions like Sense HD and it's fast. Try it without the included Androidapps and do your own apps on it ! That makes a big difference of quickness
2 reasons, why I would use Sense HD or Sense Z instead of Darkstone superram with sense:
1 - Because of the Internet conection through the PC (without W-Lan)
2 - The Location-App : It's cool to have the Maps already on your phone
So if someone know how to do these both functions on the Darkstone superram sense possible, please let me know!
I hope, I helped and want to be helped

Upgrade to a NAND version... Nexus One Build by Tytung is my choice... MDJ also makes a nice build.
Hi,
Thanks, I've been running the Darkstone rom this afternoon and have got it all set-up and it seems to be charging ok too without having switched off once which is great.
One further question though, concerning the 'genie' is it, news and weather widget which doesn't seem to be included on this build, can i get it for the 2.2.1 build as I found it very useful?
Thanks again

The best build for me is MCCM HD v4.0. Run's fast, no lag, no black screen after a call. I tryed
Desire_Z all ver and all similar Rafpigna 4.1, CoreDroid 0.4 etc. All of them are laggy and full of bugs, and shouldn't be released as that.
wanna know too
hey guys
just wondering which one should i install on my htc hd2, is it going to be android gingerbread or android froyo, and also i am going with the NAND and not the SD one. also can you please tell me your preference along with the URL of that post so then i can download and install it.
Thanks.
and also I ] prefer with the cyanogen mod. but u can go any one u like.
P.S. sorry for double post.

my favorite
nexushd2 froyo
best build ever, make sure to get launcher pro and your good
everything works
very stable
nothing great about gingerbread
is there a way i can cyanogen mod on it...cause the thing is, i am using this version right now but it is missing the radio and i love listening to radio.
ive tried a good few of sd builds and NAND ones too and the best build i have used is the MyTouch 4G build by Motoman... he has made NAND and sd builds and as far as everything working smoothly for everyday use his is the best. if you wanted to look at it here is the thread link.

Don't forget that Honeycomb is being worked on (we're not talking tablets).
Anyone cooking Android v2.3.3 yet?
Froyo coredroid
I am looking for a NAND ROM for Android 2.1-2.3 with HTC Sense.
I have been told I am looking for a stock desire ROM.
Where can I get such a ROM and what Radio do I use?
Please tell me where to get the Stock Desire ROM as I can't find it anywhere.
And I'm going to be using MAGLDR if that helps.
depends on whther you want a standard desire rom like skinks or a hd version such as imilka or rafpignas
i personally perfere the hd versions and have run roms from both the above and both produce fantastic roms
currently im using ilmilkas hd ram version which is very very fast with rafpignas 1.9 kernel
Thanks
And it will work on NAND, right?
I was going to use clockworkmod to install it.
Do I just copy it to the SD card and boot clockworkmod?
In this circumstance does the CLRCAD and HARET files matter.
you install it on nand, clrcad and haret are for booting from sd card they are not neeed when using nand
rom desire hd

You can also try HD2 CoreDroid HD. It´s a beautiful ROM, very fast, and stable. The instructions to install it are in my signature. The link is here. Let me know whar you think.

Rafdroid HD 4.0.2 is better than the actual Desire HD. My best mate owns one, my HD2 is faster and has longer battery life.
no Sense rom is better,I am sure.

As far as I know you can't just put Sense on an Android build, that simply isn't how it works (otherwise a tonne of people would have been doing it for a while now) and if you did manage to combine those, it wouldn't be usable with just 512mb of RAM anyway

The choice is up to you. My personal preference is CM7, but if you really want ICS then go for it I guess.
Its all based on what you want on your phone. Some people like sense, some like miui while others like cm7. Look at the videos on youtube and in the post of the ROM your looking at to try and get an idea of what you want on your phone. Not to complicate things but here is a list of around 300 Android ROMs for the HD2. Most are old but even many of the old ROMs still run great and are at least worth it to look at.
ok ty very much for the info!
I donwload AOKP for HD2 but not have a config for email ? (entreprise ou activesync) ! why ?
I'm using Tytungs CM9 ICS v1.5 rom as my daily rom. Had some problems initially (hot reboots once per day) but after upgrading CWM from 4 to 5.0.2.6 (not sure about exact number, the latest anyway) its been running smoothly with an occasional hot reboot. LOVE ICS, battery life is better than my old GB rom and data usage has reduced a lot.
It's no sense but you may like it

Hi m8!!
at the present there's only one ICS Sense Rom cooking, you may find it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544930
But there is a great ICS Rom available (AOKP aka IceCreamTosti) which is very smooth and stable that you can try to flash:
