Hi All,
Would anyone be able to post a copy of their CSC folder and the Optus apk's from a rooted stock firmware Optus Tab? I did a roto jme no wipe upgrade but it wiped all the optus apps, and I wouldn't mind using the mobile broadband usage program. I didn't back it up because I didn't think it would be affected with the no wipe version. You live and learn I guess!
Cheers,

I have the i9000T HKTTT version of the Galaxy S.
In KIES, the original firmware was JG5/JG7/JG4.
After a stupid action, I bricked it but managed to get it in Download mode but flashed it with the wrong firmware. I am currently using the European firmware and got the CODE and CSC consistent with the default one but the European firmware has the PHONE version of jg1.
Where can I find jg7? Would piecing together these firmwares essentially get me back to the original factory settings? How do I set my CSC?
Thanks
take look at
http://www.samfirmware.com
you have to register (its free) there to have access to the firmware section.
regards
I have already been there. Either I don't know how to read the labels or they aren't present.
I am also stuck with a half-bricked i9000T... my carrier is Telcel, from Mexico. Does anyone know if there are any proper firmwares for latin american i9000T's?
Hey! I´m from mexico too. I have a i9000T with TELCEL and I have the firmware XXJVS from samfirmware working without problems, everything work fine, also 3G.
And I have tried a lot of Roms from the I9000 forums and almost everyone works fine too.
To cut a long story short. I bought a Galaxy s4 off the father he got it free renewing his contract but hates touchscreen. Now the phone was on vodafone ireland and has all this bloatware on it which i know i can get rid of and have by rooting and using titanium backup. But im on Three service provider. Which uses a different modem and csc and pda. Plus the girlfriend get better reception on her s4 and she bought it off three.
Now ive downloaded the firmware that she is on, of one of the threads on the I9505 forum. My question is if i flash it with odin will it overwrite the csc or do i have to flash stock recovery again and wipe factory settings and then flash the firmware to change csc and pda.
I have flashed the modem that she uses but has not really helped
Hi all,
Im new here and i was wondering how i would go with setting my phone back to factory settings after it was rooted "i purchased it like this" Bare in mind i live in australia and my model is SM-G900I and im locked to the australian OPTUS network, im needing the factory rom so i can reset the phone, been trying to find on but have had no luck
Thank you
If the ROM is stock but rooted, just reset it from either settings or recovery
If it's a custom ROM, get the stock ROM from sammobile .com and use ODIN to flash it

did you try sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com. The original FW for OPTUS is available in these sites and if you can flash it through odin.
Hi
I have SM-G935T. It has T-Mobile branding. I use it in the UK, with a UK network and UK sim.
Current:
Android 7.0
Baseband version:
G935TUVS4BRC1
I believe I can install the U firmware and if i use HOME_CSC I don't lose settings?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/how-to/6-8-t-mobile-935u-firmware-qe2-t3619151
How about the F firmware ??
Is there a suggested firmware I can install without losing my apps and settings or something I can do to remove the T Mobile stuff ?
Thankyou
EDIT to add: I tried to change it from T to U. I got a bunch of errors about processes so decided to revert to T firmware.
You would have been fine if you had done a factory reset. I've converted a few phones to U firmware and they all work fine, assuming you do the reset
Hi
I bought an s10+ from ebay little did I know it was a USA phone I'm in the UK. It seems to work OK.
It does have t-mobile app and branding I'd like to remove.
Am I right thinking a stock fw for USA (U1) is the only option I have?
Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
Hi bud, Flashing the whole firmware through Odin
SAVE YOUR DATA, All content will be erased.
I´m not responsably to any damage to your device.
- DOWNLOAD the firmware through FRIJA app (WINDOWS). I´m using the code USC for example
- In odin app load ONLY the 4 firmware archives:
-BL
-AP
-CP
-CSC
DON´T load USERDATA (It has bloatware and configs from US operator)
Note: I use to flash updates by hand monthly sometimes, I think this method doesn´t allow to update OTA. If you want to update OTA you should flash the U1 version through a modded odin.
Thanks Mate. I will be wanting OTA if possible
With CSC would I be better off looking at XAA for the unbranded USA default stock rom?
Everything is working on the phone I just want rid of the T mobile stuff.
Pardon my ignorance, I haven't done anything on samsung phones.
Thanks

In that case you should go for the U1 firmware CSC code XAA, unbranded US models.
Download through frija and then use the patched Odin modded for flashing.
