Currently Samfirmware has N9005VJUBMI8 with a change list of 1697345 and a Build date: Mon, 16 Sep 2013 14:04:33 +0000 (Claro Brazil)
Model: SM-N9005
Does anyone think we can install this?
BTW N9005XXUBMI7 has a change list of 1628120 and a Build date: Wed, 11 Sep 2013 06:30:59 +0000
I seem to recall someone pointing out that we cant install different PDA codes (mine is XXU)
** bump **
You can only flash same PDA codes of same or newer firmware in my experience.

Hi,
I have a Note 4 (SM-N910G) on Android 6.0.1 that I wish to root. Surprisingly, the only root guide I found at https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/root-note-4-sm-n910c-t2977948 only covers up to Android 5.1.1.
Is it possible to root my device? If so, how?
Thanks.
Managed to root it via instructions at https://androidmtk.com/root-samsung-galaxy-note-4-sm-n910g
I know it is clearly stated there that the included root files only work for firmware build N910GDTU1DPD4. But was your case that you had the equivalent build; a lower build then you simply updated; or (the one I'm hoping for) a higher build number, but it still all works out in the end?
