Not a problem man. I like to see people with ambition. I say keep it and I am a dev myself. Other people may cause a stir but who the heck cares.
Edit: Good luck with the lock screen mod. That was the biggest pain in the butt for me on Phoenix.

Thanks,
But like I posted above I just modified the rom to work on the captivate.

Stock Android lockscreen?

For some reason, Samsung always seems to have to put its own stamp on everything.
While I don't dislike the Samsung Epic unlock slider, I like the stock Android one (with both an unlock and volume slider) better.
Is it possible to get rid of the Sammy lockscreen and use the standard Android lock on the Epic?

Almost ALL of the available ROM threads have a flashable zip on their page to replace the lockscreen with the vanilla one.
There is an apparently calls widget locker which u can put the original lock the iPhone lock sense lock or create your own custom 6+ option lock pretty cool once installed u can also use stock android home and disable the touchwiz taskbar on bottom

I use widget locker and it doesn't give me any problems. It can be a bit slow sometimes and occasionally the stock lock screen shows up but overall it's pretty good. I would recommend it, it's just $2.

You've probably hit the nail on the head there. My next question was going to be what ROM you were using... I never tried it on a odexed ROM, wasn't sure it would work on one.

Yeah I found some evidence in other threads that flashing the AOSP lockscreen mod on the stock ROM will not work (because it's not de-odexed). There is a de-odexed version of the stock ROM on the Wiki, I may try that since I'm happy with the stock ROM otherwise.
Thanks for all your help.

looks good. Will definitely try it.
And feels good to see some activity from India
I've just tried it and it's working great! The animations look great!! Good work!!!
But I have one problem and one suggestion though:
1/ The sync button (stat_sync_on.png) on the notification area is black whereas the others are white
2/ I've seen on some Gingerbread screens that the menu (the one that pops up on the bottom of the screen when you hit the menu button on your phone) was black/transparent, is it possible to do it?

If NO -> Great job nontheless..!
If YES -> Where should I put the files and install them in my Milestone? Where do I choose it so I can use it? (I have never used a Theme before..)

That is awesome! Thanks lalit79 for this theme!
The gingerbread animation ported to this mod is smooth and beautiful.
May I ask to combine this into the best theme I can imagine (yes!)? Can you add the notification bar icon for battery from Manup456 The EVO Collection (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=736487) it is ported to CM6.1 mod in HO!NO! mod here (http://forum.xdsa-developers.com/showthread.php?t=849676). That graphic is the best I ever seen and it's in the same colour (black-green) as gingerbread theme. So combining these things will be the best theme (plus black-green keyboard)!
Can you do this for us? Thanks in advance!
And once again congrats for this incredible theme!
Thanks lalit79, theme looks great!

just one question..how to make the notification power switch buttons green?
on cyanogenmod they're blue and they look pretty bad with the black-green gingerbread theme.
plus...is it possible to add this awesome animation?

CMMix Theme for CM6 - Milestone - 0.07 - 28-01

My second theme after the GB theme i made for CM. It is a mix of INexus Suave HD, Sense UI and the GalaxyS UI. It is a bit more colorful than my GB theme.
Thanks to Mark aka MrDSL of miui-dev for granting me permission to use parts of his SuaveHD theme.

Hello! You did very nice job with this theme. I've done everything as you've described and applied it. It runs flawlessly, but there is a strange problem with Facebook and Twitter widgets. It just don't want to display them. They aren't even at the widget list. I've tried to reinstall both applications and it seemed to work, but after restart this problem appeared again. Is this thing just by me or it can be related with the theme?
P.S. : I've tried to post a screenshot, but as a new user I don't have this right. If needed I'll send a PM with link
I really like that theme but I face the problem, that my SIM-Card is not recognized when the OS is started. Any ideas what to do to fix that problem?
EDIT: Problem solved, somehow my SIM-Card had a bad connection...
First of all I would like to say that this is amazingly nice! I just have some feature requests which will hopefully be considered to be added in a new version. It's a bit inconsistent with the colors, the red is missplaced in the context menue, i would be more happy with a blue-black style.
Here is my wishlist:
Flashing Bump of gingerbread, this appears when trying to over scroll
3D Menue, I just saw that with Nexus One and Nexus S for now
Gingerbread dialer, the current menue is wonderfull, leave the blue as it is =D
Gingerbread keyboard in blue with the select tool
black context menue like in gingerbread and icons in blue
browser addressbar in black
notification bar slider like in gingerbread
battery icon like in gingerbread
EDIT: I just saw that there is a gingerbread theme and that i should post that stuff in the other thread, sorry for that!

Since widgets don't work when the app is on the SD card, maybe they somehow got installed there.
Well I guess zeppelinrox was right. It's because Facebook and Twitter apps were installed on the SD card. I moved them to phone and everything was just fine.
First I tried with the default CM theme, but it happened again. Soo I think the problem is solved for now.
Is there a way to remove the ugly picture or the birds? I'd really like to have my own picture there.
And a small bug: If you have the lockscreen in landscape the sliders are not themed.

Just a thought here....I've spent a bunch of time on this theme, between searching the vast interwebs for applications that work, to editing files, to theming apps and testing them, at least 60 hours of my life have been put into this project. I don't take donations or anything, so could you guys help spread the word to all of your friends so i don't feel like I did all of this for just a few people? Or at least hit the thank you button every now and then. I would appreciate that.
Alrighty fellas, I've compiled a theme together for pretty much any android device capable of running CM7, but since I created it on my Optimus V, I'll post it here.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR ANY OF THE FILES USED IN THIS THEME, I SIMPLY COMBINED WHAT WAS AVAILABLE TO ME. Furthermore, a few of these apps are paid apps, and I cannot suppply those to you.
I'd like to give a big ol' thank you to AOSP for creating such a great base ROM to work with, nhnt11 for creating the themed menus and status bar, and the devs of all of the apps used in this project.
What is themed:
-Status Bar
-Notification Drawer
-The entire Launcher
-App Drawer
-Menus (including highlighted text)
-Widgets (Only "LP Sense UI widgets" "Toggles" and "Search" are themed)
-Keyboard
-Lockscreen
-Clock
-In-App Titles
-Boot Animation
-HTC app: Claculator
-HTC app: Music
-HTC app: Teeter
-Wallpapers / backgrounds
-Alarms
-Ringtones
-Icons
-Fonts
HOW TO FIX "ERROR INVALID_KEY" WITH FACEBOOK WIDGET
In order to get functionality from the Facebook widget back, as per THIS, you will need to uninstall the facebook app from your phone, then uninstall and reinstall LP sense ui app. From there, when you enter your credentials in the widget settings, it should work. After it is done synching and whatnot, you may reinstall Facebook app. It *should* work.
Step One
You are going to need to install a CM7 ROM with the Theme Chooser application if you want the status bar / menu themes to work. At this point, I'd like to give you this warning:
IT'S NOT MY FAULT IF YOU EFF UP YOUR PHONE, YOU ARE DOING THIS OF YOUR OWN ACCORD
#Step 1a (Skip if not rooted)
In order to install the fonts that I've included, you will need root access. There are two ways to install them: one through ADB, the other through a
market app, Type Fresh (included in the "app" folder) I feel it necessary to link to the original page for instructions. Here is the URL:
http://karuppuswamy.com/wordpress/2009/04/25/how-to-change-fonts-in-android/
Step Two
After installing the ROM, you will need to download NTSense, provided by nhnt11 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970459
Just follow the instructions on the link provided.
Step Three
Now you will need to install LP Sense UI, provided at the bottom of this thread. THIS IS NOT THE PAID VERSION, IT IS THE REGULAR FREE VERSION, HOWEVER WIDGETS DO WORK.
You will need to set it up properly for it to work. Do the following:
From Homescreen:
Menu>Preferences>Sense Mod Configuration
Set Number of docks to "1"
Dock Background>Standard (be sure to press it, even though it is selected, or else it wont work properly)
Home button on app drawer "on"
Enable auto Rotation "off"
Click to collapse
That should be it for the launcher. You can set other things how you like, I usually use "Rotate 2" as my transition, it looks great with the theme
Menu>Preferences>Homescreen Settings>Transition Effect> "Rotate 2"
Click to collapse
Step Four
You will need to purchase "WidgetLocker" from the market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker
It is $1.99 USD, but it is worth it, it is helpful for many other themes and is great as a lockscreen in general.
be sure to open WidgetLocker from the app drawer to open it in edit or "Tool" mode.
FROM "TOOL MODE:"
Menu>Settings>Enable WidgetLocker
(Skip this if you don't have root) Menu>Settings>Advanced>Root Helper>Check All Boxes, set Autoswipe Pin/Password to "Auto"
Menu>Settings>Advanced>Check "Hide Notification Icon" and "Hide Interaction Warning"
Configure the rest how you prefer.
Click to collapse
While you are in tool mode, long press every app, slider and widget and drag it to the trash bin at the bottom of the screen. Then do this:
Menu>Add>Custom Slider
Select "Sense" from the box directly underneath the picture of the slider.
Save.
You will need to long press the slider and drag it all the way to the bottom of the screen, being careful not to put it in the trash bin (or else you'd have to make a new slider )
Click to collapse
Step Five
Install any of the clocks in from the included "clocks" folder found under "apps"
Should you install the flipclock app, be warned:
NOTE: THIS CLOCK HAS NO FLIPPING ANIMATION. HOPEFULLY, I WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE ONE THAT DOES FLIP IN THE FUTURE, BUT NO GUARANTEES. I WOULD NEED A LOT OF HELP.
Step Six
In order to get the toggle widgets, such as wifi, bluetooth, gps, vibrate, silence, etc. you need to Purchase Beautiful Widgets from the Market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.levelup.beautifulwidgets&feature=search_result
I have included a brightness control and battery indicator themed to look Sense-esque. They are at the bottom of the Post.
FOR THE BATTERY INDICATOR:
1. Apply Widget to Homescreen
2. Tap on it
3. Select the "Preferences" tab in the top right corner.
4. Check every single box, especially Swap Low/High res. You can select the temperature unit of your choice.
Click to collapse
Alright Guys, have fun with this, Feel free to thank me if this helped you at all. screen shots will be posted in The Second Post.

You would head to the NTSense page and click on the link to download older versions and then get the Gingerbar theme. But since I'm nice, here is the direct link:

Dude, there's no need to be a complete d1ck. It may have some problems, but it far from sucks. Its really nice looking. I just need to know how to fox the fb widget.
Sent from my VM670 using tapatalk
You can't fix the FB widget...!!! If you want that then you'll have to purchase from LP Sense UI's blog or use an old "ahem" russian version where everything is in english... but certain parts are in russian... certain button language.
EDIT: AM NOT BEING A D1CK! I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING. I MOD MY PHONE MORE THAN YOU EVER ATE FOOD OR FARTED!
Sigh... chill out people. Just use web browser mobile version of FB for this social crap. (The whole FB is junk anyway.)

Yeah, not a D1CK at all... just cause you think you're perfect, you don't have to go around and call someone else's work a complete price of crap. There's no point. And this theme is visually appealing, which is the major role of a theme. It just has some bugs that need worked out.
Oh, and if you're so great, why don't you make a cm7 sense theme that looks an acts identical to the real thing, including all the icons, app drawer, and Widgets. You should be able to get that done in a couple hours right?
Sent from my VM670 using tapatalk
Woah chill out people. I dont want a flame war here. I didn't make any of this, its just compiled together from what's available. If you want something fixed take it up with the original Dev.

Hey, I'm sorry you feel this way, but I've posted a fix in the OP. It is not a true "fix" but more of a compromise. I would appreciate it if you would please stop posted offensive comments.
Hope it helped.

Thank you for the feedback, the statusbar problem only needs a notification to come back alive after changing theme, so plugging a usb in would also do the trick. Try enabling 16-bit transparency, that should also improve scrolling.
awesome Sound ...... try it with default music with no effect, its kick my beat headset speaker shaking ....
