Just a quick question. Will i still be able to change my lockscreen image with the new cyanogen ROM? I asked this because i noticed that when i have the ADW EX home replacement on, theres no option to change the lock screen image.

I think you could use widget locker. It has a bunch of sliders from other launchers.
See this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=847259&highlight=lock+screen
The second post worked perfectly for me.
A mod to enable the stock android lock screen would be amazing. While the Touchwiz one "allows" widgets, it only does so in unsecure mode, and still defaults to it's clock one as the first screen.

Expect a toggle for the AOSP lockscreen (stock android) in FreeGS4 soon
Hello,
I would like to replace the stock lock screen with the cyanogenmod lockscreen widget, due to the fast feel/performance and customization options. What is the best way to do this?
I am running a rooted Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4.2. Last night I installed QuickPic. I then used "Uninstaller" to remove the stock Gallery app. All was looking good until I rebooted the phone. It changed my custom lock screen wallpaper back to the default.
When I tried to change the lock screen wallpaper back to my custom image I couldn't as when you go to the home screen to edit the lock screen wallpaper, there was NO option to select QuickPic to change the wallpaper (it was just blank). Strangely. I can change the home screen wallpaper with QuickPic!
Does anyone know how I can change the lock screen wallpaper without the stock gallery app? I have searched and searched online but come up empty handed!
Thank you!

Hi mate
easiest way to remove or freeze the stock gallery is using Titanium back up.......if you freeze it is better as you can use it later if you need

I don't have issues removing/uninstalling the stock gallery app. Its once it is removed that I can't change/set my lock screen wallpaper...

Hi,
Sorry mate I misread your post.....
I got this device for my parents. So I'm not going through trouble of rooting and flashing custom roms.
So I thought to debloat all the miui stuff.
By far I've pretty much been successful, disabling apps through adb.
What I can't get around is the fact that there is a custom mechanism through which lock screen is being shown. This app called Theme manager (com.android.thememanager) is enabling something called wallpaper crousel.
Now I've disabled both, but doing so sets a default static wallpaper. I want it to be same as home screen (rotating Goohle wallpapers). But there seems no way to do it.
Any help would be appreciated, just want to get to stock lock screen or at least set same home screen / lock screen wallpapers.
I have a rick that worked. go themes than go to live wallpapers set any one live wallpaper from the themes app on both homescreen and lockscreen now go to google wallpaper app and set a wallpaper on homescreen and lockscreen this will work on recent miui 10 roms.
