Number witheld

When i make a call from my HTC HD2, my number is witheld, does anyone know how i can reverse this?

Go to Settings tab, Menu, All Settings, Personal, Phone GSM/UMTS Services tab and select Caller ID and click "Get Settings..."
Set that to something appropriate (either everyone or only contacts in this case) and click OK.

How to tell time of call in call history?

Is there a way of showing the time of each call in the call history list?

..when you click on the call you have the duration!

Thanks for your reply, but it was the time of the call, not the duration, that I wanted - e.g. call received at 6:28pm. When I click on a call it simply re-dials the number

Instead of clicking on the call, click the contact card on the right side.
This will list all calls from that number with times.

When I click the contact card to the right of the call details it either:
- does nothing (if the number is in my address book), or
- asks me if I want to add the number to my contacts (if the number is not in my address book).
Is this behaviour configurable to get it to work the way you describe?

May be default config for WM6.5.
I assume you're on WM6.1?
I tested with both calls from address book and not in address book, both gave me times.

Yes I'm on WM6.1. Anyone know if it's modifiable behaviour?

i'm using wm 6.1 stock rom, go to menu then choose call history then you can click contact card and see the date, time and duration for any number even if it is not saved to address book

but when the call is from an unknown number, it will do nothing when I press on the contact card. You can only see the date of call if the call was not received today...

What version of TF3D?
In my stock HTC/ATT Pure,Call History shows contact name/number and time of call.

I'm not actually using TF3D - I use SPB Mobile Shell 3. Is that maybe why I can't see call history for numbers which are not in my contacts?

Hi All,
if i am on a call and same time if i get another call it is not showing in my missed call list. What settings i have to do for it or any other software to install.
It is making me miss many importent calls

You need to set this on provider level. Since I can't see from which country you are I can't help you directly. Get in touch with your provider. They can tell you the settings you need to make on their server.

SELECT GSM/UMTS SERVICES: YOU WILL GET" CALL WAITING OPTION"

it will give 2 options 1) Notify me & 2) donot notify me,

[Q] Disabling incoming phone calls?

What would be the easiest way to disable incoming phone calls on the tab? I'd like to be able to make calls but not receive them.
Naturally if disabling only the inbound is impossible, I could live with disabling outbound as well.
Data should work normally as well as contact syncing with Exchange (not sure if it's related in any way to the phone...).
Current firmwares:
PDA: JME (roto v3)
PHONE: JHA
CSC: JME

You could set your call forwarding for all calls to go to a disconnected or invalid number.

Hmm.. yes why not... theoretically.
The thing is, thought, that I have multi/dual sim, so if the call from my tab is forwarded to a number not in use, the caller will get the "number not in use" message. This would make my primary phone useless and would mean I can't receive calls on my phone either.
Still think disabling break in traffic on tab is the only way to go...

It can't go to voicemail because I want to answer the call on my Desire Z. I simply don't want a call to ring on my gal tab at all.

You are telling us that both the tab and the desire are seen by the network as the desire?

I don't know how the network sees my dual SIM cards but I can't call forward to my own number from the tab. It just gives me an error message.

I would probably try flashing the radio from the TMo US Tab, as this is known not to support voice calls. This would of course disable both incoming and outgoing, and you'd do so at your own risk as it could end up bricking your Tab (though I'm doubtful of this, since TMo US Tabs will work with the Euro Tab radio).

Verizon Note 3 SMS sending problem

hello first of sorry if theard like this already exist
i search and can not find anything so open this.
i have problem when i try to send SMS
i live in Georgia
my area code is +995
when i sendind sms with only phone number without +995 it send with no problem.
but if i send message to number +995 XXX XX XX XX is did not sends. tells me sending not possible try again.
also if someone sends me SMS and i try to answer back same problem.
what should be a problem?
please help.

Turn off dialing assist in call settings.

done but still have same.problem.
just insert.another.sim.card.it.works.great but it has problem on my sim.

i can't send message when i join area code with someones no.
i can send message when 0 is placed instead of +92 i am from Pakistan
i have also upgraded to 5.0 version but no vain. also tried with "go sms " app .

I believe I have found a solution to this problem.
the solution is to utilize the Assisted dialing feature, with some modifications (phone dialer>settings button>call settings>assisted dialing [tap to edit]). When I chose the country for the assisted dialing, it correctly selected my country code as 994. However, in order to make my texts work I had to manually add in the "+" sign. now the phone recognizes the "+994" that is in all of the contacts and inbound phone numbers. texts now seem to works as they should. Also, be sure to turn the assisted dialing on.
Hope this helps all of the other travelers out there.

i removed City/Area Code value and now its working fine. SMS and CALLs working fine.
