Please ask this question and wait for an answer in the forum it belongs. Unnecessary extra threads like this cause search problems. Ather is right however, reg edit any button you want to change to open thumbcal. And reg edit the default calendar to Thumbcal. But you will not want to loose all ties to the WM6 calendar because it is what syncs through active sync. Like PocketCM this program pulls data from that defualt calendar. Thumbcal is more or less a skin for lack of better words. I know it is more than that but best I can explain it at this point.
Don't ask how to reg edit. Setting defaults and changing buttons has been explained on this site a thousand times over. So......search!
Thanks,
Curious G
i dont see how this is a dumb question or not in the right section.
where would i have to vanigate to change the button to thumbcal in regedit??
maybe possible thirdparty. i think spb mobile shell had soemthing like this but i dont want to install that just for this tweak

He is talking about placing the question in the ThumbCal thread. You got the right section of the forum, but he is going after the fact that you started a new thread for this (and you shouldn't have). Please do a little search next time before posting (and getting flamed for it )

I'm starting this thread where i will post all that small TF3D mods i wrote that do not require separate discussion.
1. Now, here's the first one:
Working analog clock icon
Installation is very simple (for ones, who modded Manila before ): copy files to windows dir, then replace icon reference nodes you like in manila.xml (Actual file name: 26948339_manila)
Code:
<ComponentReference Name="icon_normal" Mode9Path="HTC\AnalogClockIcon.mode9" Component="AnalogClockIconTray" />
<ComponentReference Name="icon_selected" Mode9Path="HTC\AnalogClockIcon.mode9" Component="AnalogClockIconOn" />
<ComponentReference Name="icon_preview" Mode9Path="HTC\AnalogClockIcon.mode9" Component="AnalogClockIconPreview" />
2. Also, i'm getting numerous requests for my iPhone iconset, so i'm posting it here too.
3. iDiamond Project (Apple iPhone interface mimic) (sorry for the video quality of 2 first videos - shot it with my old Qtek S110)
Step 1: Main Menu concept
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41yGPql8DAQ
Step 2: CoverFLO concept
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOPXualKtms
Step 3: CoverFLO progress 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hjqaMqcAbM
Step 4: Main Menu customization
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-iPOalE6Po
Step 5: Home Screen and more
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VWsOUt41X4
I was supposed to finish my paid work by this time, but it turns out to be about a month of work ahead, thus i don't know when i resume my work on iDiamond, so i'm posting an unlocked version of beta here, coz holding you off the software doesn't serve it's primary goal (motivate me to continue project) anymore.

Man, just a quick question:
If i want to add new tabs, i need to disable another to place the new tab, right?
I can't have more than usual tabs and history call AND this clock now, or your calendar, at the same time...
Cheers!
(Sorry me, im spanishs )
That's NOT a separate tab, just an "active" icon that you can assign to any tab

D-MAN666 I know that you said not to ask for impossible cause you still are learning touchflo 3D but maybe it will be possible to make a tab for coreplayer. There is already something similar in SPB mobile shell so the coreplayer could be used instead of WMP or something else (maybe corecodec could help you if you contact hem). Probably its too much but I'm sure that many would admire you for doing this. Maybe it would be possible to use the music tab as a starting point for this.
Cheers and good luck on learning touchflo 3D so in the future you could do everything with it

In the calendar thread. Order values in xml must be sequential and unique. When you install one .cab on another .cab, it just erases other tab's entry, and coz cab can only replace not patch files, you'll have to do that manually.

D-MAN666 thanks for the calender and the clock tweak they're excellent. I have got a bit of a problem though, see screenshot.. it say's "ids_calender" at the top and the menu button and also "i....." instead of the days?? Have i done something wrong or is this a bug? also is it possible to change the colour of the font? i'd like a white version if possible
Do you think it's possible to do an active Programs page, that would show you any running programs similar to a message counter? it's easy to forget what programs you've got running and the reminder on the programs page could be quite useful
P.S thanks a lot for your contribution to Manila editor i'm using it all the time at the moment and it's brilliant (are there any updates planned any time soon?)

Hi D-Man,
Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you for the splendid add-ons you have developed for TF3D. The Calendar specifically has become invaluable for many of us here at T-Mobile.
Seeing as you are our resident Manila XML expert...
For fear of cross-posting, please can I draw your attention to the following posts for the interest, advise and assistance of you and any followers of your work:

Please I need your help. I added plenty of icons on the front Program page and don't remember any more how and what I did.
Thanks for your reply.
what do you want to do ?
add more or remove them ?
and are you talking about the program menu which has a number of rows of small squares
Thanks for your prompt reply.
You know the bottom line when you scroll your finger you get several pages, such as, Home, Telephone directory ... then at the end Programs. On this last one I did add some extra icons (yes squared) to which I assigned my preferred programs. I know how to delete one or more but not how to add a new ones.
To add more Programsquares:
Registry:
HKLM - Software - HTC - Manila - ProgramLauncher
Currently there are 24 directorys. You can duplicate some an change their names to 24 - ....
In here you can even unlock some fields if your provider did so. Set IsReadOnly from 1 to 0.
I think there will be a perfomancelimit somewehre, so don´t add to much in one time.
That is OK, but I don't remember had done that to add my previous ones. I can recall that I had to pouch a command and that was all.
Anyway, you are right, I might reached the max. of 24 icons.
I think I'll follow your recommendation and avoid to add any more since that might slow down the process.
Many thanks again

I've added 6 additional fields as you explained from 24 to 29, so totally I have 30 fields now and they appear on the programs tab in TF3D.
When you click on one of them (the one I've added), it opens the program list so you can choose one but after you do so the field still blank, so to resume it's not really working despite adding the field.
hmmm... I´ve tested it on diamond an it worked fine. I´ll test it on HD... it will take a moment.

I´m sorry - it really doesn´t work that way. The link is included the right way, icon link to. But it does not show. there are really differences between TF3D for Diamond and for HD.

is it possible to increase the number of programs slot?
Would it be possible to have more than one "programs" tab?

For me, if this was possible it would massively increase the functionality of my HD.
Look forward to your answers.

If you look at the previous post, u can see that it is possible but for some reasons we are not able to add programs inside these tabs, don't know why.
It works fine on the Diamond, but not the Touch HD

Hi Mavrick
This thread is for adding more slots in the same program tabs and not adding more programs tabs in TF3D. Anyway I don't know if you proposal can be done, some expert developers might need to look at it
sorry
Basically, everything is shaping up nicely.
However, there are two things I can't seem to master.
I want HTC Black as my default theme. I can never get it to work correctly though. I'll cook in the .tsk, but fail to place the image files in the correct place some how, or something goes wrong, because at first boot the stupid att default theme is loaded and everything looks funky. In addition, eventhough I edited the .tsk to place my images as the today and start menu background, they do not show up like that.
Also, my taskbar icons never work. I'm trying to cook in Dark Ninja's Desire taskbar, but it's not working. Icons don't show up at all.
One last, unrelated question.
I want the settings "folder" in my start menu which links to the windows control panel, not sense. How can I do that and remove the sense link?
Regards
Smith
1. Cooking the theme. Look here and here.
2. Taskbar, change the priority of processing the taskbar package in your kitchen. Probably it gets overwritten and that is why its not showing.
3. Default Settings. Add this as Regtweak:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo]
"HideSettings"=dword:0

By priority, I know kind of what you're saying, but when you set priority what does that mean exactly in regards to order in which the package is installed? If it has high priority, it's installed last so it overwrites other files?
Thanks
