You have a FFC on your Vibrant? is that the one thing I heard about where you just manually put one in and use the i9000's camera app to use it? How could you trade in a G2 for a Vibrant? The G2 has FAR more dev support than most phones right now, it was like the second or first one to for Cyanogen to get 2.3 on it, that should tell you some thing right there.

No kidding. Going from the G2 to the Vibrant to a Nexus 1? Somebody needs to research their phones a little.
i have traded alot of phones on craigslist/kijiji. There are more buyers for a nexus one. Do the trade and sell the nexus one-it will be a quick sale though u might lose 50 or so, its still not too big a hit.

I would sell the vibrant and just wait for the chance for a cheap g2 to come out. I sold my vibrant for 250 and bought a g2 for 300(cheap since it was a few weeks after launch). Or hope someone wants to trade for a g2

They'll likely give you another vibrant. I just had another warranty replacement and received a stock 2.1 vibrant replacement.

If possible you should save your money up, there are a lot of good phones under 200 you can find on ebay. This phone is frustrating to use, with anything newer than donut, and this is coming from someone who has owned 3 generation of android phones(G1/MT3GS/MT4G). If you're interested in things like Ice Cream Sandwich you'll be better off with a newer device, you may not like android as much when you use a phone that's not capable.

I was just wondering the same thing. My wife's phone is shattered and haven't had time or wanted to file a claim (would be #3-$300) and I don't want to file one just for the same EVO. Due for an upgrade in the summer so I might hold off on that or buy a phone off craigslist

No I had downgrade hboot, but I had to get rootacess by htc dev first then get super user on sd, then downgrade then use revoloutinaru, pain in the ass! Never want a new evo again haha

I just deleted everything lol it just goes straight to boot loader, which says s−off lol plus has a droid killing apple splash and ra recovery lol, so kinda olbvious
