I have a problem with installing ActiveSync on my pc (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit)
for updating my ROM with the official update on the HTC website.
It says that it can't install due Compabilityproblems....
Anyone got a solution for it ?

hi mate, which phone is it ? I mean, what is the exact model name ? You must have got the software cd with the phone. Is it Windows Millenium, you are talkin' about ?
the program unless it's vista is called activesync one can get it from ms's site for free

i am a owner of a htc diamond . i byet it a few days ago from a company in china.
but they dont me the cd with the drivers and the phone has no inbuild mobile 6.1
i connect the phone to the pc but it dosn't regnonizent.
where can i found the driver for the htc

i have this kind of pocket pc.
WM 2003 2nd edition
ver 4.21.1088
i want to upragde it to the latest os..
then how can i connect it to the pc, it says i need to establish partnership to the pc.. and i dunno how.. i dont have any idea what suite i need to connect it..
please help me guys, im a new user.. and member..

download n install Active sync then it should pick up your phone

if there is already a topic about problem with WMDC and Windows 7 64-bit I´m sorry that I´m spamming, so then please send me only a link.
In the case, there is not discussion on this problem I´ll tell you in brief what´s going on, or in fact what is not going on...
My HTC Kaiser connects to my PC via WMDC, but that´s all, I can´t find way how to synchronize data between my PC and PDA. Can anybody help me please?

hi guys, I'm trying to flash tom photon Rom ,I connect the phone with ActiveSync and browsing the files through it ,bun when I'm trying to run the file it doesn't work and it gets to its properties instead...can you help me? its very importent thank you very much

try to reinstall activesync if u r using winXP and windows mobile device centre if u r using win 7
